And your top posts are in queer subs about queer stuff, but we're supposed to believe your old balding ass his killing with straight women? The cat's out of the bag, bud.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/26 01:58 AM

<image> Is that why you post so much about dating gay men and transwomen?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/26 01:50 AM

I have no beef with you for being queer and autistic. I have a beef with you acting like your success dating men and transwomen is translatable to average cishet men trying to date cishet women. You're successful because your target demographic is easier, not because you're superior.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/03/26 01:45 AM

Right, your schtick is very normal

The point is that the majority of men are either finding no one, or finding someone who isn't physically attracted to them. The majority of men are not physically attractive to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 11:37 PM

At least it doesn't feel like purgatory

So is the marriage rate. Women are settling less.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 10:17 PM

They're not trying to give you hope. They still don't want a man on their level. They're simply trying to have a competition over who has it worse.

A woman feels like taking the initiative is beneath her and demands men jester for her is not "desperately lonely," is she? Sounds like she's just alone by choice. This is further supported by the fact that you think there are men who are too ugly for a woman who has never had any attention from men and has been mocked for her looks. You're really just proving my point: Most men have to jester even for the least desirable women.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 07:06 PM

Why aren't they going after the men who are on their level?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 06:02 PM

Correct, men act desperate and generally have low standards. That's the reality of the current dating economy. If we agree that's the case, what do you think is going to happen to an individual average looking man who chooses not to chase?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 05:52 PM

I think the average woman gets far far more attention the average man. Whether some women get no attention isn't relevant to the discussion. I think you're saying men should aim lower if they want to even out the power dynamic. That's not a solution that's in the interest of anyone.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 05:32 PM

If you don't acknowledge the fact that most men have to chase, Idk what further we have to discuss. That's like you saying the sky is green.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 05:23 PM

I accept your concession
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:58 PM

Again, I'm glad we can agree that men are expected to lead with money.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:57 PM

Of course, choosing to be single and sexless is always an option. That's not the point of the discussion. The point is, the options for most men are to chase ("jester"), or remain single and sexless.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:54 PM

Yes, but at the end of the day, it's setting the precedent that he's expected to contribute more financially to the relationship than she does.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:47 PM

It's signaling that he will contribute more financially to the relationship than she does.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:45 PM

The reality is men want women more than women want most men. This results in a situation where men have to earn a woman's affection while women will have men interested in them no matter how they choose to be. Some men have noticed this, and they feel like a jester.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:33 PM

You don't agree that women expect men to pay for dates, especially the first date?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:25 PM

I think the offense comes from men feeling like they have to perform while women sit back and choose the best suitor.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:22 PM

Women expect men to pay for dates to prove they have the disposable funds to spend on them i.e. they expect men to lead with money. I appreciate you agreeing with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:17 PM

Regardless of the cost, men are expected to signal provision from the first date by paying, which is leading with money.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:12 PM

I don't think the men who care only about a woman being young and hot are really good relationship candidates, either. I just think desirable people who are relationship oriented go out and find those relationships. They don't sit around waiting for women like her who only became interested in a relationship in their 40s.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:10 PM

I like to get in the mud
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:03 PM

If an activity is only fun if he's paying, fun isn't the priority.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 04:02 PM

Aren't men generally expected to lead with money regardless of whether they're trying to buy a trophy wife? Most women expect a man to pay for all their dates and contribute more to the relationship financially than she does.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 03:32 PM

The woman above is likely late 30s (I would guess 40s) at a minimum. By that point, relationship oriented people have either been happily married for years, or they're divorced and jaded.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 03:00 PM

You're pretty young, aren't you? Like early-mid 20s?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 02:46 PM

Why did she think hot, relationship oriented guys were going to wait around for her?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 02:45 PM

They're definitely going to try

Never thought about this. They do generally love napping. Butch chicks (presumably high T) seem high energy.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 03:18 AM

So you'd agree most women are with men they're not crazy about?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/03/26 12:38 AM

Most women aren't ending up with a hot or a rich man. What's the deal with that?

I think they're pretty well matched even if it was 20 years ago. A 2026 looksmatch is where the guy is better looking than the woman, and that's not the case here. I think both are pretty average. Maybe a bit below. Also, the commenters on that sub are too far gone. Even if she thinks he's objectively ugly, she clearly really likes him. I've seen it where the woman says she's with a guy for his personality, and you can see the discomfort/displeasure on her face. This is not that.

I assume they liked their partners, otherwise why be with them? They just didn't like feeling like they had to pay for their partner. If they wanted to go to a restaurant the guy couldn't afford at least his half of, they would go without their partner. If they wanted to take a vacation that was above their partner's pay grade, they'd go without him. You get the idea. Seems like you're not like that, so fair play to you. The women I've talked to who make more and are open to dating down wrt income are willing to do 50/50 at the guy's income level rather than provie 75/25 or something like that. Then she takes her extra income and buys herself all kinds of nice things. I think it's pretty natural for that to breed jealousy or resentment.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 05:08 PM
1

This is because women find the idea of providing to be repugnant. The reason you're worried about a man getting jealous is because you won't be sharing your income with him. Of course it doesn't work if you expect to co-exist in two significantly different economic classes.

I don't think you have to look like a supermodel, but women do tend to call most men ugly. I know you'll say "but it's different men they find ugly" but they the the majority seems to be able to agree on what's ugly.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 09:36 PM

So there isn't as much diversity among your friends as you thought
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 09:14 PM

Also the narrow 5% of men I’m attracted to is completely different from the 5% my friends are attracted to, there’s a pretty decent spread of ‘types’ my friends are attracted to and they’re all pretty different with fairly minimal overlap. Tall men are pretty universally appreciated, no? How can there be so little overlap among all your friends?

/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 04:40 PM

You think most men are physically attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 04:04 PM

The point is, the majority of women in this thread are acknowledging that only a small percentage of men have the potential to be attractive. They're agreeing with the "vocal minority of incel men."
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:54 PM

Yes, you should've chosen the men you actually liked in the first place instead of dating men you didn't like (and inevitably treating them like shit). There's no need to act like being ugly makes a man a bad person just because you feel guilty about being shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:48 PM

Are most of the women in this thread incels too?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:14 PM

If you liked men who weren't conventionally attractive, you'd continue to be open to one who is well-adjusted. In reality, you only ever wanted conventionally attractive men, but felt shallow for feeling that way in the past. You were looking for an excuse to not feel shame over being shallow, and now you feel like you gave it. Your relationships with men who weren't conventionally attractive were a self-fulfilling prophecy.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 03:02 PM

Obviously you didn't like those ugly men you dated and you treated them like shit, so how should they be expected to feel?

How would you feel if someone had to compromise to be in a relationship with you? Yeah, a lot of guys don't realize that being a relationship who doesn't really like you, or resents you, is worse than being single. They need to ask themselves how it would feel to fall in love with someone only to find out they never really loved you. Or how it'd feel to have your affections rejected to one degree or another on a daily basis.

/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 11:11 PM

Women saying they care about personality most is intentionally misleading at best. Personality is not what makes a woman want to fuck a guy. Just because a bad personality can turn a woman off, that does mean it's really the most important thing, at least in my opinion. Women just like to say that because they fancy themselves less shallow and therefore morally superior to men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 10:40 PM

Women tell us all the time what they like. In fact, they can't do it without expressing vitriol towards men who don't fit that mold. Whatever edge case you represent is just that, an edge case. It's not really evidence against anything.

Being cruel for fun is scumbag behavior no matter who you're doing it to. The idea that women are discriminatory in who they're cruel to is provably false. They're even more vicious towards ugly men.

Women: There's no such thing as leagues/looksmatches Women: I see gorgeous women with average all the time. Also women: Average men need to know their place Also women: The audacity of the average man to think any woman would ever be into him.

I thought what women felt was attractive was supposed to be subjective? Why couldn't the attractive barista be flirting with an average man?

The shock here comes from thinking women are good or nice by default when that's not true of people in general. You probably got this impression from the way act in real life, but that's a front they put on because they're physically weaker sex. Social media has obviously lifted this veneer. Women are not wonderful. Edit: Also, yes, the majority of women today are hateful towards men.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 12:52 PM

A lot of people don't realize it, but it's actually women who always bear the real brunt of war.

Many men may prefer casual encounters before eventually settling down (or not), but in absence of that option, they still prefer a bad relationship to being single for the most part. Women, on the other hand, generally prefer being single to being in a less than ideal relationship. Women initiate the overwhelming majority of divorces, after all. Just because women want casual sex less, that doesn't mean they want relationships more.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 02:24 AM

Men want women more than women want men most of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 01:53 AM

So most of the time, women are the gatekeepers of the relationships.

Right, but the price of gas has been pretty stable for years, so you're probably saving closer $1 instead of $4. There's also the fact that the price fluctuates up as well as down, probably cancelling out any savings at all in the long run. Not to mention the gas you use to make those extra trips to the gas station.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/02/26 12:17 AM
1

Even if gas dropped $0.20/gallon in between visits to the gas station, which is unlikely, you'd save a whopping $4 on a 20 gallon fill up.

That used to be true, but I don't think it is anymore now that women don't need men to survive. A "subpar looking" woman has a higher SMV and RMV than the vast majority of men could ever dream of.

I wasn't saying that was what you said. However, I'm sure you'd agree most men don't have much margin to work with, meaning they can't really afford to look any worse. It is also a dealbreaker for a lot of women in and of itself.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 11:36 PM

It's often said in response to the question "does being bald make a man unattractive?" The answer should be a simple "yes" instead of beating around the bush. I wasn't disputing anything you said, just using your comment to point out something I've noticed.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 11:19 PM
2

Being completely bald is still better than noticeably balding. That doesn't mean bald will be attractive This is something key to remember when someone asks women how they feel about bald men. They'll often say "bald is better than balding" which some might take to mean that they think bald men can look attractive. She's almost always saying a shaved head is less unpleasant to look at, but still unpleasant nonetheless.

You only need see/hear how women talk about men's hair vs how they talk about bald men to determine the validity of those experiments. Baldness kills your attractiveness as a man.

A better question would be why women bother to show up to these events. Do they think there are a…

/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 01:08 AM

All else being equal, yes, women like to be courted. It's the first thing to go out the window with guys they actually find attractive, though. Only guys she's "meh" on have to jump through those hoops, and it still won't make her like him any more, it's just makes him worth entertaining.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/26 01:01 AM

Men want women more than women want most men? Did you come up with this brand spankin' new idea with that all on your own? Men who complain about women not approaching wouldn't be getting approached even if it was the norm. Women are already pretty forward with men they like. If a man feels like he has to jester, simp, or make an effort that dramatically disproportionate to hers, she doesn't really like him, and never will.

Meh, someone's going to have to pay for the child's welfare. Might as well be the person choosing to have sex in the first place rather than the state.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 08:10 PM
0

I mean, at least you're consistent I guess, but we both know the law will never call that rape, nor will it ever allow the man not to financially support the resulting child. I don't really think it should either. At the end of the day, if you're consenting to sex, you have to accept the risk that person you're having sex with might be lying to you. Some lies are more egregious than others and should potentially entitle a person to compensation, but I don't think lying rises to rape.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 07:37 PM
1

Just to be clear, you're saying if someone wasn't 100% truthful about everything to every person they've had sex with, they're a rapist?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 07:35 PM
0

Sex in and of itself carries with it the risk of harm because of the possibility of pregnancy. So, in your opinion, anyone who hasn't been 100% truthful with their partners is a sex offender.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 06:26 PM
2

Yeah, someone who's passed out can't give consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 06:23 PM
2

So any lie that might've prevented sex from taking place is sexual assault?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 06:22 PM
1

Who has? Me? Not by the letter of the law as far as I'm aware. In that case, does any lie that would've made a person not want to have sex with another person make any sex that took place under those pretenses rape?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 06:21 PM
2

My point is that one has to accept some responsibility for putting your health in someone else's hands. Whether it be because they straight up lied to you, or because they weren't up to date on their own health status. What if the guy got a vasectomy, but never followed up to verify he was actually sterilized. He assumes the procedure was successful, so he tells women he's had a vasectomy. Is he lying by omission if he gets a woman pregnant? How much responsibility does the woman have for taking…

That's more a general argument about the legality of abortion, not this specific case, especially since abortion was legal in this case.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 05:53 PM
1

No, because I was still taking a risk even if the guy did have a vasectomy. Vasectomies have failed or reversed themselves before. It's rare, but not unheard of. I don't see how access to an abortion is really relevant. That's something one should consider before having unprotected sex (or any sex at all, really).
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 05:49 PM
0

It's scumbag behavior which he should be held liable for, but it's not rape, and it doesn't warrant being placed on a sex offender registry your whole life. It's very similar to a woman lying about taking her birth control. I definitely could've been stuck with a kid I didn't want because of that, but I don't feel I've been raped.

Nah, I'm just making a based on a true story joke. I've been in a bunch of doctors offices over the last year, and most just take my word for it with regard to measurements. One medical assistant/nurse asked my height, huffed and puffed in disbelief, measured, and then marked me down as two inches shorter than I actually am. She wasn't flirting, she was just taking some shit out on me.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/02/26 03:17 AM

Same, but for height. Nurses love to neg me by reminding me I'm 5'11'' and 7/8ths instead of 6'.

That's because truly invisible women are almost non-existent. Women who "struggle" still get attention 95% of the time, they just don't like the attention they're getting. There are lots of men who get nothing, no matter how far they lower their standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 09:45 PM

What other conditions make a person unworthy of reproduction in your opinion?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 09:37 PM

Unattractive women are invisible to all of these victimhood conversations This implies unattractive women should be part of victimhood conversations because they can't get men who meet the criteria described by the woman you replied to. Seems you're just trolling, though.

/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 08:26 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:08 PM

Well sure, I''m sure you don''t feel nothing. I think most women would agree it's not as described in the video since most women seem to think of being with a man as an act of charity on their part to some degree.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 07:06 PM

I think the one-sided nature of that statement says it all. The implication is that this power of touch is something only women wield.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:45 PM

My ex talked shit about me for years to anyone who'd listen because I told mutual friends that she cheated on me when we broke up. It's by no means a lock that she'd try to ruin me if I became famous today, but it can't be ruled out.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:41 PM

The video above seems to imply "love" has little to nothing to do with it. It seems to be saying women just have a magical touch that men are at a severe disadvantage in life without. And actually, with how desperate some men are for it, that can't be ruled out.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/02/26 06:35 PM

Women do the same. It's extremely common for women to blame a woman's infidelity on her partner's behavior, for example.

A decade ago women would be offended if you paid for them on dates I was dating 10 years ago and I never ran into that. I never used to mind paying for most dates until women opened their mouths on social media and revealed how entitled they felt to it. The fact that I have to pay for her to want to spend time with me is a huge turnoff.

Hitting the gym for a couple years is a force multiplier is you're tall. If you're average height or below it doesn't move the needle much. Nah, I'm nowhere near that old. I'm just saying, people usually put up with the cost of living in SoCal because they like the weather.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 11:08 PM

Why do you think I sound rich/privileged?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 10:59 PM

California isn't even in a drought for once. Why live in LA if you don't like sunshine?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 10:22 PM

Yeah that's over the top I agree. The average person just doesn't have a civil argument in their skillset, they get too emotional.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:11 PM

Ah, good luck with your search
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:05 PM

You were confrontational with everyone else too.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 09:04 PM

Personal insults are uncivilized, but you were definitely looking to argue about the answers you didn't like. You weren't looking for any sort of advice.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:55 PM

You gotta tell us what you said to get such a strong negative reaction in a milquetoast sub like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 08:20 PM

What are you thinking of getting?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 07:42 PM

Idk about everyone
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 07:33 PM

I'm sure there's a subreddit for that
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 06:49 PM

Educated professional who's also "generou$" sounds a bit like she's looking for a tall rich guy. She's basically looking for the same guy every other woman is looking for. Whether she can get that or not will determine if she's being reasonable or not. Edit: Also is a single mom herself but doesn't want someone with kids? That's ridiculous.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 05:34 PM

He probably doesn't know
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 04:41 PM

She'd 100% cheat on her husband with this guy if she ran into him on the street tomorrow. There's having your best sex at some point in the past, and then there's still pedestalizing and reminiscing about that person like this. A person who probably hasn't thought of her since that night*, no less.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 02:54 PM

The barrier to entry is low, so it attracts people who couldn't even handle drinking their way through a state school with a C average.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 04:25 AM

Is there still hope with either one, or nah?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 03:46 AM

Did Chatty Chad have a double chin? What happened there?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 02:31 AM

I feel slightly retarded that I just figured this out recently. How many other accounts do you have? I'm beginning to think it's eventually just going to be be me talking to one other person here, if it isn't already.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 01:14 AM

Why 2 accounts?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 01:06 AM

Are you and new-western the same person?
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 12:55 AM

Quarantine 2 looks like a fun bad movie. I'm anti romcom alone on Valentine's day.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 12:54 AM

I wonder if enough people avoid going out on the 14th to avoid crowds now that the 14th is actually the day to go out now.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 12:50 AM

Past experience tells me this would be my fault somehow.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 12:10 AM

Even unlimited wishes for 10 years isn't worth an eternity in hell. Encountering an actual demon would only be incentive to double down on making sure I make it to heaven.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/02/26 12:08 AM

You talking about yuyu? I didn't hear about that part. It sounded like Brigid was talking about pictures that were shared privately and then got passed around.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:54 PM

Overall, that's probably the right way to be. Maybe someone else who knows feels like sharing.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:44 PM

You drive me nuts with this alluding to drama but being unwilling to share details shit. I want to know who's shady!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 11:33 PM

You posted your pictures?

Ick seems more severe and final than a turn off. They also seem to be over more trivial things.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 06:08 PM

A lot of people don't realize this, but it's actually free today if you're motivated enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 05:34 PM

What's your age range?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 02:02 PM

You couldn't find a single cute woman on Hinge? You could try dudes.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 01:16 PM

I think AI sex bots will actually be more popular with women than men, ultimately. Sex toys are already widely used by women, a sexbot is just an enhanced version of that. An AI sexbot will not provide men the validation they seek from women, which I think is actually more important than the sex itself. Otherwise incels complaining would just pay for sex. It'll be a long time before a sex bot is cheaper than a hooker once a week.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:50 AM

I wouldn't say it's that common. I see more women who fear it than women who've actually experienced it. Porn is also an easy thing to blame for a dead bedroom that totally absolves her of any responsibility for that situation. I'm sure women can relate to wanting to masturbate while not wanting to fuck their husband.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:45 AM

I would have a cool leather sheath custom made for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:35 AM

A tiny minority unless you define addiction as "jerks off to porn ever." You also obviously weren't talking about men with gfs. "Getting" one suggests one doesn't already have one.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:31 AM

If I could replace one my pinkies with a blade of some sort, I think that would be very handy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:26 AM

Do you think there is a significant number of men eschewing relationships in favor of beating off?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:23 AM

but these people usually don't come off as very materialistic/gold diggy or ultratrad. The women I've seen say "you're single until you're married" are definitely the materialistic gold digger/FDS type. Those people will always be looking for the next best thing regardless of marital status. For me, a relationship is an audition for marriage: We either decide we want to marry them within a certain amount of time, or we decide to break up. It is not a situation where the she's good enough for now…
/r/PurplePillDebate14/02/26 12:18 AM

lol
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 11:14 PM

I would say the same about women who are angry about short men (or whatever the thing they don't like is).
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 11:13 PM

The fact that you have such contempt for overweight women is telling.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 10:34 PM

Whose stated standards and preferences though? As much I see guys online talk about women they see on tiktok saying they have “666” standards, I’ve never had a friend who actually fits that profile. Seems like a loud minority. Forget 6/6/6, let's just stick with tall. There are quite a lot more women who want a tall man than there are tall men that exist, correct? The idea that those women are falling head over heels for a guy who's average is just not happening. It’s be like if I take the evide…

I find it hard to believe women are getting excited about the average men they get into relationships with given their stated standards and preferences. Women admit to dating men they weren't really that into all the time. "He's not very good looking, but he treats me really well" or "as I got older, looks started to matter less." How do you really know how your friends really feel, anyways? It reflects poorly on them that the best they could get was someone they didn't find hot, so there's litt…
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:48 PM

I've always expected to spend at least $10k on a ring, but it seems you can get a 1 carat lab diamond for less than half that. Maybe I've just been overestimating the cost my whole life, but that feels cheap in comparison. I don't really know anything about diamonds or rings, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:28 PM

I'm sorry to hear that. That sounds like a tough thing to have to deal with.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 02:24 PM

So you just have to live with the fact that at any time you could pass out and hit your head on something?
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 01:47 PM

I actually don't think it's that insane. In my opinion, diamonds don't actually look like anything all that special by themselves. It's about how much they cost and the display of status that comes with that. Lab diamonds being synthetic makes that status feel hollow, and that's only reinforced by lab diamonds being cheaper.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/26 12:46 PM

You're just making shit up as you go. The middle of the scale is average, the average person in America is fat. End of story.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:50 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:45 AM

Making your boundaries clear is an implicit threat. Most people agree you can't reasonably expect monogamy from someone you hadn't made a verbal agreement of exclusivity with, for example. If the other party doesn't remain exclusive with you, the threat of you breaking up with them looms.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:40 AM

Probably. I'm not Chad, but my ex in college did some of my homework/projects for me. She cheated on me a lot, though. :/
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:35 AM

Que?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:33 AM

In some cases marriage is glorified prostitution.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:22 AM

Setting boundaries can be seen as criticism or threatening behavior because it inherently criticizes certain behavior and threatens the other party with a severing of the relationship. Why would I support, respect, and encourage behaviors from someone that don't benefit me?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 02:22 AM

I think women really believe their taste in men wildly varies from other women. They assume just because they're not into something, that doesn't mean the overwhelming majority of women don't feel the same way. "I'm not into short men, but some women are." "I'm not into bald men, but some women are." I really think women just haven't thought about it all that much, and often have a strong desire to feel unique.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/02/26 01:10 AM

Can’t you get a zero buzz cut tatted onto your scalp Yes, it's called skin micropigmentation. That's in the same realm as hair transplants. Idk how women would react to smp, probably similarly to toupees or wearing shoelifts. Women tend to really not like it when men to try to fraud their genetics. Eh it works better for some guys, esp not super white ones True. Short hair definitely works better for non-white men.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 05:01 PM
3

Buzz cut != male pattern baldness. MPB makes a man look past his prime and/or sickly. That's why even a slightly receding hairline is considered unattractive to women. A buzz cut still allows you to maintain a hairline that frames your face properly and signals you're still healthy enough to grow hair. It's not as attractive as a thick head of hair grown out some, but it's not MPB.

/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 02:56 PM

It is true. Women only become begrudgingly open to dating bald men when they get older and their choices are more limited because a large portion of male population has started losing their hair by that point. It's basically the number one thing women cite when describing how men age poorly. Women use "bald" as an insult just like they use "short" as an insult because they find both extremely unattractive. Women will settle and date a bald man, but they're not physically attracted to them.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 02:49 PM

Balding kills any potential attractiveness you might have as a man. He can take care of himself all he wants, he'd still be bald.

So relationships become boring to women after the first 6-12 months?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 03:37 AM
1

Do some men not elicit attraction from women that doesn't need to develop over time? The answer to that is of course yes. It's normal because most men aren't good looking enough to women for that. At best attraction needing to develop over time is an inferior form of attraction where physical attraction is lacking.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/26 02:59 AM

so, erm, doh. Whom are these women dating ? The disparity comes from women sharing (knowingly or unknowingly) the most attractive men and women dating a men a few years older.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 07:06 PM

It basically happens in any argument where women are trying to act like they're superior or on some higher plane of existence than men are. I see it a lot in particular when women feel they're being accused of being shallow and they try to list all the ways "we (women)" are actually not shallow.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 06:37 PM

Women aren't a monolith unless it's something that makes women look virtuous. Then women have zero problem generalizing other women.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 05:26 PM

In this case, reality is pro woman. The average 30+ woman has more market value than most men will ever have at any point in their life. Even red pill doesn't deny 30+ women have value. All the self-improvement advice exists to make the average frustrated chump competitive in a market where women are getting older and looking to settle down. I actually agree with you that most people single past 30 are not relationship material. That's men and women, though.

/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 02:44 PM

You're the woman in there chair here, as are many women. You can't convince (jester) someone to be attracted to you. They either are, or they aren't.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 02:38 PM

I know you expect men to do more than you did before while you do less than before. You said it.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 02:35 PM

How is that less than what you did before?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 02:24 PM

You said it yourself below: Your standards going up means you reciprocate less and expect more. You want men to make an effort to impress you while you sit back and decide if they're doing enough. You're demanding them to be a jester for you. I'm sure you can imagine non-reciprocal effort doesn't feel good since you don't like a lack of effort yourself.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 02:02 PM

The conspiracy theorists have no credibility because they're clearly partisan hacks. The conspiracy theorists ignored Trump and Elon's ties to Epstein, instead focusing on a politically irrelevant Bill Clinton and Bill Gates.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 01:55 PM

I understand the connection you’re trying to make but there’s just not any good evidence that women are any more shallow irl today than they were in the past before dating apps were a thing. Everyone wants the most attractive partner they can get. If you're getting a lot of attention from people who are above average, most people are naturally going to assume you yourself are above average. Of course you're not going to bother with people less than that, in real life or otherwise. I personally t…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/26 01:50 PM

That doesn't mean anything. What else are they going to tell a man who's complaining about the apps not working for him? Give up? The average woman on a dating app is deluged with likes and attention from men who are well above average in attractiveness. You acknowledge yourself that women pretty much only see profiles of above average men. This leads to women raising their standards for what their partner should look like and it makes them less open to socializing with men in real life. Partial…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 09:45 PM

That's all I can't think of. How many women under 35 have an 8 figure net worth? I wouldn't really have much choice. And I actually misunderstood your original question: I don't think my desire for a partner would change.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 09:22 PM

Eh, I know a couple people on their second or third marriage who've made it 25+ years. The statistics are what they are, but that doesn't mean you should just give up.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 08:57 PM

I guess we'll see.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 04:17 PM

Even if you're right, that's still going to eliminate a lot of jobs. Companies won't need to keep every employee they have now on to supervise the AI. Even if it eliminates 25% of jobs, that's great depression levels of unemployment.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:45 PM

The first step is recognizing there is a problem, which many people haven't yet. I've heard very mixed information on how useful it is and whether development is slowing or not. I think it's better to prematurely overreact than it is to react when it's too late.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:35 PM

Regardless of what it actually is, they're being told it's AI, and some of it probably is. Even if AI can't replace people yet, that is what it's being developed for. People should be scared of the prospect of their labor no longer having any bargaining power.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:26 PM

Yeah, people getting laid off should just shut up
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 03:17 PM

I'd probably have to drop the requirement that she be in a similar socioeconomic class to me. I wouldn't want to limit my dating pool that much.

That's not the point. Most people don't want whores shitting up every dating app
/r/PurplePillDebate06/02/26 01:26 PM

No, whores should be relegated to their own app. Just because a guy is delusional about what he can get doesn't mean he's looking for a prostitute.

After that, who knows. I hope AGI is more or less impossible in my lifetime, but Idk that it is. I do think it's more or less going to ruin the internet, if it hasn't already.

It was a high profile case. I could see someone thinking it was a good idea to come up with some haphazard scheme to divert media attention. If whoever killed him was trying to divert attention, however, killing him only did the opposite.

Does that matter though since all reporters weren't fooled? We got a photo of his body being wheeled out of jail, and we got a video the what is likely the "black vehicle" he was carted off in. You really have that much conviction on that? I'd say it's like more likely than not he didn't kill himself, but I certainly couldn't rule it out. I imagine that's a result of sunk cost and greater aversion to divorce among religious couples (unlikely to cohabitate before marriage). The problem doesn't seem to be moving in together itself since moving in together after being engaged didn't result in a higher divorce rate.

Are they going out of their way because the situation warrants it, or are they going above and beyond as a means to impress you? I find women to be almost universally nice and are often willing go out of their way for me when needed, but they're almost never doing things to try to impress me.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 02:40 AM

Yeah, it's a thing. Some people are more stuck on it than others, though. I marginally prefer women who look a certain way, but I like other women too. I am really only interested in one personality type, however.

It's not easy for most men no matter how tall the woman is. Height doesn't have anywhere near the same level of negative impact on woman as it does men.

One time in your whole life?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:47 AM

A chance? Sure. I wouldn't say I ever had dramatically more interest from the facebook women demo you're describing than I did with women I actually wanted. I find the facebook women are more or less just as picky as all women, especially since swipe apps became popular.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:43 AM
2

Where are you looking that I'm not? I see plenty who say they're happy.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/26 01:37 AM
2

The reason they're difficult to get is because the majority of men just don't inspire the same level of desire from women that the tall man does. That woman you describe feels meh at best towards the majority of men, so the majority men have to do a lot more to stand out just a get a tiny fraction of the interest.

/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 11:13 PM

Women's standards in the body dept trend toward healthy bodies. Looks also includes good hygiene, clean clothes, aesthetic, body language, word choice/tone, etc. Just ftr. This is you talking around what women really care about again. Maybe it's not important to you personally, but obviously facial aesthetics and height are hugely important to women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/26 10:42 PM

Caring enough to maintain a buzz cut and wear normal clean clothes is still a level above wiping your ass properly and showering every day. I can't imagine a person who cares enough to do the former but are too inept/lazy to do the latter.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 03:22 AM

The top 1% men don't just wake up like that. Obviously a lot of it is top tier genetics, but they also get good haircuts and care how they dress. If they're doing all that, it seems odd they wouldn't shower.

So many RP men have a death grip on their narrative that if a man isn't Chad women don't want him/want to have sex with him... Women are the ones calling most men ugly, below average, etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:05 AM

Most men are attractive. You do know this is not an opinion shared by the overwhelming majority of women, right?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:03 AM

Even less obviously serious things like being overweight and too much stress are linked to low libido and early death.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 02:57 AM
13

I'll acknowledge that a lot of men probably are jealous. I could take or leave casual sex, personally. I just wish women didn't become jaded by their adventures with more attractive men and bring their baggage to my interaction with them. I'd also prefer they be up front about feeling like they're settling so that I can reject them. I'd rather be alone.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 02:12 AM
2

I'm average looking and rich, and a really attractive woman starts giving me attention, should I assume she likes me or my money?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 02:00 AM

That really shows what those women really care about if that's the only criteria that matters to them when trying to gauge a man's interest. These women aren't approaching dating as an opportunity to get to know and form a connection with another person if a man not paying for the whole date is a dealbreaker.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 10:17 PM

Then you behave in the same transactional way as the women I'm talking about.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 10:00 PM

Paying for her share of dates isn't leading. Let's be honest here, women with this preference just don't want to pay, and like being treated like a prize.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 09:43 PM

Are men wrong to want the same from women?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/01/26 09:09 PM

I guess I'm asking if there's less giddiness for someone who you find yourself liking in person, but doesn't necessarily look pretty. Situations where you probably wouldn't have swiped right on them on an app.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 05:04 PM

What do you mean by "natural scent?" I find most people smell neutral, and if they smell bad, it's usually because they're unhygienic. Was it a hygiene issue, or something else I'm not familiar with? I know people talk about pheromones, but as far as I'm aware there's no evidence for that in humans. I've never personally experienced it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 05:01 PM

Sure, but the idea is you eventually meet the guys from the apps, and they have all that too.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 04:09 AM
2

Probably not since demand for women exceeds supply, inflating their value on the market.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 03:46 AM
2

Is the desire you feel towards the real world guy lesser because he likely doesn't fit your more shallow preferences quite as well as the guys you can select from on the apps?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 03:39 AM
3

You're assuming everyone is pairing up, but a lot of women are choosing to just stay single. Dating apps have probably increased the precision with which people match with their equals. If anything market forces dictate a man has to date even further down on OLD than he does in real life since men outnumber women 3:1 in the best of scenarios.

Would you be willing to describe the "overwhelming chaos of men every other woman experiences?"
/r/PurplePillDebate28/01/26 02:23 AM

I want someone who cares about me beyond just sex and sees and cares about me as a person. Someone im attracted to and someone who's sex is good too. So basically someone I get along with who I value and respect for more than just sex and vive versa but also a guy who still meets my sexual desires. Which of these things has been the hardest to find for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 11:17 PM

People have been saying this, but she's been doing her thing for a loooong time. I think her PPD posts are just her life's work at this point.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 10:28 PM

What's a minor thing people frequently do (irl, not here) that annoys you?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 10:00 PM

Are you? You seem pretty chill here.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 09:48 PM

Far from the norm? Definitely not. It's very normal for a woman to have tons of likes on dating apps, have a new man sliding in their DMs on SM at least once a month, hitting on them in real life, etc. I know because I'm an average looking man who's dated several women and talked to a whole lot more. My exes always had guys hitting on them in some way, shape, or form. Even women who say they get no attention and feel unattractive inevitably end up acknowledging to me that they do actually get so…
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 09:05 PM

Is that not what most women are doing in your view?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 08:25 PM

It ain't just women
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 07:02 PM
1

But what's the percentage of men who inspire that sort of attraction on sight? 5% maybe? What're ya gonna do about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 06:39 PM

It's just not true. Being a blubbering mess over minor things frequently is unattractive. That's feminine behavior. Crying because your mom is sick is not.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 05:39 PM

It's funny how the most obviously unhinged women are the most vocal about how superior they feel to the men here.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 05:34 PM

Just couldn't quit us, huh?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 05:30 PM

You don't need shoes anymore if your legs get amputated, so if you don't like buying shoes, it's a good deal.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 05:28 PM

How many times have you said this and come back?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 05:05 PM

Probably just do it. Yeah the ex isn't my responsibility, but I'm not doing it for her, I'm doing it for my kids. If she feels she can't take them, but wants to tag along, whatever. I'm not going to get into an argument about it that'll accomplish nothing other than making the kids uncomfortable.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 04:22 PM

Most of the comments on that post are either condemning her, or questioning the veracity of the post itself. Most women are not so unreasonable that they're losing attraction for a guy for crying about his mom being in the hospital, especially an exceptionally hot one as described in the post, for A "real post on reddit" suggests a level of credibility where there is none.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 04:04 PM

It's too on the nose.

Why were you having sex with men you weren't attracted to in the first place?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 03:00 PM

but they're not referring to physical attraction. A lot of women say as they became more attracted to a man based on other things, they started to see their physical attributes as more attractive as well. You're saying the "grew on me" type of attraction is inherently inferior, and while I agree, many women I've talked to do not.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 02:29 PM

If it was created solely to appeal to women, they would have fixed his hair. It's probably to make him more sympathetic to everyone since ugly people are generally treated worse. It's less about women and more about society as a whole.

Would you agree most women aren't drooling for their partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 12:38 PM

I don't remember where I was going with that tbh
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:42 AM

I'll just speak for myself: I want to be the best. I realize it's not necessarily about having the best dick, but I still want to have the best dick. Women want to feel like they're best for their partner too in my experience. We all want to feel special to the person that's special to us.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:41 AM

Maybe, but I think being in the closet is excusable given when she got married. I can understand feeling shame for being gay in the late 90s. What annoyed me was her being unable to let her husband go while wanting other people herself. I stopped reading there, so Idk how it turned out, but it's a very common sentiment among people who are unfaithful.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:32 AM

I was just having a discussion. I agree there's no right or wrong here. Like I said, there's obviously no discussion to be had.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:22 AM

I really hate how monogamy probably isn't in a lot of peoples nature, and you probably won't know that until they ruin your life.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:12 AM

You're a gay man?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:02 AM

I think calling something "performative" has an inherent negative connotation associated with it. You're right, though, there's no need to discuss further.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:01 AM

I think if you have something great, sometimes you just want to brag about it. I don't think it's wrong to enjoy your partner feeling like your brag-worthy. "Bad sign" for what, specifically? I think if you expect your partner to brag about you, that means you want validation from others, not your partner. It means you don't actually care about the relationship, you just care about how it appears to others.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 03:42 AM

Where're you moving to?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 03:13 AM

Couple questions: What if it wasn't performative? Like what if he genuinely wanted to express his appreciation for you for everyone else you know to see? Do you think it's a bad sign if a woman gets mad a man who doesn't use social media that much forgets to make a post on SM at all about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 03:07 AM

Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 02:44 AM

Q4W: Do you prefer it if a guy makes a super heartfelt social media anniversary post where he lays bare his strong feelings for you. or is it better if he's just like "I've really enjoyed the years we've spent together ❤️?"

One's match is what they can get. It seems short men struggle more than fat women, which suggests to me some will just not have a match, period. If it were a just world, their most logical match would be an equally shorter than average woman. Women say they like to feel small and feminine with a man, so being 5-7 inches shorter should be good enough for that. Unfortunately for short guys, short women seem to be the most adamant about wanting a tall man.

Casual sex isn't really my thing, but I've had it on occasion and had several opportunities for more. I still see being made to wait as a form of rejection. I also reject the idea of having to prove myself because she got burned by other men in the past. That's not my problem.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:52 PM

I've found that if I need a favor, there were more women who I could rely on than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:38 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:16 PM

Women tend to be better friends on aveage. Men are way more fickle unless you've got a strong bond and have been friends for a long time.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 03:06 PM

No, she assumed all of his political stances were liberal/left because he said he was liberal on abortion and gays. Did her wanting to fuck probably influence her to not ask further questions? Most likely. You can't say things wouldn't have gone differently if he volunteered his conservative political positions that she doesn't like before they slept together.

No one disputes very attractive women will marry very attractive men. The thing is, women well below your level are also seeking men with the same qualities you were, but there are only a very limited number of those men to go around. Obviously the average woman is settling.

I suppose men may try, but they realize pretty quickly they're not getting so much as the time of day from a 9, let alone casual sex. Men usually have casual sex with women they wouldn't date seriously in the absence of someone they want an LTR with. LTR women will probably be the most attractive of the bunch. Most women most of the time are never really seeking casual, but they do try to secure commitment from the hottest men they can. Eventually, water finds it's level. I agree the male and fe…

/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:06 PM

These vast majority of women are looking for something serious and if they do have casual sex it’s with a guy they would date long term if that offer was on the table. Correct, but you only have half the of equation. There are also lots of guys (most) they would only have relationships with and never have casual sex with if that weren't on the table. There's a reason so many guys dangle a relationship to get a woman to have sex with them and then ghost her. It's because they couldn't get sex any…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 02:37 AM

And vice versa. And this is what you're not understanding. Women very rarely want to fuck a guy but don’t want to date him. Women get into relationships with men all the time whom they wouldn't settle for casual (like FWB/situationship) with. Those men have RMV, but little to no SMV. These men are much more common than the men they'll settle for casual with regardless of whether he will commit to a relationship. Why do you think married men are so desirable to women? This greatly overexaggerated…
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:46 AM

Free climbing is so dumb
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:33 AM

Guys with high SMV don't need to lie about just wanting something casual/short term to get it. Leveraging high RMV to have a similar experience to a guy with a high SMV doesn't mean you have high SMV.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:28 AM

RMV peaks in 30s probably. SMV is probably early-mid 20s.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/26 01:22 AM

I think people kind of exaggerate about the honeymoon period. If after a year your relationship is substantially less enjoyable, or you find yourself bored of the other person, it's probably not going to last.
