6	How to deal with your gf's nice guy friend I think it's because seddit gets into a weird frame of mind where alpha=aggressive/macho. 11	How to deal with your gf's nice guy friend It's very possible that he's just a good friend. One of my best friends is a girl, but I have absolutely no romantic inclinations towards her whatsoever. When dudes that she's dating try to go "alpha" I just laugh at them, and then she does too, because going "alpha" is hilariously poor form.
