As a former teacher, I respectfully disagree. I don’t know any of my former colleagues who think they’re making as much as their peers. I feel like this comment is wildly inaccurate and far from the thoughts of modern teachers.

I scrolled the whole way through this thread and still don’t know what wokeism is beyond it being redefined as “leftist wokeism. ” if we’re going to have an open and serious debate about something I think an agreed upon definition needs to be in play first, right?

That only incentivizes them to keep up their lie. The proper incentives need to be given to prosecutors who make their careers off of convictions, whether right or wrong it was a win for the prosecution. You're going after the wrong person. It should be that the prosecutor should get those years and pay the restitution. Prosecutors are the real problem. John Oliver did a nice piece on this (only about murder) a few months ago. I'll see if I can get the link. Edit: a link https://youtu.be/ET_b78G…

My Urologist claims it lowers risk of penile cancer to almost zero, like he's been practicing for some 25 years and hasn't even heard of a case of penile cancer where the male got "snipped" at birth as is the practice in most american hospitals. I've not done any research into this claim beyond that conversation, by the way.

The one and only comment on there is fairly entertaining.

I don't disagree here. What with how men are raised and violence encouraged in youth with the playing with guns and all. I think that we should take a closer look at the "man up" culture and change what "man up" means. I'm of the opinion that better mental health services would go a long way to preventing most shootings and I think a big part of that is how men are raised. However I don't think that this particular case applies.

From Wikipedia On January 23, 2013, the Pentagon decided to end its policy of excluding women from combat positions. Military and legal analysts speculate that this will open the door for Congress to begin the process to amend the law and remove the exemption from registration requirements.[45][46] The National Coalition for Men has filed a lawsuit that challenges the legality of requiring only males to register for the military draft.[47][48] The lawsuit was filed against the U.S. Selective Ser…

I don't see what this has to do with rights for women, even more so what it has to do with rights for men. It merely discusses a very expensive option for women, something that men have had for years. I got bored with the article at what appears about half way through and they had barely even mentioned men outside of women meeting them to reproduce. It's things like this that made me have to move away from this subreddit for a while, sometimes I think this group looks for things to be offended a…

If he's in a union, he's not making any more then any of the female co workers, it's set up on a pay schedule the union negotiates, there is no individualized pay.

Thank you for a thorough explanation. I am fairly unaware of really, almost all of European history, especially if it does not in some way impact American history.

I am admittedly ignorant to what this means in the context of MRAs. Elaborate please?

I don't hate women. I love women. I hate how both men and women view men. I hate the distorted picture of reality that we have. Most specifically I hate the lies that feminism tells. Well put sir, This is my exact sentiment.

A valid argument sir, but I'm afraid it's like posting atheist messages on R/atheism, it's easy to preach to those who already believe (or the exact opposite on atheism I guess...). The question becomes how do we take miss-informed feminists like this and... well... fix them? Or is it as hopeless as hoping to turn a fundie to atheism? I am of course referring to the feminists who aren't using their rational brains as the fundies, and the MRA's as the clear headed and probably right atheists here…

In all honesty, this is one of the reasons why I really enjoy The Walking Dead, I feel like Rick personifies how a man should be portrayed in the media. Anyway, have an upvote!

Read the comments, this one especially amused me: "Isolda Natividade6/21/2011 Sorry, but this post sounded like a bad joke.So men are the victims now? Really?? So how do you explain the increasing violence against women around the globe in the personification of prostitution and porno? The prostitution demand for women and children traffick?? The increasing numbers of pervs and pedophilies in the web? Of course we should think everything is sex! How about the so commom date-rapes? the less money …
