The amount of people that are commenting without any clue of who this professor is and how he justifies this position is just too damn high. This is such a low info circle jerk and that doesn’t seem to bother anyone.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but if an “influencer” could legitimately draw attention to a business, then it would be worth it tl comp them their service. So the reply is a bit heavy-handed, IMO. The problem is having the audacity to think that you’re actually influential enough to make it worth any business’s time or money.

Um. What? Following your logic “STOP” is an act of aggression against men too because it’s on a sign.

It’s not like Spanish is some uncommon language. How did it I have to scroll this far to find this comment?

I get setting the anchor and all, but talking out loud about the possibility of going out through multiple seasons within minutes of meeting someone seems borderline creepy. Everything else was impressive!

Is that an injustice, though? That seems more like a result of the "less comfortable working conditions."

Could someone give some examples of what the "more workplace injustices" refers to? Thanks!

Please. To lump the feminists of the 20's to the feminists of today is ludicrous, man. Feminists of the 20's were fighting for civil liberties, today they've twisted that message to incomprehensibility.

Here's the problem with that logic. Anti-prostitution legislation and criminalization of hooking existed long before the feminist movement... How is this not just enforcing the laws and an easy way for NYC to collect some extra change on the drunk partiers people that will be running around their city because of the Super Bowl...?

So you're blaming feminism for this?

Wow. What a really sad interpretation of a social phenomenon. Most strikingly, check out this author's bio... She's clearly not dumb at all: "Arianne Shahvisi is joining the department of philosophy as an assistant professor. She has research interests in the philosophy of science and metaphysics, and will be teaching a new course in the philosophy of physics. She studied for a masters in astrophysics from the University of Cambridge, a masters in philosophy from the University of Oxford, and re…
