Can we get a summary? It's 20 minutes of reality TV that I'd normally avoid

Yeah, everyone shut up, this guy is clearly right - this shows just how much we care about teeth over here in britain. Just like this pic shows how much they care about teeth in america!

Listing a definition of alpha really doesn't do anything at all to detract from his point of people having different definitions on what it is.

Her demeanor was that of a feminist? I think I'd say her demeanor is closer to that of someone drugged up to their eyeballs.

Tbh, I will say the one recording it sounded a bit like they had a "you don't get to do that" feel to them, but aside from that, yeah. Everything you say is spot on.

Police didn't see that part, though.

Odd that the two stories seem so detached, though. If the hit and run victim lost his legs, and the guy robbed at a gas station makes no mention of a wheelchair, they're probably different people. Not sure what to think.

He's not reading into it. He's reading it. That's what you actually wrote; that men are the standard to compare women to for manipulation (and are generally worse) What you wrote now makes a bit more sense, yeah. Women and men both have the same capacity to be manipulative. Not sure why we started comparing how manipulative women and men are in the first place, but hey, whatever.

Well, to that I say.. if this happens over a long period of time, that's coercion. It doesn't seem to have gotten to that point yet, though - Smart guy has gone to the police, and she's been charged with a few things.

Perhaps, but that assumes that she warned him she would attack if he didn't. The impression I got was more that he said no and she just started attacking him. I guess we don't know that, though

Isn't coercing more to do with provoking a response, rather than being a response? eg: I want to coerce you into doing something for me. I'm going to take actions that will lead you into doing that. As opposed to: You don't do what I want, so I lash out without warning. That isn't coercing so much as it is assault. That being said, this would probably have been a different charge if it had been a female victim.. but yeah.

You appear to be confused. You're responding as if he agrees with this feminist theory; I think he is more just pointing out that this ridiculous theory exists.

That's true, but there are terrible people on both sides, even if women are given more opportunity

Ok, but everything you're saying could just as easily apply to a woman talking about a man. Your argument is against people who suck at handling child support, not women.

Alright.. but odds of women and men getting child support is separate to the odds of them wasting the child support. Lets say you have 100 men and 900 women getting child support. Now lets say 50 men and 450 women waste it. Half the men, half the women, are getting it. Are we going to claim that the problem is with women? Statistics show women are more likely to recieve child support. Please show me the stats showing women are more likely to waste child support. Because again, this is a problem …
/r/MensRights27/12/12 08:05 PM

Well, that sucks. Perhaps things are worse where you live than where I am, because to me, this is a criticism of child support collectors, not men or women. I'm sure there are men who squander child support as well, not just women. The point is, this is an precaution shamefully needed because of people being terrible, not just men or women. Women recieving it more often might be a men's rights issue. People who recieve it wasting it is not. That's just a general failure of people. I'd bet the % …
/r/MensRights27/12/12 07:55 PM

Ok.. and again, what part of this distinguishes between men and women?

Uh.. so what's the difference of men and women with regards to this picture? Maybe I'm missing something here, but I don't see anything in the picture that targets one unfairly.
/r/MensRights27/12/12 06:23 PM

Well, it is in the Men's Right's subreddit, so I don't think you're far off here. What part of this involves men's rights?

Playing devil's advocate here, your initial statement contrasts with your overall view on this matter. If they punished false rape accusers, it wouldn't make real rape victims be taken more seriously. Not punishing them doesn't make real rape victims get taken more seriously, either; the people reporting it falsely make them get taken less seriously, not the punishment. They aren't going to be afraid of coming forward because people falsely report without consequence. That just doesn't make sens…
