Who said someone is hung up on a number? I generally don’t care about the number of men a women has slept with as much as the context around who she has sex with. For example; Girl 1; 30 years old had 10 sexual partners, 4 were LTRs, the others were all under the pretense of exploring the idea of a relationship with another person. She’s never had a one night stand. Girl 2; 30 years old had 10 sexual partners. 1 was an LTR, 3 were under the pretense of exploring the idea of a relationship. 6 wer…

Really because this says women cheat at a 25% rate, men a 9% rate. The survey is from 2018 and has an n of 3000. Where is your data from? https://www.yourtango.com/201172881/women-more-likely-cheat-men-heres-why

Add these two and you’re on to something. No drug use Had constructive hobbies, think the gym, volunteering at an animal shelter, reading etc.

The vast majority of women who marry will have to choose; Guy with a great gene pool that they desire. Guy who is great provider. Unfortunately for women the amount of men who check both boxes is rare and the competition for them is fierce.

I understand that, but then are you required to pay her 10k in a lump sum or is it like monthly payments? Because just because the equity increased doesn’t mean someone necessarily has the liquid cash on hand to pay that out.

Better analogy. You wouldn’t buy a used car without a car fax. You wouldn’t close on a home without an inspector. You wouldn’t hire an employee without references/background check. A relationship is an investment just like a car, house, or an employee.

Maybe it’s my confirmation bias then. I’m not going to to law school, I’m 28 and been out of Pharmacy School for 4 years and just got promoted to $165k from $140k. I was dating a girl who was an associate attorney at a big firm, making $165k entry level, she went to law school at Drexel. That’s a top 100 school but far from Yale.

No, men in the manosphere want a wife married to them, not married to her career. A career woman is someone who consistently is working more than 40 hour weeks. Think investment banker, management consultant, physician, lawyer etc.

Who said you’re a bad person for wanting to be noticed? I said I find the behavior unattractive. I’m not talking about “wanting to be noticed”. There’s a difference between taking care of yourself because you “want to be noticed”, that’s a good thing. I’m talking more about women who can’t put their phone down and are constantly posting snap/gram/tik tok stories.

I hypothesize it’s a biological reaction. Attraction isn’t negotiable and there are certain things that will make my attraction to a woman disappear instantaneously. I would not want a woman who’s a virgin or < 2 partners. Why? Because what if one day she has fomo and can’t really be sure what to think of my sexual performance. Even if I knock her socks off how does she really know I knock her socks off if she only has one partner to compare me to? Maybe someone can do even better than me. To me the sweet spot for a women (let’s assume 30 years old) is 5-7 partners prior to me. That tells me a couple things. She rejects “hook up culture”. She likely has had …

Most of the casual sex types smoke weed. That's honestly the common denominator. Most of them are selfish and not religious. A lot of them like the nightlife. They're probably smarter than average. They're usually liberals. My boys and I have coined the term “The 4 pillars of promiscuity”. The more unstable her home environment, the more likely she’s a slut. And no one is forcing women to take shit jobs that pay less, but they do it anyway. Then they blame “the patriarchy”. I agree that both these things are a product of people’s choices, male workplace deaths and the “wage gap”. The difference is one of these issues is completely ignored (maybe deservingly so since it’s a result of choice), the other gets paraded to the front of the room and prioritized unnecessarily.

The idea that marriage is good for kids is an oversimplification. It’s not marriage but the dual parent household that is essential for kids, being married makes it more likely your children are growing up in a dual parent household. But you can live together and raise a nuclear family without being married.

Got a bad case of wandering eye? You're in good company — a survey of 3000 people found that women are more likely to cheat than men. The 2018 poll, taken by British dating firm Coffee & Company, showed that while 9 percent of men were certain they'd be unfaithful if they fell for somebody else, a whopping 25 percent of female respondents said they would definitely have an affair if an outsider piqued their interest. I played hockey collegiately. So my hobbies are the gym, hockey (ice and roller). I’d also like to get into photography and I’m a big electronic music fan so I’d love to pick up DJing but I’ve got a limited amount of time because of my corporate job and other hobbies. I think I’ll be able to pick up photography soon because I’d assume is pretty easy to start. I’m on a plane 8 days a month for work. There’s also an additional avenue to this. For example, I’m 6’3 225 lbs and conventionally attractive. The odds are real good if I have kids, my son is going to be desirable. This right here. Women have legitimately zero self-awareness when it comes to stuff like strength and athleticism. Just look at the women’s sports narrative in the US currently. Whether it’s the USWNT, the WNBA, Women’s collegiate sports, etc. They’re all clamoring for more investment, more compensation. People invest to make money, nobody invests in a product that sucks. Living separately in the same house isn’t for everyone. Sometimes, things go down a little differently. I’ve heard of this happening a number of different ways, but the bottom line is that, sometimes, husbands kick their wives out of the marital home. Can they do that? No! Legally, it’s her home, too—even if it’s only his name on the mortgage, deed, or lease. It doesn’t matter whether you rent or own, your spouse can’t just kick you out of the marital residence. I live in NYC, in Hell’s Kitchen to be exact. I have 1 job and a 800 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment to myself. I grew up in philly, you can literally get a 1 bedroom in Northern Liberties (nicer neighborhood with a lot of young people) for $1500 a month. but do you think a normal woman as a single mother (that isn't overbearing and hyper-aggressive) can raise a decent son? I think it depends. If the single mother has a brother(s) and a father in which they have strong relationships with and are actively involved in her sons life I think the kid will be fine. But let’s say a single mom who’s mother was a single mom? Or a single mom who’s father passed away. Yea that little boy is fucked. Having a father is ideal, but even that in itself may not b…

It's all about the lack of father in the home. No it’s more complicated than that, it’s about overbearing mothers. Now you can argue it’s a fathers role to lead and make sure his wife doesn’t become an overbearing mother and allows his son to become self-sufficient. But women could also avoid doing this altogether.

Nope this has to do with parenting. Ironic that FDS thinks this is the fault of fathers, fathers play a role in this, but’s it’s actually the fault of over-bearing mothers. I watched this unfold a couple years ago when I in a shore house for the summer. I had a friend who was 25 and a complete retard. Within 6 weeks the entire house (4 guys, 2 girls) hated him. Fair criticism, the gym is filled with weekend warriors that don’t actually know how to lift. I was fortunate enough to be taught proper programming and mobility because of sports. I met my current FWB (fine ass Puerto Rican girl) at the gym, she walked up to me and asked me how many sets I had left in the safety rack. Then she watched me squat 455 x6 ass to grass for my last set. Now she comes to my apartment to get that pussy worked out weekly. Squat and deadlift kings.

Let’s start with the obvious. Every man should be having an in-depth conversation about a prospective partners sexual history. Any girl can just make a number up, ask a girl about. When they lost their virginity, did they date this person, and go from there. You literally want her to walk you through every guy she’s slept with. For example, a girl lost her virginity at 16 to her first boyfriend, this is what you should be asking; How and why did this relationship end? How quickly did she see som…

Yes, like the parent comment states the people in this sub generally are talking about low body count women, not virgins. I wouldn’t want anything to do with a virgin. And it’s not 50/50 if I bring home 75% of the disposable income. But if I bring in 75% of the disposable income and you do 75% of the unpaid work that’s about a close as you’re going to get to 50/50 with out 50/50 incomes.

And if one of the partners earns more, has more free time and doesn't want to do more domestic chores, they can hire a helper. And if we consolidated our finances because we’re married and I make 75% of the money who’s actually paying for the helper? All in all, I can't imagine making my partner do more around the house just because I earn more. If the difference in earning is that much, I'd prefer investing in my partner's skills/education to help them to get there as well. It can be both. My l…

That’s the plan. I clearly state in my first comment that I will only marry if I find a woman worth investing in. And if a woman doesn’t want to approach our relationship like it’s a 50/50 partnership, she’s not worthy of investing in.

It's really not a waste of money, it's like £15 an hour max. You're making 150k, don't be so cheap. No one likes doing household chores. $17.75 an hour x 2 hours a week x 18 years = $33,228. I’m not cheap, I’m sensible. That $33,228 could be 2 years of college tuition in some states. So we’re going to hamstring our children all because you’re too lazy to spend a couple hours a week cleaning a bathroom and running a vacuum? How selfish are you? Are you trying to punish your wife for having a lowe…

I want to be seen as equal to my partner and if he looks down on me because I earn less I wouldn’t feel equal So you want to be treated as an equal even though you contribute less than your partner. Feminism in a nutshell.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/20 01:02 AM
2

So we’re going to waste money because my partner doesn’t want to carry their weight in the relationship? I don’t think so. You realize there’s also more unpaid labor involved in cohabitation/raising kids than cleaning right? Are we also going to hire a nanny, a tutor, landscapers? A chef? And who’s going to pay for all that?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/11/20 12:25 AM

Maybe they don’t work harder at work. But they did work harder to get into that position than they’re lesser earning partner did to get into their own role.

It’s plenty fair and logical. What isn’t fair or logical is someone providing 75% of the disposable for a couple without their partner compensating for that.

I would quit my job and do 100% of house keeping that’s way less work for me And if you were my wife you would be divorced because it’s 2020, women are expected to work, I’m not here to finance you’re life.

This is interesting. To me to truly by partners finances need to be considered. For example, I’m a PharmD and work in drug development. I make ~150k a year. If I meet a women that I deem worthy of investing in I will go down the marriage path. But we will sit down and list all the unpaid labor involved with cohabitation. If they make less than me they will compensate with carrying more of the unpaid labor burden. So for example, if my potential partner makes ~50k a year, I would be responsible f…

So generally I let the girl initiate “The Talk”. It’s just easier because it does two things; It allows her to show initiative/ambition which is a quality I’m looking for. It also tells me I’m at the top of the food chain among the men she may be currently talking to. I’ve noticed it happens usually (my experience) at the 5-6 week mark. Yea this post is retarded. OP is more blackpill than red. A girl who gets out of a relationship, fucks ~10 guys over the next 3/4 years until she finds her next boyfriend isn’t a carousel rider let alone the girl OP cites. A carousel rider is a girl who fucks like ~110 dudes between boyfriends. The girl OP cites is actually a girl that may be LTR material. Of course this assumes the girl isn’t branch swinging.

I don’t agree entirely, NPD involves some very blue pilled characteristics. For example, some of the hallmark characteristics of someone with NPD include: Regardless of circumstance, always being the victim/martyr. The absolute inability to handle any criticism or complete any type of self-reflection. Always being the victim, and having zero ability to look in the mirror and self reflect are two characteristics that are about as blue pilled as it gets.

Two things I wish I would have known freshman year; Try and surround yourself with the best and brightest on campus. This entails both students and professors. You're going to learn a lot more from those people than the frat boy whose in school to party on daddy's dime. You need to start building a resume immediately. Try to build a relationship with the aforementioned professors so you can do research with them. Go volunteer. Internships as a rising junior are difficult to come by. I spent my f…

I appreciate your feedback and you're not wrong. If I could go back to freshman year I would have chosen chemical or electrical engineering. But I'm going to be okay. I spent last summer interning at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies on the planet. I'm spending this summer interning at a tier 2 management consulting firm.

If you're not getting any pussy it isn't because you're an engineering student. Your biggest challenge is going to be balancing social life with coursework. I'm biomedical engineering 2018 at a large state university. I definitely haven't gone out as much as a lot of my non-stem friends. But that's fine because most of my non-stem friends will be unemployed/underemployed and moving back in with their parents come graduation. While I'll have my pick of the litter regarding employment.

I grew up with an Ndad, shit fucked me up. Find yourself a good therapist that has experience in emotional child abuse. It might not hurt to look around for a support group you can participate in. Had I never done those things I would be a very different person today, in a bad way.

I concur with this much more than op. Everyone women has the ability to cheat, but if they cheat it's cause your doing something wrong. A friend of mine (now more like an ex friend), a good looking dude but all he does is bitch and moan about how there's "no good girls bro". Meanwhile he is 25 and he has never had any academic success just got fired from his bullshit job making $12 an hour for stealing from his boss.

Like others are saying this is nearly impossible for someone other than yourself to answer. Unfortunately, due to the fact that almost everyone today has one, there are certainly more useless undergraduate degrees than there are useful ones. I would make the argument that university is more important than major. I know people who majored in theater or (insert other useless major here) at top 30 universities and are working at some of the most selective companies on the planet. And straight out o…

Follow your friends who are in the states pursing higher education. You have a BS from a good school in India. Start studying for the gmat and look to apply to MBA programs in the states. If you do that there is no reason why you can't get in the door at Mck, BCG, Bain, Goldman etc. just like some of your friends.

No Trump is a moron who can't even formulate an intellectual thought. Here's the problem with Trump. There is nothing alpha about playing the victim all the time, that's needy and pathetic. Having an IDGAF attitude is a good thing, do you. But it's not an IDGAF attitude when every chance you get you take the opportunity to whine about how unfairly you're being treated. This is never okay. Especially when you aren't being treated unfairly.

You should start by finding the employment ad. The ad will feature the characteristics the company is looking for in potential candidates. Then cater your responses to fit that mold. For example, if the employment ad says "We're looking for someone with the ability to manage multiple projects at one time." Have stories ready that exemplify your ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time. Use experiences from school, internships, past employment etc. References are meaningless i…

STAR responses in a job interview. Make sure the responses highlight that you possess the skill set the employer is looking for in the employment ad. If you don't know anything about MechE what position are you applying for?

Might be a reasonable expectation might not be. Need more details. You graduated already with a bachelors in business?

That's not true at all. Some of the most desirable companies on the planet (Goldman, McKinsey etc.) hire just as many (if not more) candidates out of undergraduate as they do out of MBA programs. And if you get in the door (maybe this is what you meant) all of these companies are structured that after two or three years you'll go back to school and get an MBA that the company pays for.

I don't know where you're at but if you're in the US there is currently a huge labor shortage regarding skilled tradesman; Hvac, electrician, plumbers etc. If that doesn't interest you and you decide to go the route of university; engineering or computer science. These majors are extremely quantitatively challenging and time consuming but worth it. There are a ton of well paying major-related options in these fields. Additionally, some of the most desirable positions in "business"; management co…
