1	Judge goes off on woman after cheering in court I know of one person in my home state (SD) that found out 4 years after the fact that he wasn't the father. He had to go to court to have his name removed. Thankfully, she (the mother) didn't protest the removal but told the Judge to go ahead and remove it. If she hadn't done that he could still be paying child support for a kid that she moved 14 hours away. In most states if you're on the birth certificate its nearly impossible to be removed. In states where its easier to be removed once paternity has been established, you have to have a hearing specifically for that and having DNA evidence isn't always enough.
