"common" buddy... I said it was "common". Not that it was the majority of cases. I also said that she'll always have a relevant and important standard for looks. If you pick one thing to improve, improve your looks. But your personality is always important, and with a certain amount of women, personality is majorly important. clarifying edit: looks is the biggest factor to the average person especially in the short term. Everyone has a standard for looks. However, there are plenty of relationshi…

It's common for personality to be the main reason a woman is attracted to a man, but it is never the ONLY reason she's attracted. She'll have some standard, even if not that high for every other element (looks, financials, game, etc).

It's so hard to go from reading mode to taking action mode, but it's an essential step to becoming better with women, and mroe satisfied with who you are.

Thank you. I think it's a good thing a moderator is spreading this message and addressing these myths. Guys need to stop complaining about what they don't have to offer, start maximizing what they do have to offer, and approaching women (not during COVID-19)

I agree and disagree. Your thinking is filled with black and white thinking, oversimplifications, etc. But you have a point overall. To me: Approaching is a good thing to do, and game in and of itself shows something women value, confidence, social skills, etc. But if you start putting more time into spamming the female population than trying to make progress with yourself, you're doing it wrong.

I had a few "approaches" where she just kept on walking like I was nothing. My 4th or 5th approach was with a woman at a bus stop. She was really pretty and I was shocked she was even giving me the time of da. I got her number and a bit of flirting ensued, but she declined to go on a date because I was 4 years younger than her.

A few thoughts: First of all sexual desire isn't unhealthy, and if it comes from normal/cool/pleasant guy girls don't think it's desperate at all. One way I make my desire less conflicted, and combat the forces telling me male sexuality is perverted and inherently creepy (all nonsense.)... is to focus on having standards. I tell myself I'm a buyer, not a beggar. I'm qualifying her. I'm knowing my standards beyond just "has a vagina.", for how she looks and behaves in and out of the bedroom. I'm …

Yeah just ask her if she's up to anything this weekend and ask her if she wants to hang out and watch a movie. Sure it's a possibility she gave you the number to not be awkward, but don't focus on that possibility. Give yourself more credit and don't be too hard on yourself.

Keeping it simple is a great strategy. A lot of "weaknesses" aren't an issue because they actually hold a guy back, they're a "weakness" because his insecurity about those things holds him back. Big difference. You can get caught up in infinite shortcomings you make up in your head. Or you can just have simple thinking like your post describes, jump in, and be surprised at all the good things that happen.

From Sidebar: "Learn how to connect with the ones you're trying to get with!" You should only approach women you'd be excited to fuck. For some men that means no women over a certain age or below a certain looks threshold. Now to be fair, sometimes these standards are because of too much pornography and lack of interacting with the real world. But most of the time wanting younger and hotter is normal and perfectly fine.

For online dating if you decide to get into it, here's some ideas based on what I've seen lately: Focus not just on looking good in pictures, but on the pictures looking good. Clear, nice composition, good lighting. Give things to talk about in your profile. Some girls just have a height requirement, or that they like to laugh, or that they aren't there for hookups. Those kinds of things might be true but, it says nothing about them individually. Put conversation starters in your profile.

I would say, give her some space and pursue/create other leads. Maybe send an indirect text sometime in the next week (a picture of something in the moment like a pet looking funny, a nice view, a cool looking meal/dessert/drink, etc). But don't be too expectant for it to work, move on mentally.

Try this mindfulness walking practice to get out of the self-doubt in your head and just into the moment.: https://www.mindful.org/daily-mindful-walking-practice/

Most popular one is probably Call Her Daddy. The hosts are usually likable, but sometimes in an Always Sunny Way, they're such annoying and/or bad people that it's absurd and therefore funny. They're not who I'd want to date, they're kind of in character for the show, and there are annoying sometimes. BUT, the extent that sex is a part of their lives, how much they want it, and the ease with which they bring it up to each other is all communicated, and that's the most helpful takeaway.

This is kind of a two-fold thing. You need to be hornier than you are self conscious. Not jerking off or watching porn, and staying in the moment when out help with that. You also need to just be less ashamed of being horny. I overcame a similar problem by escalating a bit via text/online messaging, exploring more sexually liberated environments, and studying women's sexuality. Escalating via text takes less balls, and once you get a few positive responses it really hammers into your head that t…
