The problem is, real life genuine true feminism could (should?) basically be renamed gender equality-ism. I'm all for that. Most people are all for that. It's correct to be all for that and nobody could possibly disagree. The problem is that even from a basic fundamental perspective, even from its name, is that its proponents tend to be focused on women's issues. It's really important to remember that stupid people have always existed, just historically their words have never had a platform to be shared. It's also important to remember that only extreme opinions are interesting, one way or the other. This means that most of the opinions you hear from "tumblrina style feminists" isn't what most normal moderate human people actually believe. I don't think we're nearly as fucked as we're being lead to believe.
