I don’t think you understand what IVF is...? Why would an embryo that can be screened for genetic issues before implantation make you afraid of unknown genetic issues?

Are you me?! Also getting married in the next year and having this exact same conversation... I definitely think it is a pride thing, but it's hard to let go of. Thanks for posting :)

I wouldn't call her an "ideal candidate" but I watch this woman occasionally for reviews on beauty products and high end shoes/purses before making a big purchase. She is very feminine and gracious, always compliments her husband and talks about how she puts him first (along with her children), and is always trying to look her best for him. She made this video about her divorce and marrying her second (current) husband and I always thought she had it together, long before I discovered RPW. My li…

Definitely don't let that go to your head though, it's an easy way to hamster making bad decisions.

I'm really glad to hear this! I was one of the posters who was very skeptical of his intentions and it's always nice to be proven wrong :)

awesome, I will definitely reach out when I've made some more progress (and, let's be honest, when I remain committed to my diet lol)

I'm on week four of the BBG but it's all I'm doing so I'm not sure how effective it will be.

Thank you so much for this! My SO is currently unemployed and it's been tough to stick to this because it's easy to get overwhelmed and bitchy. It's nice to be reminded that this approach works and will lead to better results in the end.

You can get retinol OTC but it's a much lower concentration. Not a bad idea to start there to see if your skin can tolerate it. I'm also very fair and that tends to go hand in hand with sensitivity so it's good to start on a lower concentration and work your way up to a prescription strength. I've heard the La Roche Posay Redermic is the best one available OTC but do your own research. The stridex pads are amazing. I've tried so many BHA products and they really work the best, and they're cheap.…

I don't know if it's available where you live but I just started doing Blue Apron and it's been great. I know there are a few services like this (I think Plated is one), and I would recommend looking into whether or not your area has something like this.

Do not go down this road. He may not be seeing other girls at the moment but his unwillingness to call you his girlfriend definitely means that he wants that option open to him in the (potentially near) future. A guy who is confident and happy should have no problems with "a label." It's not like you're asking him to marry you. I do not mean to sound harsh/mean but I speak from experience because I did this dance for a year and it will not end well for you. You are giving him all of the comfort …

No worries, it's not particularly rant like. I think it's important for us to remember that the point of all this is to be a better woman overall, just just in the presence of a SO, like you said.

This is a great way to look at it. It's so easy to knee jerk annoyance/frustration with these people.
