| 2 | Don't 👏🏻 Settle 👏🏻 For 👏🏻 LessI definitely agree with maturity meaning being able to divide the attention. I wish it were more understood that the priority is flexible meaning sometimes the kids are the priority and sometimes the spouse is the priority. The thing that makes me sad is based on what I've seen on different boards, the love parents have for their child(ren) and SO is different, but many times not equal in "quality" if that makes sense. Thank you for weighing in! | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/06/20 09:20 PM |

I'm in the process of separating from a man (for other reasons as well) who has a daughter and while I always viewed our "trio" as each person having their "own lane" i.e. spouse-to-spouse, spouse-to-child, stepparent-to-child, my STBX always turned things into "one lane" where to him, his daughter always came first. It was hard to accept this as fair, when in "first families"… | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/06/20 09:02 PM |

Just out of curiosity, if your marriage and spouse turned out to be everything you ever wanted, and you were still together, would you still feel the same way (your child coming first before anyone else in your life)? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/06/20 08:12 PM |
| 2 | Don't 👏🏻 Settle 👏🏻 For 👏🏻 LessWhat do you guys think about this in the context of marrying a person with a child who believes their child (or children) comes before their spouse? | /r/FemaleDatingStrategy | 20/06/20 04:05 PM |
