I think you need to quit thinking so goddamn much. How does this help you, exactly? throw it out, move on.

I recently watched some young comedienne on Netflix, I wondered how long it would take before she told jokes about giving blowjobs. 3 minutes... I do like Maria Bamford and Kathleen Madigan though

You ought to consider some kind of meditation to become aware of thoughts and thought patterns as well as bewaring of breathing easier and more fully with less tension in your gut

Told her I would require chocolates for V-day. She told me I was confused about how this works. I said "Oh you're right, it's chocolates AND flowers!" She asked me to come over. Said she likes that I don't communicate excessively. I tore her pants off after a little making out. "Oh, those are coming off already?" She drags me to the bedroom. Tells me to quit teasing her, and then about 30 seconds later says that maybe we shouldnt have sex. Ignore this. Insert Tab A to Slot B.

Deadlift is awesome. It will hit tons of muscles... not just back and hamstrings. Core, arms (dont tear a bicep), grip strength, neck etc etc. Starting deadlifts made my traps huge. Start very light, watch Rippetoes videos on form, try to have your form checked - you might have to drop into a "barbell club" to find someone who knows what they're talking about

Are you using mixed grip? It's way easier. I work with my hands and also rock climb, though... so my grip mighy be a little above average

"Bright boys, on the other hand, saw the difficult material as a challenge, and found it energizing. They were more likely to redouble their efforts, rather than give up." Check your effort, shitlord!

The brain matures beyond teenage years, of course. Perhaps that coupled with a refined/renewed focus (maybe due to your hormonal system settling in a bit?) allowed for easier learning and sucess. In some ways I find it easier to learn now, at 30. My brain is probably fully mature and I have calmed down what used to be a lot of "mind chatter".

"After pointing out that even in 2011 Norway, virtually all nurses are women and most every engineer is a man, comedian-turned-documentarian Harald Eia interviewed various “experts” about the phenomenon. He then learned of research indicating a strong biological basis for sex-specific job preference."

If you find yourself feeling down, find something productive to do. Go for a walk. Turn on some of your favorite music. Become aware of negative thought patterns. Read a book you've been meaning to get to. Cook some healthy tasty food.

Yeah it's not really about you. I don't see much to discuss. Rebuild yourself and move on. As has been pointed out, its as much about the white knight apologists. Good luck moving forward.

Single men are, on the whole, as likely to want to get married as single women, the survey found. They are more likely than women to be open to dating people of a different race or religion, more prone to falling in love at first sight, more eager to combine bank accounts sooner and more likely to want children. Uh oh, just realized how bad my case is - slightly tongue-in-cheek Edit: Also interesting how men in this study are more "tolerant" of other races and religions

very sorry there fella. this is a crushing story. try to stay positive and be the best man you can be that your daughter may know what a good person looks like; maybe she'll be able to recognize it later in life in a significant other. try not to get a chip on your shoulder that could turn into a boulder and crush you. remember who you are and pay no mind to people who want to assume the worst about you. i wish i had real, practical advice

“Was he bendy?” asks one of the women. “He was very bendy and dirty,” she replies, with a filthy smirk. Just curious here about the word "bendy" in the UK.... does it mean "horny" as my research suggests?

Very wise about setting a precedence of subsidy. More men need to understand that. I really like the "refuse to give her money" in lieu of feminism. Thanks for sharing - very sorry about your misfortune

The researchers found the men recalled “significantly more information watching the unsexualized anchor deliver news than her sexualized version.” For women, the opposite was true, but the effect was far less pronounced. So women are less inclined to recall information if it is coming from an un-sexy woman. I'd really like to see more on this.
