I guess this is one of the draw backs of traditional gender roles, I think they are breaking down but only slowly.

Hmm yeah. I am not sure if Red pill would work so well in a work situation. Because you try to stay in control, not concede to her demands etc... but ultimately she can pull rank on you and say that as your superior, she calls the shots. No one wants that. I think you did the right thing by keeping cool because it avoids that happening. That said, in future I think it is OK to argue your corner, but do it in a factual way, a reasoned explanation of why you made the decisions you did, not an emot…

Get a time machine and learn about how babies are made. Man up, take some personal responsibility, this is hamstering of the highest order.

I think you need to figure out if you can't deal with bad management or female management. I am in a position of authority (people above and below me, of both genders), and I have no reason to believe I am there for any reason but being fit for the job. If a man can't deal with having a woman boss, or a younger boss, that seems quite beta to me. He should upskill, get a promotion, do it himself, instead of bitching because a woman bothered to do what he didn't. Not talking about this case person…

I know I am not answering your question here, but I reckon why bother trying to fix it? You're 20, not that into her, even she has questioned things, evenif we can't be sure how sincere this was. Don't worry about serious relationships, go out and have fun, find out what you like and what you want from a woman.

Is it that you are interested in her and care for her, but don't express it how she wants, or is it that you don't really feel strongly about her? I think that is important to know. Do you want to stay with her or is there some ambivilence?

Wow, unbelievable! It's too perfect, he's a real British hero of the military (He's British in my version), and hamster-squirrel there goes and blows it for an Ay-rab! I'm sure she felt silly! She'll be OK though, he feelings are only superficial. And he will be too... something tell me Marilyn Monronicorn is waiting for a special hero just like him! So, everyone wins I suppose!

Yeah, it worked as in it kind of hurt (though I sort of figured that is just one guy's view- hamster thinking maybe, idk)... but ultimately the conversation proceded no further. I guess you're right, probably the rest of the pick up was badly done. He was kind of drunk, I would imagine that is best avoided when trying to pick up women.

I don't know, not really concerned, just unsure. I do wonder about how best to respond if I am not really interested because I don't like to be rude but I don't want to waste people's time or lead them on. And surely it would be worse if I slept with every man who showed an interest, sounds a bit like riding the cock carousel to me. I get confused about that.

Thanks for the input everyone. I agree sierrasecho, selfish as it might sound, I sort of think how would he feel if he never got to see my body? Don't think he'd be happy. But then I am sensitive to the fact he has his hang ups. I suppose he is not like a male model or anything; I love his body but maybe he feels inadequate compared to these standards. I never go on about other mens bodies or anything, so hopefully he can see it is not as if I would prefer that! Thanks for the insight FleetingWi…

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule on who should do what, but people who insist women must do all the housework seem to have overlooked that this came from a time when women worked and men didn't. It depends on the couple really. To me it makes sense to share house hold tasks in relation to skill. In a very traditonal way, this may be men doing the fixing and mending around the home, women doing the cooking and cleaning, but it might not work like that for every couple. I think both par…

This is one of the things I like most about Red Pill. While I get that their is a time and a place to offload about problems and frustrations, in life generally, maybe even relating to relationships, with close friends, I really would not like to be how some people are in relationships. That is, joking in a Mickey taking way about their partner or relationship, mentioning personal stuff, or allowing others to be critical. I try not to say anything about my SO or our relationship that I wouldn't …

I wouldn't wear it, but I don't see the harm. This is one part of red pill theory I find difficult to hold with, the 'feminine' dress thing. I just don't see why dressing in a way that a particular, seperate group of people (red pill women) find acceptable has to do with being a good partner, or attracting a man. Different men have different tastes. Some men like a more tomboyish or quirky look. If that is your man, then I don't see how dressing in Laura Ashley would help! But that is just me, I…

She didn't say anything, and I suppose her reaction could have been actually related to something else. I always find it useful, where the evidence is ambiguous, to consider that people's behaviours and reactions might not be anything to do with me at all. Maybe she finds feet a bit gross (like lots of people) so responded like that, or maybe she just as having a stressful day and was thinking about something else. I am not saying that's great customer service but it might just be something else…

Me and my SO have never fought. I think if we ever started getting into a disagreement that looked like it could escalate I would back down because I would hate to fight with him. But that's never happened because we have never disagreed on anything important. Only things where we can happily accept that we have different views- a consensus isn't always needed. I never feel angry with him, and we are both pretty easy going which helps. If there was some big issue to confront, I would try to do i…

One thing my SO does for me that I find so touching and special is simply remembering and caring about stuff I have talked about; like if I am talking about little things that happened at work, then he remembers about them long after the conversation, I find it lovely that he genuinely cares about the little things that happen in my life day to day. So I make an effort to do the same back; take an interest in the things he cares about, little pieces of information and anecdotes. If he deemed it …

I tell him he smells all good and manly; mainly just because it's true! I try to make decisions about things sometimes (not just always be like 'I dunno, whatever you want', as I think that can annoying) but avoid always imposing my view-it's a balance. I make it clear he is welcome to join me in any social thing I might be doing... but I don't insist on it. I tell him I admire him and why. The only thing I struggle with is compliments- I THINK them all the time but he gets easily embarrassed by…
