Does he truly get the worst of you? Or does he get a normal human being just as he is? Our bodies are wondrous constructions, they react to outside and inside stimuli. Time to truly get yourself checked out by a wholesome doc that truly looks not only over your physical but also your mental/emotional state and takes it into account. give yourself permission to take the time your body needs practice productive solitude, go for long walks, read good books do you go swimming regularly? I find it …

I have major issues with my SO refusing to acknowledge that his EXWife and BM of our Skids is doing her utmost to keep him from fully committing to me and our children in Marriage. Hopefully she will marry fast so there is no more money changing hands. I have been very open and hurtingly direct with him about how I feel about it.

If the situation was reversed and your SO did something hurtful and wrong - would he apologize and change ? If yes, apologies and change. If no change and say nothing. He would see it as weakness and respect you even less.

I pity them. They are choosing to be bitter, hateful and hurting.

An adult Woman should not expect to be treated like a princess but as a queen. A Queen sees it as her duty to keep her realm prosperous, her King strong and knows how to give counsel. She is respected by her people and loved by her king.

. The west would really do wonders if we could practice hard and humble things like this again. There is nothing more satisfying and empowering , in the best sense of the word;), then harvesting and preserving Mother Earth's goodness!

I canned a lot of apples when I was a young mother. Being 18 and having a baby on your hips is hard. Without my +Husband I would not have been able to do it. Our income was small and my mother taught me all she knew to make ends meet and raise my kids.

start small! When I was a student and new mom ( I was barely 18 at the time ) I had three big beton caskets as raised beds. Tomatoes and kitchen herbs galore;) I also struck up a mutually friendship with some People from the Garden Plots. (the regulations expect a certain percentage of produce and not all can cope with the harvests yielded by their plots so I offered to pick apples, plums, pears etc. and take some for myself.)

Getting a good compost going is my current goal. Our current compost is too exposed to sunlight since the old plum tree was killed by a vicious storm.

Start with getting to know your soil. Different soil different plants. Tomatoes in big pots are good for beginners. But no more then 8 plants or you might get overwhelmed if the year is good. (Happened to me last year - I still have 10 jars of Tomato sauce left over)

There are so many good books about it and to be honest, I learned so much from my late Grandmother and the old folks in the neighborhood.

We live in my Great Grandmothers house. It is quite small but sits on a big piece of land. I do a lot of gardening, the soil yields quite the abundant harvests if properly cared for. I love being able to feed my family from our own land. SO has doubted me in that regard - being quite surprised when we had fresh produce all autumn/winter long.

Does he feel trapped maybe because of the child? He was so so happy and we did think about adding our own to the family eventually. Why are you only now dissatisfied with the arrangement? Ever since I got pregnant I have been answering pointed questions - from both sides of the family. I feel it is right to marry the woman that raises your children as her own - and 3 years after the birth is a good time to make things official. . So marrying would necessitate the stepkids being attached to you a…

. but I will say that us women have a tendency to want more and more. Speak for yourself. the thank you's, the flowers, the kisses on the cheek, etc These are exactly the things I miss.

We have been together for 5 years and a three year old son (IUD malfunction). I do think it is time to make me an honest wife and quit pandering to his ex and his children. I was there for him during hard times, I proved my worth over and over again.

I plan on learning to braid my own hair. (I am clumsy) One thing I love is how silk scarves can be used to make someone look regal and feminine at the same time.

SO works night, midday and early shift in alternating patterns. He also volunteers a lot in the care of the elderly in our community and the union. So his days are quite busy and hectic. There are a few thinks I found crucial to deal with it while maintaining a healthy marriage and a patchwork family: sport can be anything! I am maintaining a big garden that gives us all year round. It can be a good exercise. I also use a cargo tricycle to transport shopping hauls, run errands and so on. For lon…

My SO works in a steel mill. So I too know the affects night shifts can have. When SO works the 2:00 - 10.00 shift (he wakes up at 12:00 and gets back at around 11:00 if the streets are not full) I normally do a warm breakfast. (Porridge, Pancakes, self made bread with tomatoes and dried herbs etc. When he leaves for work (whenever that may be, the job runs in three shifts around the clock and he is doing all shifts if necessary) I make sure he has something substantial to eat. The canteen is gh…

get your SO to help with the logistics. (Tables, Chairs, grocery washing dishes) Can your SO help with the cooking? Or baking of his favorite cheesecake? get concrete numbers of guests and their gender (males sometimes have these black holes in their stomach....;). ) I hope that your SO is truly appreciative and sings your praise for many a year to come!
