I always find it outrageous, that the concept of glycemic index is not taught or promoted. similar to the effect of omega 3 (fish oil) and its effect on the brain. there are dozens of researches that show that fish oil increases cognitive abilities and decreases the risk of dementia, depression or other brain disfunctions. i guess promoting fish oil and GI is not profitable enough to be mentioned. | 4 | Lift and Eat Right. About that second...The problem is not sugar or fructorese, it's rather the high glycemic value of the carbohydrates we eat in the western world. Processes sugars have very high values and hence boost the insulin emission in your body and keeps you craving for more carbohydrates.
