I don't believe turning the mirror on ourselves is a bad thing. Change will never happen without some introspection.

Why are all of these posts focused on men in the Ukraine being snatched up? Men in Russia are being conscripted at the same rate. Just feels weird. These are all so focused on Ukraine

Im 51. Been through a lot of life so far. Anyone that tries to tell you what a real man is is full of shit and probably trying to sell you something. Guys, just do you and don't get so caught up in this "real man" bullshit. Super unhealthy

I'm very supportive of my friends. Hug my friends. Had a coworker cry to me for an hour last month. We're not even that close. I guess it depends on your social circle

Offering common sense advise is now victim blaming.
/r/MensRights21/03/15 10:19 PM

There are exceptions. Any crime that involves harming another person is OK to incarcerate at current levels. What bothers me is jail time for being poor or victimless crimes. Can't pay tickets or child support? Jail. Have a joint? Jail. It's complete idiocy.
/r/MensRights19/03/15 09:45 PM

My main issue with this is not that I want to see women go to jail for longer. I think sentences need to be reduced for men to the level that women have enjoyed. We incarcerate people way too long in the US. Baby steps, I suppose.

The moral is that you almost got killed for something that had nothing to do with you. I think many of us have been there. I have something similar to relay to you. I was 22 leaving a college bar when I notice a couple arguing. She's screaming and he just slaps the shit out of her and she falls down crying. I was in my 3rd year of taking Judo so I was on him pretty quick and threw him down. The girl he just hit starts hitting ME! Last time I'll intervene.

Thank you for that. She's really fucked her life up and I'm hearing all of this third hand so she's not playing any games. I'm just tired of the sympathy I feel followed by the desire to swoop in and save the day. I'm done with her. I know this. Doesn't stop the thoughts unfortunately. We work in neighboring offices and work with many of the same people so conversations regarding her are nearly endless. edit: I have seen that video before. It's terrifying. I feel lucky my ex left on her own.

Many men in journalism are afraid of being labelled a rape apologist or at the very least misogynistic. It's easier for these level headed female journalists to take the lead. Pretty well written piece.

I agree wholeheartedly. It was a manipulation from the beginning. She just wrapped it in a nicer package at the start. The BPD could have been treatable and I tried many times to get her to see a new doctor. Her old doctor was terrible and never tried to balance her meds or give her new ones and that led to her self medicating. Ultimately, she is responsible for the mess.

My ex was a wonderful person that spoiled me in sex and gifts prior to the marriage. A week after our vows she tells me she has 2 kids living with her ex. I'm upset but have no worries because I love kids. 3 years later her bi polar disorder kicks in and she begins self medicating with alcohol and pot. Her wonderful personality disappears and she begins lying and manipulating everyone around her. I spend the last 3 years of my marriage walking on egg shells. Don't ever believe that they don't ch…

A female writer actually called this rape! Hopefully this starts the trend.
/r/MensRights29/01/15 11:41 PM

A woman lies to a woman about being gang raped and the other woman writes an article based on said lie. A woman school president joins in with the other women in outrage and bans fraternities. When woman liar and woman writer are both found to be unethical, men must kowtow to get frats back. More women ban women from going to frats on drunken binges. The problem? Men. Is there something I'm not understanding? edit my terrible spelling.
/r/MensRights29/01/15 11:21 PM

Arousal does not equal consent. Just because you have an erection does not mean you're enjoying what's happening. Saying that an erection equals consent is the equivalent of a woman getting wet during a rape and saying that that is consent. There are many accounts of women having orgasms during rape but that doesn't mean consent either. If erections were controlled by mens minds then some wouldn't need Viagra.

Chokes restrict bloodflow by cutting blood to the brain through the carotid artery. Strangles deprived air to the lungs. It's very possible to be choked (bloodflow to the brain cut off) and still be able to breathe. However, in this case she needed to be choked out and it would have been easier for her to just wake up in the back seat.

He wasn't contributing to the US society and needed to be put down. Kinda like a lame plow horse. That's the attitude that most people have regarding the homeless. The guy was mentally ill and should have been receiving help, not flash bangs, bean bags and bullets. We wouldn't put down people with HIV or cancer, why do some see this as acceptable.

I'm circumcised and I've never really had an issue with it but it would have been nice to have been given the choice. I'm all about consent and my body was permanently altered without my consent at just a couple days old.

https://www.auanet.org/about/policy-statements/circumcision.cfm The AUA is a trade group that represents Urologists. It's not an actual medical association looking out for the health and well being of people. Trade groups are all about profit.

I stayed in my marriage for 6 years after my ex was first diagnosed bipolar. It was painful to watch her disintegrate into a shell of who she was. After a while though she refused to take her prescribed meds and opted to smoke pot all day throw herself a pity party. That when I knew I had to go.
/r/MGTOW16/01/15 12:50 AM

Because a trade group that makes a profit from circumcision said so under the guise of actual medical advise.

My uncle was drafted. He was never the same man. Came back and started drinking heavily. He was definitely self medicating for PTSD which wasn't understood as well. My neighbor recently died from cancer brought on by Agent Orange. He was drafted as well.

Every indication I've seen shows she did it for attention from a guy that had friendzoned her.
/r/MensRights13/01/15 05:38 PM

It's at 93% now which makes me wonder who this article is geared toward. It appears that an overwhelming number of people, men and women, understand there are circumstances that make it OK. The first rule to not getting hit: "Keep your fucking hands to yourself." Once you break that rule, all bets are off.
/r/MensRights10/01/15 01:43 AM

I agree with most of what you said. I feel that my liberation from sexual politics has allowed me to view women purely as platonic relationships. I won't buy dinner or drinks or listen to them gripe about how shitty men are but I can work with them and remain friendly. There's no reason to be hostile and frankly it does nothing for us. It goes against the idea of removing ourselves from the game and having women wish we didn't. The goal, for me, is to be self sufficient and have resources but no…

That was my reasoning for asking that question. I didn't think it would get any attention. She responded saying it made her uncomfortable, which is the only correct way to look at it. My mother had her tubes tied 30 years ago and she didn't need her husbands permission. Hasn't the chant always been "My body, my choice?"

We've all been there, brother. You didn't do anything that every man doing MGTOW now hasn't done before. That epiphany though, it hits hard. All that wasted effort, time and resources........ BTW, this is the reason I taught my daughter to change her own tires. She's pretty amazing.
/r/MGTOW06/01/15 10:17 AM

That is possible. I thought the minor was 15 at the time but it turns out he was 17. Doesn't change the fact that if it was an adult male shoving and hitting a 17 year old female, he'd have had the book thrown at him.
/r/MensRights06/01/15 06:06 AM

That only applies to the sexual assault portion of the enhanced sentencing as far as I can tell because the age of consent is 16.
/r/MensRights06/01/15 05:52 AM

All the more reason to ditch social media. Jokes and sarcasm can be misconstrued as maliciousness. Body language and tone are such a huge part communication you can't communicate them in 140 characters.
/r/MensRights06/01/15 05:49 AM

I never claimed the sentence was out of line for the charges. I'm saying she should have been charged under the enhanced sentencing guidelines which is the law. That's the pussypass.

You're trying to identify with the left wing ideology and the fact is that unless you're a white knight mangina, you're not welcome.

/r/MensRights06/01/15 03:47 AM

At the age of 17, she is above the age of consent in almost every place on the planet. And since when is a "slave" paid? That's a contradiction.

I don't. Wish I could help.
/r/MensRights06/01/15 01:41 AM

Even with video evidence, the pussypass is in full effect.

Congratulations!!! I've been raising my step kids for 3 years since my ex bailed and it's been the most rewarding thing I've ever done. Be ready for some growing pains but they barely register against the other amazing aspects of being a dad.

If you wouldn't do it for a man, don't stoop to do it for a woman. That's equality which is something I think only MGTOW really offers.

That is precisely what she wanted. And then, while the white knight manginas were being led away in handcuffs for assault, she'd acknowledge their presence with a "Thanks, I guess." and it would all be OK for them because she is a special snowflake.
/r/MGTOW06/01/15 01:10 AM

The only real option is not to play the game and end any LTR's with women. Use that time and and resources on yourself.

Crystal Magnum filed the false rape claim in 2006 which is a misdemeanor and carries a maximum of 1 year in jail. The murder she committed was in 2011. Putting her in jail would not have helped. If you date a scumbag, shitty things will happen. It's a given.
/r/MensRights06/01/15 12:32 AM

Not once does that article call out the main villain here, Sabrina Rubin Erdely who wrote the article.
/r/MensRights05/01/15 06:31 PM

What can you do? There are laws and court and unless she's a proven danger to herself (psych ward) there's very little that can legally be done. This guy knew what he was getting himself into. It's not like her victim didn't know who she was but he wanted to get laid and ended up dead. Anyone thinking with the big head would have seen those warning signs and bailed.

I disagree since it only sought to derail the actual discussion. Nothing in the responses or his statement was related to the lawsuit and allegations but have an upvote anyway.
/r/MensRights05/01/15 06:12 PM

I use it as an idiot button and his statements about not wanting people to have representation in court qualifies.
/r/MensRights05/01/15 05:55 PM

Yeah but that bitch killed her boyfriend and got 19 years in prison.
/r/MensRights05/01/15 04:04 PM

So you don't like him because he defended a criminal? Isn't that kinda what lawyers do? Maybe they should just skip trials since that's what it sounds like you want.

No no and no! The state can force you to pay child support even if the mother never files for support but she files for some gov't assistance. There is NO way to avoid it. Think with the big head dude.

I hope this man gets everything he wants and more. Edit: Something Dershowitz brought up in the interview I found interesting. She's trying to get a book published. Nothing like free publicity. She also claims to have met Queen Elizabeth which is relevant since she claims Prince Andrew is one of the men that raped her. She claimed she had sex with Bill Clinton. She's a known prostitute. She's filed claims like this before and the DA in that case knew she was shady and refused to proceed.

I'd accept it as part of the hostile gender relations landscape and move on. Besides, the feminists already try to trash female MRA's like Karen Straughan.
/r/MensRights04/01/15 07:55 PM

Women are the mouthpeices for feminism but manginas do the real damage and need to be called out.
/r/MensRights04/01/15 08:07 AM

Hell yeah. I had a 2am BLT this morning with some left over ribs. Anarchy! Cooking is such an important skill I wish I had as positive an experience with it as you did when you were young. It's great to hear you putting time and effort into helping other men get on their feet. There are so few resources for them since everyone expects them to "pick themselves up by their bootstraps." You're doing Gods work.

Very well thought out and reasoned post. You are correct about moving from 1 woman to another and how that was a factor. I'm very guilty of it. The first day in my life I was on my own I made spaghetti. I had just moved into my apartment and realized I wasn't going to survive on frozen and fast food. I turned on youtube to learn some basics, went to the store and fired up the stove for the first time in my life. Not only was cooking not the drudgery I was promised it would, it was fun creating. …
/r/MGTOW03/01/15 10:41 PM

Ahhh, he's a mangina white knight trying to show the rest of his herd how submissive he is. Thanks for being the voice of reason.

The better question is how was she off her back long enough to file the lawsuit.
/r/MensRights03/01/15 10:14 PM

They don't care that rape is happening, they want the numbers so they can win the victim prize.

Why do you care if men remove themselves from the playing field? Is it because once we realize the vagina is not the end all, be all of life there are only downsides to having women around? I'm not doing this for other men and I'm not hurting any women so what exactly are you mad for? I'm living this right now, it's no fantasy. More and more of us are waking up every day and it terrifies you that the potential list of men to harass gets smaller and smaller.

He's still young and single. Our talk was to reinforce that that was the way to go. He' pretty much in agreement and sees there's too much downside to long term or committed relationships.

I gave my adult son this information and asked him if he would put half his life's work on the line at a casino if there was a 53% chance he would lose it and he said "Of course not." I told him this was the chance he takes with marriage.

Thank you. I only realized about 5 days ago I wasn't alone. It's been a huge validation to my supposed "unique" idea to avoid women all together. Turns out I'm not that unique and I'm really grateful to know it.

We can thanks Disney and other media for perpetuating the "Princess" stereotype. I tried to explain to my ex it was an unrealistic expectation and she couldn't see it and that's one of the moments I knew our marriage was in trouble. I luckily got my daughter away before she succumbed to that ideology.

Take the money you would put into the prerequisite 3 dates and get a prostitute. Forget the stigma and get laid if you feel it's imperative.

Growing up, my mother painted cooking as such a tiresome and brutal chore I never learned. During my marriage I resorted to eating out or frozen food. Now that I've learned to not only cook but enjoy creating my own meals, it's been a blast. Cooking for my kids is a blast and I try to pass this joy on so my kids don't have the same negative associations with cooking that I had.

My penis brings as much to sexual gratification as her vagina does. Why do I need to bring more? I recently had a female acquaintance ask me if I missed sex. I told her I enjoy sex but if I have to take more than 3 steps to the left to get laid it's not worth my time. I've had some some pretty good spank sessions if I get horny. To answer OP, yes go now. Don't wait until your life is ruined.

To build on this, as soon as a man is seen with an inclination to self preservation he's labeled a coward and framed as a villain.
