Congrats on your success, man! Be prepared next time ;) And on a side note, you drive a GT-R? It's my dream car! So much so, I run a website, Nissan GT-R World - I really hope I get the chance to be behind the wheel of one some day. I'm ridiculously curious as to how you can afford something like that so young!

Realising what the worst possible scenario is. It's usually nothing bigger than "sorry, I have a boyfriend" or being brushed off. As often as this quote has been said, it's still 100% true. "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take." Also, "Keep doing what you've always done and you'll keep getting what you've always got" - it's 100% true. Don't be afraid to learn from your mistakes. It's the only way to move forward consistently.

Does she value your time? If you're always free then you must not be living a fulfilling life, that's unattractive to her. Make your time more valuable so she can't abuse it. "hey, I'm free at this time today". Step back and occupy your time with things that interest you (that aren't her of course). Give it all a trial run, if she seems like she's distant than revaluate the relationship.

I'm proud of you! If it's been this long and she won't respond to a ballsy move like that then it probably wasn't going anywhere anyway. However, since you said it was around friends, then it could have been an uncomfortable setting. Girls can be picky when it's not a club or they're not alone. Try slower escalation with kino next time and establish a comfort with touch. Regardless, well done! Time to move forward and mingle baby!

What are some common misconceptions we've made about PUA/women?

This is gold. Flaking is usually a result of something you've missed (or they're just lazy fucks!) Definitely consider if you got the number/date out of submission, as in, she just agreed to get you off her back, and had the intention to flake later on. Keep your social calibration up to scratch and look for signs of true interest/connection and just keep moving forward with your life and take girls along with you for a fun ride when you pass them by, metaphorically of course ;)

Tyler from RSD covers this well, with some great humour. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OxhL4q2P4dY

I'm laughing the whole time. This can double as a stand up routine. I'd love to see self-improvement stand up comedy.

A few tips that may help. Don't see them on a regular basis. Doing so creates a habit and comfort. Can easily lead to emotions forming Ease up on the romantic gestures. I know it can be an easier path, but it will charm their emotions, not their body. Leave these things up to a 'boyfriend' On that note, think to yourself "Am I being a boyfriend, or a lover?" and proceed accordingly. Be open about your lifestyle. Some women are comfortable knowing the guys they sleep with aren't committed, so it …

Sounds like you've got a good starting list to go by. Being interesting is all about you discovering the things you love and being able to talk about it with excitement and passion. There's the obvious "interesting" factors like knowing another language, having an extreme hobby, but, there's also the simpler ones like being generally knowledgeable on most topics, having an opinion and living your life the way you want to!

And please realise I've never referred to as "getting it" as being in a club. I'm simply referring to the fact of being socially aware and switched on. A lot of men aren't aware of the situation they're in and the signs they're getting from those around them, and how to react accordingly.

Thanks for your input. We're all here to learn, and I enjoyed reading what you had to say. I'm happy I've sparked conversations about all this regardless of the originality and validity of my points - this is an open forum. I'd write a bigger reply, but it's almost 2am.

The cool thing about what's popular is that many different styles are popular within different groups of people. What's popular with the indies/hipsters isn't the same as surfers or skaters. Find what niche appeals to you and see what others are into. From the way you describe yourself, I feel similar to you. All the best.

thaifoodandriesling explained it well. Girls are ridiculously aware of guys that are switched on socially.

If everything I've said is information you already know, then that's great. Hopefully you're putting it into practice and are much more advanced socially than most guys.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you (even if content in my post disagrees) Pursue yourself as much as you can. There will always be someone out there who appreciates it. However, there are guys out there who just want to get laid for the night - they may not want anything long term. They just enjoy casual relationships. And to have consistent success, it's usually easiest to observe what trends are in, and do whatever you want to appeal to the type of girl you want to attract. If you're looking…

It was a late night piece I put together. If you don't get anything from it, then fair enough. Go to any nightclub and you'll witness the guys who are socially switched on, and the guys who aren't. However, in the clubs, not everyone's aim is to attract women.

I'm just a guy. By no means am I anywhere near a great PUA, nor am I trying to be though. I really enjoy social dynamics, and I've watched too many friends suffer with women.

I have a copy of "The definitive book of Body Language" and "Why Men Want Sex & Women Need Love" both by Allan & Barbara Pease (a married couple) They're a great insight into body language, and sex/relationships and the difference between sexes.

One of my points was to focus on you. Getting your life on track is so much more beneficial than focusing on what aspects girl's dig the most in guys. A quote I've enjoyed is, "Always have something better to do than pick up women" - I understand this is a seduction sub reddit, but developing your own, enjoyable, interesting life will be such a great seduction to women. Look around the world and see what interests you!

It's true. Movies aren't a great example, but it's tough to find visual examples of good body language in action. If anyone has any good examples, feel free to post/link.

It was late, and I was unsure on what tag to suggest. There's definitely a lot of good style blogs out there to learn from. My apologies for suggesting a tag that brings up more of a gay audience.

All good man! I definitely appreciated the write up. Odd that we're talking about masturbation here, but hey, we all do it (did it, in your case) - Hope it goes well for you. I'm in my early twenties - definitely don't need to do it. All the best.

Great read, thank you for taking the time to write this. I'm going to try my best. Especially since I have a girlfriend. Why bother with porn? Unless we're watching it together! Loved hearing your direct results from stopping. Thank you!
