Sooo...did she purposely spend her entire life up to this point doing these things just to spite her grandfather? Because that's certainly what it sounds like. I mean, how hard is it to just respectfully say, "Thank you for your offer, but can't bring myself to agree with your terms." ??? She sounds like she's bordering on some obsessive mental disease. What does she honestly have to gain from being such a hateful little twat? OOOO! You REALLY showed him with your hyphenated last name and your h…

We don't want children at the moment, but we've discussed it being a possibility in the future. As far as religion goes, I was raised by a strict Jehovah's Witness mother. I recognize that they are in fact a cult as a whole, but in a weird way I'm grateful for my strict, cult-y, upbringing because it instilled in me a healthy fear of the "carousel" at an early age and helped me not to worry about being like the "other girls". I also learned to respect and honor the men in my life because of it. …

I would LIKE to believe this is satire...unfortunately my SO had a conversation with his cousin the other day who is the textbook definition of an entitled princess. He was asking her why she's still single....her response was that she has yet to find a man that treated her like the princess she is and that would wait on her hand and foot and not expect her to cook or clean. No lie......she's a "model" too if that gives any additional insight. So yeah....there ARE entitled bitches out there who …

Yes! Looking back now, I can pinpoint that a lot of my mental anguish came from my constant struggle of trying to be in control, or thinking that I needed to be. Indeed we are VERY lucky. It's nice not wondering if I'm crazy everyday. :)

I have a copper IUD too!! LOVE IT! My libido sky rocketed too, and I lost a good bit of weight when I got off the pill and switched to my Paragard. Congrats! :)

One of my biggest issues is my emotions. I am VERY sensitive. When we have disagreements, or especially when my SO points out very bluntly something stupid that I've done, my first reaction in my female brain is to start thinking, "Oh my god he doesn't love me, I'm worthless, oh woe is me!" Then I have to put myself in check mentally. Number one, he DOES love me. That's why he pointed out that what I did was STUPID, so that I don't do it again. Two, what can I do to make sure I don't do this aga…

Thank you! I love having a place where I can go, and not be made to feel weird or stupid just because I like being pretty, doing girly things, and have no desire to have a penis. It's so nice to know that true femininity is not dead. :))

Yay!!! So happy for you. I just started posting here too after lurking for months. :) I was pretty much forced to wear the pants in my previous relationship, and it just fell apart. My ex told me straight up that he didn't want to be my leader, he wanted me making all of the important decisions because I "was better at it", I made most of the money while he "searched for himself". I was miserable. A good description I guess, would be that I was akin to a raft, just left in the middle of the ocea…

^ This. I had some neck beard over at TBP trying to tell me what I should be frustrated by in life. Oh and apparently I'm a Nazi sympathizer, with no respect for holocaust victims because I like to use the term Feminazi. rolls eyes Puhleeeze!!! Get OVER yourself, really.

Wow. What a disgusting double standard. They were so quick to crucify this poor man and have his head on a platter. Where are all of the activists now, to stand up for HIS rights that were violated, his name that was thrown in the mud?? Disgusting.

I've never been in that position so it's hard for me to say EXACTLY what I would do. The thing that would concern me the most would be the disease factor....ew. I don't know where that other woman's been, and your not gonna stick your dick in that and then come stick it in me, sorry.

"He was stating what he believed to be facts and was happy to place all women on a pedestal." That damn pedestal...brings to my mind one of my favorite Alanis song quotes: "I don't want to be your idol. See this pedestal is high, and I'm afraid of heights." News flash! Not ALL women want to be worshiped and serviced too...it makes me extremely uncomfortable for one.

Oh this is gonna be awesome...I can tell already. Where's the popcorn... Edit: Welp...the verdict's in ladies. We are all victims of rape since we like it rough and our men don't beg for our consent every time we get down.

"I'm not trying to sound like a butthurt overweight girl..." But that's EXACTLY what you sound like. I mean, how insecure do you have to be to feel threatened by some professionally photographed baked goods and the person that made them? When I first saw the post originally, all I thought was, "Cool!! Now I have some fun ideas for the next time I'm in a creative baking mood." So does this mean that she never eats out at restaurants for fear of being one upped by the chef and his cooking skills, …

It's evolved into nothing more than excuse to be fat and lazy. "I'm perfect the way I am! I don't NEEED to make any effort to better MYSELF. Accept my fat ass and hairy legs! And like it!!" And that's why you live alone with 40 cats sweetheart.

sigh I WAS in a relation with a feminist "man" before I found my Captain. Worst 10 years of my life. He was a textbook mamas boy, plus he had dated a nazi feminist before we got together. He refused to have sex with me if I had had anything to drink...because that was rape. And he would APOLOGIZE to me sometimes after sex if he thought he was "too rough"....he actually cried once because he left a handprint on my ass. Ugh....I need a bumper sticker..."I survived a feminist relationship".

My daddy's the same way. Even to this day, he will not utter a hateful thing about her despite all the shit she put him through, because she's the mother of his children. He'll speak the truth when it's warranted, but he doesn't go out of his way to talk about her. He's just old school classy like that. A true Southern gentleman. :)

I just run a pot of clean water through when I'm done. I've found one is usually sufficient, but you can do two if you want to be sure. And no, it's never affected the taste of my coffee negatively. If anything, I think it improves it because the coffee maker is so clean. :)

Oh that's smart! We don't have one at the moment, but I'll file that away in my household tips section of my brain. :)

Vinegar is my go to for getting rid of funky smells. Go get a gallon of distilled white vinegar at the grocery store and run it through your coffee maker a few times. Use a fresh batch each run. Your house will smell kinda pickley for a few hours, but it dissipates after awhile. You can always open some windows and go for a walk if it's too much. Plus it cleans your coffee maker. If you don't have a coffee maker, putting some on a low boil on the stove works just as well.

I've never understood women who do that. My mother was THE WORST growing up. She painted my father as the most horrible person in the world, even more after they divorced. Meanwhile, she was the toxic person in the family, my daddy was just trying to be the best father he could despite her actions. I love his current wife, who I affectionately call my mama, since my biological mother doesn't speak to me anymore. But ANYWAY...yes...I've never been comfortable around women who badmouth their SO's,…

Number 10 is my favorite. I am always proud to be out in public with my SO. He is the definition of a natural Alpha, and just exudes confidence and testosterone. Other women eyeball him alllll the time, he finds it extremely amusing...I get to just sit back and say, "Yep. I'm with HIM." :))

My definition of feminism...Women who stand up for your freedom to express your opinion, as long as you share the exact same opinion as they do. :P

It's interesting you posted this article. I was debating with some feminazis on FB yesterday (yes, pointless I know) over an NPR article saying that in order to raise "empathetic" men, all male children should only be given "genderless" neutral toys, encourage them to play with girl stuff, and to steer away from toys that are marketed exclusively to boys. So nothing manly like trucks, cars, guns, GI Joes. I commented on how ridiculous the whole article was and suddenly I had an influx of inbox m…

Good lord. I think a better title for that article would be, "Can a Feminist EVER Be Happy?" Never in my life have I met a group of people that just can't take something at face value and be happy with it. They have to nit pick every little thing until they find SOMETHING to moan about. Oh you have a beautiful wedding ring? Nothing more than a symbol of a man trying to own you. A beautiful white gown? NO, an outdated sexist symbol of owning a woman's virginity. No wonder they're all so miserable…
