I feel like if your daughter is 17, just keep her at your house and tell your ex she doesn’t want to live with him any more. By the time he gets a lawyer, goes to court, and the court orders anything around this, she’ll probably be 18. Plus, there’s a good chance the judge won’t even take the case because she’s so close to 18. Whatever happens, keep her the hell away from that half sibling. You’re a good mom for protecting her!!!

I don’t think people will be able to do that if you block and delete them.

Agree with you guys! I read the book, thought she has good intentions and some great insights, but it was a little preachy to me as a single woman. Especially in her writings about relationships. “I used to pretend my marriage was sooo great even though it wasn’t, but now I’m in a new marriage with a woman and it’s sooooo great.” Um.... ok? How about finding yourself .... by yourself?

Can confirm! After years of treatments, my acne made a huge improvement after implementing daily meditation. I still do all the maintenance though, and semi regular chemical peels. I’m not taking anything for granted!

So weird! I matched w a dude on an app who wanted to text all day long, but would only talk about super shallow topics. Red flag. I started asking him questions about his life that I felt were “impolite” but also... c’mon, let’s get to actually know each other. Turns out he was avoiding talking about his ex wife and 3 children who also live in Europe (we are in the US). And to get that info I had to pry SO HARD. Didn’t tell me he had kids, went out of his way to avoid telling me how many kids, a…

Yeah, that’s how I took it. Not an FDS HVM, but just someone who is a “catch” by the standards of society.

The guy picked me up (good start!) then parked in a residential neighborhood near the restaurant so he wouldn’t have to pay for street or valet parking. Then in the (long) walk to the restaurant, he admitted he was lost and had no idea how to get there. Instead of using the maps on his phone, he called his cousin to ask. We ended up going somewhere else instead, because that other restaurant was really far. I tried ordering what I wanted, and he wouldn’t let me. He got some like combo platter an…

Omg the toilet paper!!!! I knew a couple who looked so happy on the outside, but I knew there was a problem bc their bathroom always had the TP like this. Not on the roll but sitting on top of it. Now they’re divorced and I just went over her place, and the TP is back to normal!!!

1 tip - buy tissues. The good brand-name kind. The cost will pay off in dividends. Toilet paper and cheap tissues will scratch up your face. 2 - change the photo on your phone to a pic that makes you really happy - a cute pet, a funny meme, whatever. Because when you look at your phone to see if someone has called or texted, and nobody has, you’ll have that cute little image looking back at you and making you happy. 3 - sleep. 4 - This period of time will suck balls and then, at some point you w…

I dated this one guy for a couple of months, he slept over once and my dog peed on the floor and chewed off his shoe laces!! She’s never done that before or after. I mailed him some new shoelaces. 😆

I was thinking this too, it seems like he’s missing a part of his brain. I’ve seen similar screenshots on other subs. Can’t believe so many people act like this!!!!

I already gave one HVM comment about a good friend, but really had to think about this for several days. My exes are all exes for a reason, but they weren’t all LVM (or at least not all the time). If they were degenerates, I wouldn’t have dated them for so long. One ex I had booked flights for us to go to a wedding. He was my guest and he had offered to pay for his flight, but since I was the one inviting him I decided to pay. We broke up before the wedding and he Venmo’d me the $ for the flight…

My HVM is my gay best friend and former roommate. I was working crazy hours at a desk in a big office filled with people and no privacy, and needed to make a gyno appointment, but I was embarrassed to call while at work. So he called and pretended to be me and made the appointment for me. That’s a HVM in my eyes.

If he has low self esteem and you date him, he’s going to hate you just like he hates himself.

Every time I felt that something wasn’t right in a relationship, but wasn’t able to point out exactly what it was, and brought up to the dude I was dating, and he made me feel like I was totally crazy and pretended that nothing was wrong.... I was absolutely onto something. Every 👏 friggin 👏 time 👏

It’s kind of manipulative. “Other men won’t want you, but I do.” F off.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
