Of course they get paid less if less people buy tickets to see them play. Women athletes actually get a higher percentage of the profit than men.

Males most definitely have an advantage in that sport. There's a reason why all table tennis players at the top are male. You need to be very fast in table tennis and men are biologicaly faster. Same reason why a skinny build is better for table tennis so you can move faster.
