Yup. I have several experiences that back this up. For some reason I have it ingrained in me that I won't get any of the girls that I actually like by doing this but I keep at it regardless. I was once with a friend of mine in a bus and we had just come back from one of the neighboring islands. What bugs me the most about this is the fact that females are holding eachother back from changing their hypergamous nature. The girl telling the story was clearly enjoying her time with the awkward dude but in comes her friend and ruins it. Well, I'm a stoic nihilist so I'm already pretty unaffected by the fear inducing propaganda, but if you add in the confidence that I have in my physical health and the fact that I use masks and gloves when going out it makes me almost inmune to the irrational fear that they try to induce onto us. Sadly, many of the people around me are freaking out about it, as if it was gonna end the world, and I've been called "insensitive", "crazy" or "sociopath" by some of them.

I have a classmate who I'd say is at least an 8/10. I once asked her what she does in her free time and she said "I go out with my friends" (not like she has that many). I then asked her if she has any hobbies and she said "Well, no", with a look on her face that said "Why should I be interested in anything else". I prefer the Volvo s60 and v70 r design. They have a similar amount of power (and it's coming from an inline 5), are also AWD and have a more luxurious interior. They're also considered Impreza killers by many.
