Reputation doesn't matter in bars/clubs... but it does matter in the workplace. Especially if you are going to be at that particular place for a long time. You don't want to be labeled as the creep. Regardless of what you do after, it can be hard to shake whatever first impression you gave.

I prefer monogamy to "spinning plates" for a few reasons. 1) More sex. I can have sex 3 times a day, every day while in a monogamous relationship. No way I can get that spinning plates. And dealing with the drama of multiple women. Hell no. 2) Meaningful emotional connection. Which consequently makes the sex even better. 3) Kinkier sex. It usually takes a while to become open enough to share your weird sexual fantasies with a partner. Less likely with a plate. So yeah. Basically more, better sex…

Honestly I have read a lot around here about being "stoic" and only saying what needs to be said... but honestly I don't think that's true. What matters is the quality of the words that come out of your mouth, not quantity. Too little can be bad. Too much can be bad. You have to find the amount that best suits you... just stay within the boundaries of "medium". Other things that are important are being socially comfortable, confident, body language*, and generally know what you're talking about …

I think you're just butt hurt, honestly. I'm nowhere near top 20% and I had awesome success with tinder. Mostly 7-8s couple 9s. The key is persistence, patience and good text game. Oh and live in a highly populated area, like a city.

Generally agree with your post. I have experienced it myself. I have even had a married female friend of mine say "I wish we had of tried something before I met my husband" straight to my face. As another poster mentioned, traditionally women were kept away from other men once they have been spoken for. Also remember in the past, the penalty for infidelity was a LOT higher because community was tighter and working together was essential for survival. Getting caught with something like that meant…

Yup been there... definitely saw a lot of that age group with superficial cutting. Agreed. It is technically self-harm. Although some of the "self-harmers" seem to think they were attempting suicide. The line can get kind of blurry. Of course, history helps. But it seems to only estimate risk. The person who's been in the ER for the 100th time might actually do it. The person without any history might have no intent. Either way it is clear that women often "attempt" suicide as a cry for help whe…

Your obligation is to Dan. It's his mess, he has to clean it up. You would definitely be seen as a dick by Dan and possibly other people if you rat on him. Sometimes these things destroy a marriage. Sometimes they're just a part of the marriage that both parties accept. Sometimes the girl would be better off never knowing. There's no real way to tell what action will have the most beneficent outcome... so just stay out of it.

To an alpha man, your academic, athletic and financial achievements are of almost zero value. They sure as heck don't care about how much you've traveled. Most "alpha" men will be looking for women who have a nice body, a pretty face, and who are feminine. That's reality. Don't look for a guy who is AS smart and AS athletic as you. Look for a guy you are attracted to, have fun with and isn't a drug or porn addict with no direction in his life. I promise you, you will be happier.

Ghost. No explanation. Nothing. Anything you do will just show you care and make you weaker.

Who is more your friend, Dan or Katrina? If it's Dan you should respect the bro code and not be a rat on your friends. If its Katrina you should look out for her and tell her. It's simple: protect your closest friends. If you get involved, prepare to lose whichever party you don't side with.

I wouldn't be paying for drinks for the girl on the second date unless I thought the girl was worth it (i.e. potential maybe LTR material, not plate material). So if this girl is LTR material, no harm to pay for drinks one time. Also if she's a lightweight who only ever drinks one, I wouldn't even think about it. Who cares. It's like less than $10 for her drink. If she's a career alcoholic and will be asking for more after the bar has run out of everything... then hell no. If she's not LTR mater…

Is it bad showing that I'm "free" 2 nights in a row when she asks to hang out? No. Thats not bad at all. But this could have been handled better. First, avoid putting the ball in her court. I may be off base here but it seems as if you invited yourself to her place. That's not a great move because she can easily get out of it. Instead, you should have suggested that you would come pick her up. Your response to "are you free later today?" should have been something like "Yeah, I'll pick you up at…

You are overanalyzing. Truth is, there is no way of knowing what the heck was going on inside her brain. Did she just want to use you to get her math homework done, or was she feeling lonely and wanted to fuck your brains out? Only one way to find out: Escalate. If you are looking to have sex and not looking to be friends, you should be escalating. Light touches here and there. Sexual innuendos etc. It's sort of an exact science that takes some practice to get used to because the wrong touch at …

There are several correct ways to handle this but only one way to fuck it up: By showing you care too much. Not reacting will work. Rolling your eyes will work. Telling her she's childish will work. Being all like "but I really want to have sex with you" will fail you, 100% guaranteed.

The absence of attention will have a stronger effect than anything else.

The ones who you will get a yes from are the ones who are unhappy. A few times I have been given major IOIs by married women after talking to them about their relationship. Things are not going so well, my husband cheated on me etc. These women are starved for attention. They don't get it at home. They have to put on a happy face all the time for their friends, family, and co-workers. They want an escape. If they start telling you about their situation it's pretty much a green light. Personally,…

Yeah I agree. This is my approach as well. I simply tell the girl I'm not going to waste my time if she doesn't know what she wants. Definitely a good idea to form hard boundaries. Also agree with your last paragraph. I think both of our strategies are effective, just different. I do find that opening myself up by displaying insecurities from time to time can get problematic. Don't really like this cliche but "give a woman an inch and she'll take a mile". So I find myself playing a lot of defens…

This is a great post. Thank you for sharing your experience. I just want to solidify a point that has already made by OP as well as other commenters: Drugs are not the cure. Drugs (like Ativan, Propanolol and Marijuana) are effective for managing anxiety. But their effects last only as long as their half-lives. They should be used sparingly to manage extreme episodes and as a bridge to more permanent solutions. Some things to look into for "curing" anxiety would be meditation, mindfulness (under…

This is absolutely true. Women are much more likely to attempt suicide than men. Men are much more likely to succeed. The thing you see most commonly in the ER is superficial cutting. Often times not even anywhere near major arteries. Upper forearm, inner thighs etc. Very superficial. Like cat scratches. They'll talk about taking walks to the train station, thinking about it but never doing it. Men will jump off bridges, blow their brains out, hang themselves etc. Men don't normally do it for va…

As an aside there’s a point to note here for all the guys who think you need to control a woman’s contact with her ex: you’re idiots. You can’t control people’s behaviour. But by trying to control it you project epic insecurity. Ask yourself what is it that makes you feel so threatened and insignificant by a woman getting attention from another man? I don't think this is idiocy. It's pretty reasonable if you want to have a LTR. I'm not going to be waste my time with a girl who is still unsure of…

You made the right choice IMO. Giving a cheater a second chance is inviting it to happen again. Once that boundary has been crossed, there is a high probability it will happen again if the circumstances are right.

Yeah I guess that's the problem. They should make some kind of special child support card that only works on purchases that are DEFINITELY for the kid. I.E women's clothing, jewelry etc. should be completely exempt

Do women really get prizes though ? From my understanding divorce is just an expensive mess with lawyer fees and such. Yeah she gets half your stuff but if she has a similar paying job isn't it kind of equal? And I mean child support... that kind of makes sense. I'd want my kid to have money to pay for essential stuff. Definitely if she makes way less it's a raw deal, though.

This is extremely true though. If you are good looking, many times girls will laugh even if your material is complete shit. I'm pretty average looking, but funny. Sometimes girls will interrupt me mid-sentence to talk to a hotter guy and laugh at whatever mindless BS is coming out of his mouth. I'm not bitter about it at all. I have my own ways of bagging hotties. But it's so so true.

Precisely why I believe in treating women, fundamentally, like shit. I mean I think the key lesson here is just not to waste resources on them. You don't have to treat them like shit... thats besides the point.

I've found emojis to be kind of helpful at building rapport, actually. They just need to be used properly. Text her eggplant water donut and stuff when you feel like messing around. They love it.

That's true about Indian men, seems to be more about their personality than anything else. I'm a Caucasian who has dated a few Indian women. They all complain about how the men don't know how to treat women. And sadly, it seems to be that they collectively apply that theory to all Indian men and judge them preemptively before even giving them a shot. The betas essentially ruin it for the rest of them.
