Masculinity is thinking like a man. And what that means is being able to recognize what the right thing to do is with objective thinking. It means seeking true wisdom and being willing to die for what is right. Real masculinity doesn’t accept bribes, doesn’t engage in gossip, doesn’t believe in violence, and understands respect and decency. It means exercising self-control, discipline, patience, and humility. It means not to think with your emotions or make excuses and to have a work ethic. Has …

They think it makes them morally superior. It’s pathetic. They often had a bad relationship with their dad. And they put women on a pedestal. Some people always need a cause to fight for to give their lives meaning in their own eyes.

That’s an interesting take. Makes sense. The older we get the more jaded we get. Just consider how many times you’ve eaten French fries, for instance. Everything gets put on repeat. And when you’ve lived hard and had a wild youth it makes almost nothing seem exciting, in my case. More things feel like a chore. And the more I learn about things, like how fake the news is and politics, it feels more and more hopeless. The truth is not pretty. I’ve been through divorce court and many other places i…

Dude, same...I just play chess now. I may get the new super meat boy, but games have been kinda ruined. They’re designed to be more distracting and cater to shorter attention spans, I guess. They don’t feel fun to me anymore. They feel like work. Yeah, too many damn menus, too much dialogue (they’re not just games, they’re digital movies as well), too many pop-up notifications...maybe I’m just getting old, because I sure like less and less and avoid more and more in all areas of life.

They generally don’t. The men I know in the military either went because they literally got tired of working at McDonald’s and felt they had hit a wall or they simply needed a job. The military does offer more security than most professions. Another reason why many people in the military get married simply for benefits of insurance and money. I’ve known men that did that as well. Marry some chick with a bunch of kids and they have ads online for threesomes. Yeah, I hate this country.

My point is that no matter how much of an expert one is on anything and everything there’s only so much they can know as a human being. The most brilliant scientist can’t know for certain how exactly the universe came to be. Again, this is just my own viewpoint. It’s all a gray area to me, not black and white.

I thought I knew everything at that age as well. I’m 36 now. The fact that you see this says a lot. My advice is to just smile and nod your head. Do not argue with them. They love to argue. Reserve your mental energy for the few that deserve it. You’re gonna find yourself more and more lonely, but it’ll pass as a grieving process. Most people don’t have their own thoughts, just a group they think they’re a part of and regurgitate the thoughts they’re given. These people are the useful idiots and…

The masculine is associated with order and the feminine with chaos. Feminism injected chaos into society. It’s why there are so many single mothers, why so many men disproportionately end their lives by choice, and why this community exists, amongst the litany of other problems in the modern world.

This almost exact thing has been happening to me. My brother is dating a girl with three kids and she says he has a friend for me. I said, “how old is she?” She said “31.” I said I like 19 year olds just to get a rise out of her. I ain’t mad at her. She’s just a woman. My brother is a douche though. Happy thanksgiving, brothers. Find peace. If you don’t find it alone, you’ll never find it with the headache of a modern woman. I have a 9 year old daughter and I’m not sexist. It’s the environment t…

I completely agree with this guy. I’ve known these things for a long time, but the perspective he puts it in I never could’ve done. The previous generation had it a lot easier too. The economy was booming during the 80s and 90s an there was no tinder and all that bullshit.

I hate relying on chemicals. I used to drink insane amounts of alcohol to self-medicate and I haven’t had a drink in about 8 months. I wouldn’t recommend anyone starting on these damned things, but i have to be able to function every day. I work a lot and need my mind to be clear.

I’ve noticed that. I’ve known women that got two benzo scripts after one visit to the psyche and no doc would give me anything when I had such bad anxiety I couldn’t hardly function (it runs in my family. My grandmother had to be institutionalized when she was younger and there have been several suicides, addictions, and stress-related heart attacks on both sides of my family.)

The crazy thing is, a lot of times a man’s friends will tell him “you’re a good looking dude” or “you’re not a bad-looking guy.” I used to hear my dad, out of frustration, tell my mom she didn’t have a heart, that she had a gizzard. It took me a long time to understand it. The point is that, if it doesn’t affect a woman directly, they generally aren’t affected by it. They can’t help it. Their brains are wired for solipsism. It’s actually perfectly logical for a woman to put a man down. It benefi…

You just have the balls to keep it 100. Of course she has to resort to shaming tactics and attack your maturity and intelligence based on one honest comment. What most men do is tell them what they want to hear and bounce after hitting it a few times. They will even make something of the kid to get what they want. But they will not hang around to raise another man’s seed. You also saved that kid from more damage by not being one of the many he will see come and go. What you did was save her and …

As a general rule, I agree. Historically, I think that a woman’s “selling point” was her beauty in youth coupled with purity. A lot of tattoos doesn’t scream purity at all. And I think that biologically these things fit very well with reproduction. Just as an old man is as fertile as a young man, with women this isn’t the case. So, mileage on us isn’t nearly the factor as it is for them. The reason we’re on this forum talking about it is the nonsense that has been sold to us our whole lives that…

Well, the first tattoo I got was a design with my daughter’s birthday. That was the first thing in my life that I felt strongly enough about to have engraved on my body. Your observation about the badass macho stuff is spot on and I detest that stuff. Usually, those guys have tribal tattoos or something meaningless and it’s almost always something very visible to draw attention. All of mine have deep personal meaning and I never show them off. As far as some examples that fit my views, I really …

I have tattoos, but none below the elbow or knees. I’m not saying this because I’m offended or trying to justify myself and I completely understand not liking them. Just to say that I think there’s a limit to how many someone should get or where they get them and what the tattoo’s message is. If it’s offensive or vulgar, it’s not tasteful. And part of the whole experience is the whole “no turning back” plunge you take. I have absolutely had regrets about getting them, but sometimes not. It’s kin…

I have a daughter that I have partial custody of. I was married to her mother. She really is the best thing that ever happened to me and still is the best part of my life. However, the separation and subsequent court battle with her mother was one of the worst things that ever happened to me. I'll not have any more kids. Only because I can't deal with another mother.

Schopenhauer said it too. Your dad is a wise man.

A "real man" is simply one that she can drain resources from. These women are unbelievably arrogant and selfish. I'm getting to the point that I can't even imagine having sex with them. They'd have to pay me.

Exact thing happened to me. She asked to have coffee as friends. I ignored her. Ignoring a woman is the only way to get to them and win an argument with them. If you're upset and angry it feeds their egos because they have that control over you.

This. Once the truth is revealed to you and has time to sink in, you'll go through an angry phase. It's like a mourning process. But once you've processed it all, peace will come over you and you will be able to sit back with coffee/beer/popcorn/whatever and watch things crumble. It's not a pleasant site to see (especially when your buddies get thrown under the bus), but you'll be safe. And maybe then they'll get wise.

I read it. Jesus. I don't even know what else to say.

You're right. Because, it's ultimately the legal system that destroys men. Back in the day of our grandfathers, women were kept in their place where they couldn't destroy lives as much.

Being a father is the best thing that can ever happen to you. The problem is that society has exploited men's biological drives that what should be the most rewarding experiences (as was the case for our grandfathers) is what destroys men. Society is being destroyed because of this. So, yes, I completely agree.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
