1	UK: New £10million campaign will aim to build a new army of women bricklayers OP: In the UK male unemployment is much higher than female unemployment but no campaign to get men to be nurses or teachers. This is how bricklaying is already done on site though. The bricklayer is the guy literally laying the bricks, labourers and hod carriers do the rest. That being said, good luck finding many women who will do even that for 8 hours a day when it knackers strong men.
