I'm not convinced the pay gap is actually an issue we can do much about, and am not sure what you were trying to say there. These aren't necessarily gender roles, but familial roles. Would you say there's a majority of women who are are okay with their husband being a stay at home dad, thus requiring them to go out and work for all the families finances? (A school that is teaching their students about 'gender equality' and 'socially ingrained misogyny') I'd argue that men haven't gone into traditionally lower paying jobs because we can't afford to. We know that we need to at least be able to provide for ourselves our whole life, and may need to provide for more than that. The reason women traditionally filled those roles is because there was usually a man that provided the majority of financial pie for the family.
