I like the way you think and I happen to agree. It won't sit well here in TRP, but this attitude is a huge part of the issue. It's almost as unattractive in itself as the girls who want unrealistic things.

Content doesn't get removed as a result of the number of people reporting it, just FYI.

Quite right; the jury's duty is not to decide whether the person deserves the sentence, but whether they can be certain beyond all reasonable doubt that the person did commit the crime they're accused of.

Sounds like a fairly good incentive not to reoffend to me...

Indeed - in the UK and most of Europe, sex with a 13-year-old is illegal and sex with a 17-year-old is legal.

In the adult world, if someone assaults you then sure, you press charges. In a school environment these things can be resolved without having to get the police involved. The kids are 13 years old, they don't need to be arrested for a point to be made. They're barely even into puberty.

Anyone saying "call the cops" is what's wrong with the world today. This doesn't need to go to the cops, it just needs the principal to understand that it's a serious issue and accept that if the boy punched the girl in the chest or kicked her in the crotch then it'd likely be a much more serious issue. The school shouldn't make light of it but nobody needs to start a lawsuit over a schoolyard disagreement.

There is a difference between starting a fight and self-defence. If you don't hit back in a situation where you're not the initial aggressor, you're basically setting yourself up as a target. This isn't so true on the street but it is true in schools. I understand the point you're trying to make but you're not doing it in a very smart way. Nobody's going to take you seriously if the third word you write is "cunt".

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
