Sweater dresses are super cute and great for winter.

Ooo that’s tricky because you’ve been together for a year. So for me, I don’t mind 50/50 in the early getting to know each other stage and just talking. But once he express he wants to be exclusive, I expect him to invest a little bit more to show that he wants to commit and possibly grow towards something more long term. I’m asking him to pay my bills and rent but definitely more than 50/50. That’s not without saying that I’ll never pick up the tab. If I was like “Hey babe, do you want to try t…

When I got out, I try to smile a lot at others. Sometime you get weird looks but sometime people, especially men, appreciate it and might even strike up a conversation with you. You might be surprise who chats you up during a coffee run or while you’re walking around a book store.

Some books I recommend and that I’m currently reading is, The Surrendered Single, Fascinating Womanhood, Feminine Free and Faithful, and How to Get Hitched(and Stay Hitched). The Suzanne Venker podcast is also great.

Maybe not think too much about it and try to just enjoy your time together on the trip. If it happens, fantastic. If it doesn't you'll still have an amazing trip with a great memories. Worrying takes the joy out of everything

You got this! May I also make a recommendation for a book that might help you on your journey? I subscribe to Suzanne Venker's Patreon and I got an early release copy of her most recent book. I find the information very valuable on what to look for in a potential partner. Here's the link: https://www.amazon.com/How-Get-Hitched-Stay-Marriage-Minded/dp/1637580525

I gained weight during the lockdown and didn’t start talking to men until I got close to my pre-pandemic weight. Losing the weight gave me the boost in confidence to start up and hold conversations. In addition to the confidence boost, you’ll glow differently and that’s attractive not just to men, but people in general. If I were you, I would take a 2-3 months and get off the dating market and solely focus on yourself to get more healthy and fit. Join a gym, learn more about nutrition and exerci…

Hi there! Sorry to hear about about things not working out. But stay positive! The lessons you’ve learned in those past relationships can only enrich you as a person. As for things working out after your 30s, a couple women in my inner circle had successful, committed relationships in this age range(I’m only 28). My hairstylist broke up with her LTR ex at 32, met her current boyfriend at 33 and is now having twins close to 34. My mom got married to my dad at 33, had me at 34 and my brother at 38…

Not sure if you are into this style, but I personally love the vintage, 1950s look. Feminine and chic, but not too sexy. https://www.unique-vintage.com/

Maybe define what you want out of a relationship(marriage, kids, timeframe to make all that happen, etc) and see if the guys want the same things. That should be a decent filter, then move onto looks, personality, attractiveness. Hopefully that could help you out.

Gotcha. Well I typically like to get things out in the open in the beginning and talk about the direction of the relationship so neither of us waste time and feelings. I personally want to have kids in the next couple of years, so the clock is ticking. I also listen to my gut feeling about these situations. Even if you can’t explain it in the moment, when you look back later on, it saved you from something bad. You know yourself best, so reflect on how to best approach it. It’s gonna be tough gi…

I think the thing that sticks out to me is that he broke up with his girlfriend of 3 years because he wasn’t ready. My question to you, is marriage something you want for yourself? Because if it is, he might not want it according to his history. Which brings up the reasoning of continuing on with him, because if he’s not ready with her, he might not be with you. Unless, he wants his work to take off before settling down, that’s something that needs to be discussed between both of you. I personal…

Suzanne Venker covers this in her podcast. Definitely worth a listen and it changed my mind on the aspect.

To share something I learned recently, I believe some men do vet the women they are dating. This could be an exception to the rule but this YouTube video was the first time I heard a man breakdown what he looks for in a woman. Just another perspective. I’m not saying this is the case all the time. https://youtu.be/kIxzBNqHtoA

I would definitely support. It would be so refreshing compared to the garbage lies the current culture spews out.

I’ve been listening to this podcast for the past few months and I really enjoy it. Suzanne discuss a lot of topics from relationships, femininity, motherhood, etc. that goes against the mainstream narrative. She also brings on guests that talks about their own life and research. Really great stuff to listen to and thought provoking as well.

I recommend trying a spin class (indoor cycling) if they have that at your gym. It's a great form of cardio and low impact on the knees. It was great for me because I messed up my knees from playing tennis for years during my teens. Been doing spin as my cardio supplement since 2017.

As a former masculine female who used to be a heavy drinker and joke about raunchy topics, I can say I was doing it to mask my lack of internal development and avoiding my problems of identity crisis. I did it to be accepted as one of the guys. I fell into the feminism mindset and it really messed me up internally where I felt I had to overcompensate externally. It wasn’t until a health scare end of last year that I realized I was living a life society expected instead of what I wanted. It wasn’…

Hi there fellow late bloomer! I’m 27 and turning 28 in July too. My story is a little different from yours but I also came to realize last year that the life I was living left me unfulfilled and miserable. I was one of those trying to climb the corporate ladder and I realized none of it made me happy. Both the pandemic and a health scare triggered a come to God moment end of 2020. This event lead me on a journey to quit drinking, become more devout in my faith and rediscover my suppressed femini…
