A girl I'd previously matched with popped up again on Tinder. I seen she had her Instagram in her bio, and her Tiktok linked in her Instagram. Looked through her Tiktok out of curiosity and seen she had a video where she was asking multiple men to send her "sexy voice notes" so she could hear their voice - all of these were then played in the tiktok compilation. It was really eye opening, we all know women get more attention then men on dating apps, but seeing her actively have 15+ guys she's te…

As far as I'm concerned if I look at a couple and my immediate thought isn't "how the hell did they end up together!??" then they're looksmatched. Personally I wouldn't bat an eye if I saw these two together.

Modern dating has absolutely exposed that marriage and long term relationships are consolation prizes for men, it's crazy how some women just refuse to accept it. "Situation-ships" "Friends with benefits" "Casual dating" If a dude can fuck the shit out of you without having to offer you any commitment he's won.

I'll never understand the "girls don't like muscles" argument. It's the one thing a guy can do to make himself more attractive. If you were to draw a triangle of muscle - skinny - fat, like the one in the Fallout 4 character creator, every dude would land somewhere in that triangle. Some women would prefer dudes skinny/muscle (swimmer build), some fat/muscle (powerlifter kinda build), almost 0 women would chose fat/skinny (skinny fat) or pure skinny/pure fat. <image> Sure, not many women like th…

I really don’t think so. Take short guys for example, does not matter one bit what kind of guy they are they will be instantly written off by 95% of women due to being short

That’s just gaslighting yourself, you were never really that attracted to him. If you were genuinely attracted to him he’d have to try very fucking hard to lose that attraction.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/24 07:28 PM
3

But that extra stuff is never enough. If someone isn’t already attracted to you nothing you can do will change that. And if they are already attracted to you it’s difficult to make them lose that attraction. That’s why you see so many women in relationships with “shitty guys”

The older I get the more I think dating is majority about looks, especially modern dating, and everything else is just people gaslighting themselves and others. That’s why most dating advice is bullshit because the real advice is “just be hot”.

Honestly I thought he was kinda ugly as well, but he was very tall & charismatic. If dude wasn’t as tall as he was I don’t think he would have got any.

For a sub called “Debate” it’s ironic how often you’ll see people checking off every single fallacy of debating. Red herrings, straw manning, you name it.

All the studies and arguments on here can’t really compare to real life experience. When I was in college most men I knew had no sex, some had a lot. Most women I knew had casual sex, some had none (by choice). There was also two girls in my class, very close friends, who were sleeping with the exact same guy. One girl was hot as shit, the other was to be brutally honest kinda ugly; both hooking up with the same dude though.

For what it’s worth I can sort of understand why they can’t empathise, it’s not something they will ever experience. In the same way I can’t empathise with women who deal with creepy men. Not that I don’t feel bad for them, just that it’s not something I’ve ever experienced so I can’t truly understand how bad it is to be very young and have guys 3x your age making sexual comments and trying to corner you. Women will never understand truly what dating is like for a guy. Often times their advice i…

A cute French couple/music duo popped into my feed, I really liked their songs even though I didn’t speak French. All very cutesy and about love, was maybe starting to lose my blackpill. Then I looked them up and found out they broke up a long time ago because they cheated on each other. (From what I can gather online she cheated first, then he cheated with multiple women after). Now I’m back to blackpilled again.

Wish we could go back to ~2014 when Tinder was somewhat popular but seen as a purely a hookup app. Now it’s just filled with people looking for validation. I never used it back then but I had friends who did, they say it used to have a story feature that only matches could see - which was almost exclusively used for posting nudes. You could straight up ask a match to hookup and theyd probably say yeah. Nowadays I match with women, ask them to go out for a coffee and they’re like “ew wtf?”

I only know from talking with them. Every guy friend I’ve had a deep conversation with who wasn’t currently dating usually said some form of “it’s just not worth trying to date women these days”

You assume they’re happily focusing on work or hobbies. I don’t think it’s something any man would talk to a woman about. I work and have hobbies, from the outside you’d assume I’m happily single. Truth is I’ve just given up.

My experience with what women say vs how they act is what shattered my hope. They say they want a loving relationship, with a decent guy, and don’t care too much about looks/height. In practice they’re more than willing to settle for just casual sex and will never ever consider anyone who isn’t tall/attractive.

Anyone else notice the bottom half of men in their life have just given up on dating? In my life the bottom half of attractive men have just completely given up on dating, like they don’t even bother trying to impress women or even ask them out even more. In the past “beta bux” was always a thing but I genuinely don’t think this generation of men will be willing to settle down later in life. Most of them are willing to have casual sex but have zero interest in “dating” modern women.

Personality wise sure, I think most men wouldn't want to be in a relationship with a girl they don't vibe with, but they're willing to overlook a lot looks wise. That's not to say they wouldn't prefer a more attractive girl, but just that being average/slightly below average looks won't rule a girl out. Again, the reverse is true in my experience. Women won't date a guy she's not physically attracted to, and they're willing to overlook a lot personality wise as long as they get a man who has goo…

"You're single because you only go after women way out of your league." seems like peak projection to me. I don't really see that with the majority of men, most of them would be willing to give like 80% of women (their own age) a shot. Meanwhile for women that stat seems to be reversed. It's projection plain and simple. If a woman can't get a guy it's usually because shes shooting out of her league, so she assumes that any guy who can't get a girl must be doing the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/07/24 10:09 PM

Messi is the GOAT. Most sports are dominated by tall chads. Unironically felt good growing up to have one sport where a short (most likely also autistic) king was not only good at the game, but one of the greatest to ever play.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 11:40 PM

Yeah and how many dudes on here (myself included) have more or less given up trying because they know it's mostly height/looks women care about? If I keep my current mindset I just won't try at all, because I know my height makes me unattractive. But if I can trick myself into thinking height doesn't matter I'll still get rejected because of height, but overall have more success because at least I'll be trying.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/07/24 11:29 PM

I watched a Veritasium video about success and whether it was all about luck or hard work and the conclusion was that yes, luck actually plays a pretty massive role in success. However, he also remarked that if you want success you're actually better off deluding yourself into thinking it's all about hard work - it won't be the most important factor but it will help. People who delude themselves into thinking it's all hard work actually do better than people who think it's primarily luck, despit…

I think social media actually plays a huge role in this too, it affects all of us. Like you say social media has affected mens view of women and everyone's like "yep, absolutely social media has affected how men view women." However, people refuse to accept that it might have similarly had an affect on how women view men. This is armchair pseudo-psychology but studies have shown that women are now more insecure than ever. I think a fully secure woman wouldn't have an issue with dating a short gu…

I was reading another thread about height and dating with Gen Z. In it there were a few shorter Gen Z men stating that they actually get more action from millennial women, and that Gen Z women want nothing to do with them. Also, men as old as 50 were saying they're getting an insane amount of attention from 19-25 year old women - like even more than women they're own age. I don't get why, with men reporting that women these days care a lot about your height, women themselves going on dating apps…

"Watch what they do, not what they say." is honestly great advice for assessing most people in life. So often people will do something that goes completely against the morals they claim to have. Dating? Someone can claim they want x/y/z in a partner, but who they date/approach will tell you what they really want. Personality? Majority of people think of themselves as good people, you have to watch how they actually treat people and work out for yourself if they actually practice their supposed m…

Q4 short men: Have you found short women to be more or less likely to date you? I ask because I'm a short dude and my ideal partner would be shorter than me (I'm 5'7", if I could choose I'd want my partner to be 5'5"/5'4"). The only women who've ever expressed interest in me though were all taller than me, seems like any woman shorter than me want nothing to do with me.

Specifically, the number of 18-24-year-old men reporting no partnered sex during the past year increased from 18.9% to 30.1% across time. Put another way, 1 in 3 young men today are reporting not having had sex for at least a year. They split the data into age groups

Do you guys think the reports of increased sexlessness with younger generations is actually true or are people just more likely to admit it these days? I've seen multiple reports and studies that say ~1/3 young men have not had sex in the last year and 1/5 women. Both are almost doubled from previous generations. I've seen two reactions to this, some people claiming it's actually something with society that's wrong (probably the camp I fall into) and others claiming it's purely that people don't…

Man I thought reading the FA subreddit might make me feel better to find others in my situation but it just made me feel even more hopeless. One thing they pointed out on there, not having any relationships/sex in your late teens/early 20s says a lot about how bleak your future is. Q4A: What 1 thing can ruin an otherwise perfect partner for you? For me it's single moms, I might be open to having children with a woman, but there's no way I'm raising some other dudes kids. they are all quite aware of their league. Doubt. I've seen it all too often, girls match with hot guys, get lead on (sometimes without even realizing they're being lead on), and then decide that hot guy is now their league.

No offense but how old are you? Because in my experience this is the majority of women in their early 20s. They've been fed "never settle, you deserve more" their entire life and their dating mantra is "never, ever, settle". They will date and fuck the top 20% of guys, but those are the only ones they'll chase. If they can't get those guys they'll stay single rather consider less attractive guys.

Not all butterflies and rainbows. At this point I’m somewhat jaded, and over dating. I have a hard time trusting women, given the sneaky and underhanded things I’ve seen them do to get what they want. Most recently, a friend’s new love interest took it upon herself to hit on me and inform me that if I wanted to date her, she’d drop him in a heartbeat (yes I told him asap). This is an interesting perspective (assuming you're not just another dude on the internet bullshitting). As someone who's ve…

I agree it's happening to both genders, and I actually think it's the same thing overall causing it, but it's happening at different stages. For men, they seem to struggle in their 20s mostly. When I look around I see so many dudes who are just depressed and tired of trying to deal with women; a lot of these dudes genuinely want loving relationships but if they're not in that top 20% then they don't get anything from the majority of women. It's lonely and isolating. By their 30s/40s they're most…

I don't think they do it intentionally. They think they have a shot with the top 20% guy, but he just wants to lead them on. To her he's the love of her life who she just can't get to commit for some reason, and to him she's just another girl he bangs to up his ego and get his nut off. Depends on what you want in life, most of the women I've seen who fit this category want family and marriage, and "love" but realize the clocks ticking for a lot of that stuff.

I don't know what it's like for other ethnicities but for white dudes this is exactly what dating looks like. If you're tall, have an acceptable face, and relatively in shape, then as a white dude you can absolutely slay with women. When women say they're not going to settle unless they find their ideal partner (6'+, attractive, charismatic) none has any issue. But if a guy says he's not going to settle unless he finds someone attractive (early to mid 20s, not fat, attractive) everyone would lose their shit at him and tell him he's being unrealistic? Cap. I've seen tall dudes who look like trolls have no issue pulling any woman they want. Tom Holland on the other hand would be a virgin if he wasn't famous.

I've tried that pre-covid, still got turned down by one of the fattest ugliest girls in the club. Needless to say it was a huge blow to what little self confidence I had left. I don't go to bars post COVID

Sticking with the food analogy I'd personally say that women are looking for meals that taste good. If it tastes amazing and is healthy for you then obviously it'd the perfect meal. However most meals aren't like that. And given the choice between a healthy meal that tastes like shit, or a delicious meal that's very unhealthy most women seem to choose the "unhealth but tastes amazing" option. A meal being healthy is always going to be a bonus, but at the end of the day most women aren't looking …

Halo effect imo. They already have the hots for him so if he does literally anything their immediate reaction is to view it favourably. If an ugly guy makes a shitty joke it's a shitty joke, if a hot guy makes a shitty joke they laugh anyway because they assume it's an anti-joke.

No one doubts that women are horny. It's just that men men when they're horny will fuck pretty much any but the most unattractive women. Women on the other hand won't just fuck any guy, it has to be a really attractive guy. If anything I'd say that men are willing to drop their standards lower than their dating standards for a one night stand, where as women do the polar opposite; they raise their standards higher for a one night stand than they would for dating. At least when it comes to looks.

Because most men are not violent abusive and lazy, right? Nope, a lot of men are (mostly lazy and quite a few abusive). How many guys do you know who get married and then immediately give up on their appearance and goals? I can think of quite a few I know who fit that description. So then women must be rewarding men who go to work, pay their bills, don’t commit crime and don’t abuse their loved ones. Don't get me wrong, it can encourage men to lead a prosperous life in some instances. Hell, th…

I'm pretty sure I knew my roommates, unless I have undiagnosed schizophrenia. In any case I feel like you're trying to red-herring the argument rather than actually try to refute what I said. Men act the way they do in relationships because it works, a big reason people turn to the "red pill" in the first place is because they realise "what I've previously been doing hasn't been working..." I think FDS are wrong on a lot of fronts but they're right in the belief that they shouldn't date men who …

Sure you do. Have you ever opened a twitter thread? "Men are trash" is tag-line of half the women on there, hell even on reddit go to the FDS sub, everything there is about how "low-value" most men are. In college I used to hang out with my roommates a lot and they were very left leaning LGBTQ+ type people, the topic of "abusive men" was something that came up semi-frequently between them. Tupac was never in a gang. Tupac may not be the right guy I'm thinking, I know for a fact it's some famou…

Men act the way they do because women reward it. Women are the ones who select their partners while men are the ones who have to compete. So it's only natural that men are going to act whatever way is more likely to get them a partner/laid. I constantly hear women complain about the way men act, but the truth is they act that way because you reward it. Men aren't romantic anymore because women view men who are romantic as unmanly and choose not to date them, men act like thugs because women find…

We're headed for a Japan-style society. I've commented here before about how I feel the rise in inceldom is mostly related to larger changes in society, some of which aren't even directly related to relationships but impact them anyway. I feel like if you want to see what the future of dating/relationships looks like you just need to look at Japan. There's some differences between the west and Japan (Japan is stricter on immigration, and they managed to retain most of their manufacturing industr…

But almost everyone seems to somehow forget, tall handsome men aren’t cardboard cutouts with no personality, you’re competing against tall and handsome men who also have great personalities, or hell you’re also competing against your average man who also has a great personality. Another thing people seem to forget is there's literally a direct coloration between height/attractiveness and confidence.

Alright so I'll chime in on this one, although I don't subscribe to most incel beliefs anymore this is one I still believe, because I have personal experience with it. It was after a night of heavy drinking, I went back to my house with a couple of friends, one of whom was a woman. This woman I had been friends with for months beforehand and we were always on really good terms. Anyway I ended up getting pretty depressed and it must have been pretty visible because eventually she ended up corneri…

I think that's partially true but it's more nuanced than that. Most women I know who earn a good wage still want to date, but the important factor is they refuse to date "down" that is they won't date someone who isn't at least as educated or earns as much as them, for guys that doesn't seem to be as big a consideration. This is important because (at least in my country) women graduate college at a higher rate than men, and are more likely to go to college in the first place.

Personally I'm not sure there has been a rise in ASD, as far as I understand Autism is mostly genetic (it has a tendency to be passed down) - I think it's always been there we've just gotten better at diagnosing it. I agree that having a good father figure is important for men growing up though.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about why there seems to be a rise in Incels/Red-Pill/Single Men in general these days and the more I think about it the more I think it's caused by a multitude of factors rather than just one single issue. I spent a lot of time on Incel forums, I'm still technically an Incel but I don't subscribe to a lot of the beliefs I used to (though I still do believe the undeniable facts; such as tall men having a much easier time when it comes to dating). I've heard all …

I see a few people in this thread saying you won't make 80k/year as a tradesman, which is true, but it's better than going in debt getting a 4 year degree that isn't worth the paper it's printed on. I know guys/girls who fell for exactly that, one guy studied English for 4 years, but had no desire to work as an English teacher or a publisher or a writer... He now works on a stud farm which he could have done without a 4 year degree.

It's so retarded that women think it's an accomplishment for them to have sex. If you're a 7/10 girl and want no strings attached sex just walk into any nightclub, 99% of the guys there will gladly fuck you. If you're a 7/10 guy that percentage drops dramatically. That's why a guy sleeping with a lot of girls is seen as an accomplishment, it takes fucking effort. If you're a girl what effort did it take? Installing tinder and showing up?

She partied her ass off in her younger days, back when she was pretty fucking hot That's why I'm so glad things like Facebook and Instagram are around in my generation, even just the internet in general. You know those sluts can't resist getting every bit of attention they can from it. Why do I like this? Because when I'm in my 30s/40s they won't be able to lie about/hide their past any woman who approaches me with the whole "I just think you're the right guy" I'll be able see she spent her yout…

My highschool prom date (well my country's version of prom, we were 18), she asked me to the prom, spent the whole lead up talking about how she loved me and would not stop texting me. The day of the prom she got drunk and I left for 10 minutes to talk to some of my friends, came back and apparently she'd left to go fuck some other guy.

then you see they are married with two kids and their page is covered with bible verses. Or if they are younger you see some guy they have been dating since high school. One of the first things that taught me about how women really act, a friend of mine (a real "Chad" type of guy) said he had nudes of a girl who we went to highschool with (we were a year out of highschool at this point), I thought he was bullshitting me but no, apparently she sent them to him a week ago, face included and all (h…

My uncle let his wife go on a girls night out with her friends while he stayed at home to mind the kids, she didn't come back 'till the next morning. Apparently they were so drunk they all decided to rent a hotel room to share between themselves. He buys the story but I don't, would anyone here with half a brain think that they decided to just rent a hotel room rather than getting a 20 minute taxi ride home?

some on stagettes You mean a hen night? But yeah I never understood stags/hens, I men I've heard so many stories, even in AMAs from male strippers, that basically confirms a lot of women cheat on their hen nights. It really says a lot about female nature, commitment? Bullshit, they want to fuck whatever they can all you are to them is resources.

Bro, one of my own fucking cousins (2nd cousin) also fetishises black guys and has fucked more guys at festivals than she can remember (I'm not even being hyperbolic it's literally about 17 guys). She's only 16... yet already well on the cock carousel, it's honestly fucking disgusting, especially knowing it's my own family member. Her parents of course think she's a sweet little angel who's driven and wants to go to college, and she goes to all these festivals because she's young and just loves …
