Who cares. Work on yourself. Get the most you can out of the couples therapy, ditch the stupid stuff. If you’re worried about this you need to focus on the big issues. If this becomes a recurring pattern, deal with it then.

Why do you feel the need to say this?

Thanks. You’ve said it much better than how it’s normally said around these parts.

I think it’s cool that you linked classical psychology with TRP. A lot of guys on here who think they know what they are doing, are actually being avoidant and attracting anxious girls. These girls will do whatever they want for them. They can be great in bed. It totally works to get you laid with these anxious girls, but you aren’t hooking up with high quality women. There are women out there who contribute more to your life than pussy and cleaning. This seems to go against what people upvote h…

A nightclub is the worst place for a introverted, reserved guy. Don’t judge yourself on this and look elsewhere. Also, the fact that you care means hit sidebar

I’ve been there as the captain that doesn’t plan as much as the first mate. I believe that there CAN be a division of power such that the first mate plans trips. It can work, but she liked it and was really good at it. Now, I’ve also been in a situation where she was a planner, but also nagged me. She never would have felt she was nagging, but I did, and it made it so not fun to plan something for her. It ended up feeling like when your parents tell you to clean your room. Not fun. Even though i…

I’m familiar with Chicago. What part do you live in and why do you feel like it’s helped? I recently bought but I’ve only had a GF since, no hookups, and she loves the place. Not sure if other girls would care or not. Same as when I went from hybrid car to fast 2 door convertible, didn’t notice a thing. Why do you think it’s helped you so much? I never had a problem with girls even when I lived in a shithole with roommates while I was saving up for this place. Even when I had no car. Doesn’t see…

Well. They might. Quite a bit more likely they will over you doing Physics under a tree. I’ve been 14 before... and been into Physics. You’ll get rejected. Most people who are smart like you tend to overthink to the point of sensitivity. Learn not to. Now. It’ll help later.

She’s a good lay and a fun friend. Not a good partner. Been there bud. If you can live with that, go for it. Best thing I’ve found for these types of women, the ones that don’t go out of their way to help you, is firm boundaries. Tell her you expect her to help out, and if she doesn’t, pull your attention away. Also, have options and make sure she knows it.

I agree, but be packed/ moved out BEFORE and ideally do it at a public place. I never burn bridges with exes (unless bonefide crazy... most of mine are pretty cool good girls though) and my exes put in good words for me and even help me out when I need it. They are awesome to have around. They know me really well. It takes couple years of little to no contact to get to this point though, so it’s a long game. I never fuck them at this point, ever. Good exes make for great friends, with little to …

Oops just glanced at your post history. Check out using these anti-anxiety drugs you’re taking. That is most likely your issue.

Nah man, I can relate. My T levels are above normal (tested multiple times), USED to be insatiable. Since swallowing the pill, women are not as interesting to me. Not sure how far along you are... My theory is that once getting laid becomes easy, and controlling a relationship is easy, that you don’t feel as strong of a need to seek it out. You can get it whenever you want, so it’s not something you pursue. As for jerkin it, my body needs an orgasm every few days or I start getting on edge and p…

Sucks man. Whoever wants the relationship less controls the relationship. You might love the kid but it’ll be hard to control frame with that on your mind. Good luck.

I don’t know about other downvoters, but I’ll say how I feel about the subject to clarify and give a voice to the downvotes. I agree with TRP wholeheartedly. Except for manipulation. I see it as a very short-term tactic. Here’s my experience in why. I can tell when people use manipulation tactics on me, even if I can’t pinpoint it, I can feel it. I avoid these people like the fucking plague, and this goes for manipulative girls I’m dating (even plates, why deal with that shit), and men/women I d…

You have a big bonus with her because you’ve had a really long “test drive” with her. You could probably do better for a mother from the sound of it, but she seems like a good choice considering. You could do better... but you could do a LOT worse. It seems like she actually cares about you and other people, which is worth a whole lot in my experience. You might end up in a bad divorce scenario, but you’ll have to contend with that possibility in any marriage scenario. Sounds like she’s at least…

Totally with you on this... comment more here even if you get downvotes! You have a more objective look than lots of the people here who have the same canned responses. It’s sometimes like they don’t really read what people are asking. My advice for anyone on this sub is that you should learn everything on here... it really works. But also learn when NOT to use it. Think for yourself rather than upvoting posts that support what is commonly said. You’ll find that the best course for yourself will…

I struggle with this too. I do usually make great decisions. But on the other hand, what I’ve come to realize is that I’m spending time making decisions on things that don’t fucking matter. Where to invest your money - spend the time What you are doing in an evening/ordering off of a menu/movie choice on Netflix - just pick something and get back to living life. Hardest part for me is being aware of when I’m doing it.

He's writing this as an example. There's likely hundreds or thousands of times just like it. This is a small matter but... not all together bro

You can do seated machine exercises. Much less strain on your back.
