Yeah, this does seem familiar. I've been blind to what I've been doing.

Just block me. Everything you've told me has been wrong or stupid.

You don't seem to be fat and you have decent enough lifts. This is enough to start running game on every woman who looks you in the eyes. You said you can't do "verbal game" but that's bullshit, you just haven't practiced. Start building the confidence to look women in the eyes and smile and not look away in embarrassment. You're going to fuck this up because you haven't practiced how your face looks. For your "empathy" problems, I had them too. What I found was not that I had extra empathy, it …

OYS #10 I wrote out all that I've been doing but I'm not posting it. I've been intentionally vague surrounding my day-to-day and my mission because I don't want to dox myself. I've come to realize that being vague to hide details of my life is hindering the support I would get from you guys. I'd stop posting but I like writing these as it helps me focus myself. I've come up with a new format which hopefully provides value while also being clear enough to receive real advice. Stats 30's, 200lbs, …

I've read and re-read the entire thing multiple times. I personally feel aligned but I've had the realization (read: deciphered) that you guys don't believe me so I guess I will list out all of the things I do every day.

Yeah, half the game is deciphering what you retards are trying to say

I've been confused to why you guys think I'm "doing nothing". You want to know all of the things I actually _do_ each and every day. I thought that was the inane part which is why I skimmed over it. I was sharing the hardships I have with myself, my friends, and my wife because I thought that was the idea. I'll change the format of my post next week to reflect all that I do.

What do you mean "align"? I'm not afraid to say no and I'm not really nice.

OYS #9 Stats 30's, 200lbs Bench 250 3x5 Deads 280 3x5 Squat 225 3x5 Pullups 3x8 Ran 11 miles Relationship Last week I was told I did nothing which I suppose is true. I didn't confront my wife, she confronted me about the tile. Did I know this would happen? Yes. It's just that when she confronted me it didn't go how she expected. I also didn't just throw out a line offhand like "I'm thinking about divorce." I also didn't use the word 'divorce' either. I'm sure you guys understand what I mean. She…

The best ones I've found are out-of-pocket. Make sure they look like they work out. Don't go to a physical therapist for old women and fatties.

Will have to stay off the bike for a month+. how do you know this? have you seen a sports physical therapist?

I have to internalize that any decision I make (even if it turns out to be sub-optimal) is better than endlessly mind-reading others and hamstering. people want someone to lead, not to optimize. nerds often know the best on how to do something but then struggle to actually do it. one of my friends wives actually hushed him in front of me while I was driving everyone home one evening. i knew a way back to their place, he knew a better route and when he said, "go straight here", she replied, "he a…

OYS #8 Stats 30's, 208lbs ~20% BF Bench 245 3x5 Deads 275 3x5 Squat 225 3x5 Pullups 3x8 Ran 11 miles Made a new lifting routine and started following it. Bathroom I'm getting our bathroom refinished. I didn't do the work to have matching tiles so now we've got mismatching tiles. I can live with it and it was my decision to live with it because to have matching tile would cost more money and take more time. It's mostly the time I care about. My wife sees it differently and told me I should have l…

I don't understand what you mean about DEERing. I'm eyeing other women because I'm starting to evaluate whether my wife would be a good enough mother. We've both grown so much but I'm having doubts about it, red flags I've ignored. But I am seeing improvements. I think having options is good for me now because I have no children.

Lifts: It'll happen. Lust: I never thought about it like that. I do admit my performance in bed has not been on my mind. We've had some amazing sex where I created passion with lots of foreplay but lately I just want to cum. Game: To fuck. Work: Most definitely. Fixing shit: I have a problem where I don't ask for advice or help about anything so that's what I mean. I'm obviously learning handyman shit on my own.

OYS #7 It has been nearly a year since my last OYS. I stopped posting because I wasn't getting any feedback. I realized that perhaps I wasn't doing something right so instead I just focused on owning my shit and now I'm at a place where I actually see what you guys mean. I think I get it but I need some help. Stats 30's, 209lbs ~20% BF Bench 245 3x5 Deads 225 3x5 Squat 225 3x5 Pullups 3x12 Lifts are weird because I'm recovering from physical therapy. OYS #6 Goals: Lose 11 more pounds, down 29. Talk to company about teaching opportunity. Kill next presentation. Fitness: 196 lbs, ~21.5% BF (navy). Bench 190x10, OHP 92.5x12, Squat 195x8, Dead 225x5, Pullups 3x8. Career: I killed my presentation. My VP was there too which was a bonus. Everyone liked my presentation which means they didn't burden me with bullshit work. I have a follow-up this week. Have an opportunity to teach a class, make some cash, and network. Not sure if I'm going to accept …

Career: My director has tried placing a lot more on my plate even though I had scheduled PTO for my camping trip and had more than enough to chew through already. Career: The meeting about my promotion last week was a diversion. They want to give me some tasks to "make" the promotion but I feel I already do enough. Even still, I knew this could be an outcome when I asked for the promotion. I'm going to keep my involvement to a higher level so I can delegate on…

I was confused about these replies. Realized I read your post wrong. Maybe I shouldn't have said "a lot", but in private I correct her where she's obviously wrong or it would be detrimental to us. This is things like spending habits where she thought she spent "only this much." This could be correcting her estimate of calories for a meal we made. And I correct her when she's made a mistake about medical or financial information on the phone. She's very carefree so these things happen frequently …

Most of the time I'm correcting her when she's sharing something that's incorrect. For one example, she was talking about filing taxes and mentioned the form name incorrectly. In my mind, I think this is ok because if we're talking about something so specific, like taxes, I'd like the details to be correct coming from us. But I can also see where this is just a casual conversation and not one with a CPA. I'm trying to remember this.

OYS #3 Goals: Lose 19 more pounds, down 21. Book activities for camping trip. Publish my article this week. I failed publishing my article last week. I had less time than I thought to work on it and I also had a whole-draft revision I wanted to make. Will focus on that this week. Fitness: 204 lbs, ~24% BF (navy). Bench 165x12, OHP 90x10, Squat 175x8, Dead 185x5, Pullups x8. No running this past week. I have tendonitis so I walked instead. I'm up weight since starting creatine but this was expect…

OYS #2 Mission: To be the living example for my future children. I've received much feedback about this mission. I chose this mission myself based on my own experiences with shitty parents, my parents, and my own childhood. I don't think that I have this mission for external feedback either. I've traveled that path. I've lost a lot of weight recently, but truthfully I've lost similar amounts of weight before. I'd fuck a woman or three and then get fat again. I'd be fit for a summer and then bloa…

OYS #1 Mission: To be the living example for my future children. Reading: I've read again The Way of the Superior Man and gotten new insight from it, particularly in regards to letting my woman be and guiding her without putting hard limits and stops on her activity. The polarity of the masculine, in particular the example being depolarized with pecks on the cheek and little sweet nothings, resonated heavily as well. This coincided perfectly with simply talking less and being more overtly physic…

OYS #0 Mission: To be the living example for my future children. Background: 30's, married, no children with plans to have them. I have been a drunk, or high, captain. I am an addict, it is in my genes and family history. I was abusing weed and sometimes alcohol. I have recently stopped weed completely and reigned in drinking to just social nights with a hard limit. No alcohol in the house. I have lurked MRP for a long time and applied techniques where I saw they would fit but never wanted to ow…
