1	Denied Maybe you’re understanding what I’m getting at. I changed my original comment. I do not think the accuser should immediately go to trial following a not guilty verdict. However, no harm is done with an investigation. I don’t agree with your statement about #4, I don’t think that’s a fair scenario, but regardless there is more to investigate than just the accusers character. 1	Denied You’re right, if we were to implement this it should be a standard and should apply to cases dealing with murder, robbery, assault, etc. but I don’t see that as discouragement. So we don’t do it on EVERY case, perhaps just look at it on a case by case basis Not sure what you’re arguing here, maybe I’m misunderstanding. 3	Denied Who all would be against this idea: if the defendant(s) are found not guilty, there should be a subsequent trial investigation of the victim of the first trial to find if they accused the defendant with any malicious intent.
