What is feminism even trying to achieve? To me it seems like feminism is mostly a tool for already rich and powerful politicans and famous people to get even richer, powerful and famous. It’s not a movement for normal, poor or disadvantaged people. Have you ever heard a feminist say we need more female factory workers? No it’s always about how we need more female CEOs and that female musicians or actresses are unhappy about getting paid ”only” 3 millions instead of 5. It’s an elitist, rich people’s movement. | /r/AntiFeminists | 01/05/22 10:51 AM
Pressure to provide and make money as a manPre tax. Yeah that’s true about the social services etc. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 19/04/22 08:36 AM
Pressure to provide and make money as a manI’m always so surprised when I sometimes hear americans on reddit talking about how they earn 100k usd or more like it’s nothing special. I’m all like, wait since when is sweden such a poor country? Last year I earned (the swedish equivalent of) 47000 usd and it’s the most I’ve earned so far in a year (36 yr old, 12 years experience). I still earn less than the swedish average though. An engineer in sweden earns about 55000-80000 usd/year. A simple factory worker pleb like me, around 35000 -5000… | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 17/04/22 01:56 PM
Why Shes Not a Feminist.Excellent post. As someone who grew up in a religious cult, I’ve come up with this principle. If you’re accused of being a bad or evil person, or otherwise shamed for not agreeing with a group or a set of opinions, that’s a sign there is something fishy about the whole thing. | /r/MensRights | 02/04/22 10:22 AM
Reminder: 50% of all Marriages end in Divorce. 80-90% of all divorces is initiated by the wife, 90% of custody orders is given to Mothers.I’m also swedish and that’s my impression as well? U.S. Seems like a terrible place for fathers | /r/MensRights | 20/02/22 07:58 AM
What feminists don’t realize when men say “if we’re equal, does that mean I can hit women?”Thanks for thinking about me, I’m ok now though | /r/AntiFeminists | 23/01/22 12:04 PM
What feminists don’t realize when men say “if we’re equal, does that mean I can hit women?”Yeah. ”Men are bigger and stronger than women therefore women can’t abuse men”. Well try being a guy who weighs 75 kg and be married to a 120 kg woman. Plus she had the psychological advantage over me. Even my therapist said ”well if you were a woman, we would get the police involved, but because you’re a man, it’s different…” | /r/AntiFeminists | 23/01/22 11:09 AM
How ironicI did and I regret it. Thankfully I got away from that relationship and am now happy and single. I was also a brainwashed feminist at that time, though. | /r/AntiFeminists | 15/01/22 04:34 PM
A feminist told me to kill myselfI used to be in a cult, now atheist, and I can see the similarities. Cults often say ”ours is the only true religion”. Feminists see feminism as the only ”right” way to pursue equality. Otherwise you’re a bad and evil person it seems. | /r/AntiFeminists | 15/01/22 04:17 PM
How many of you have examples of mysandry in your own lives? My ex wife hit me several times. When I told my therapist she said. ”If you were a woman we would get the police involved but because you’re a man it’s different.” After that I asked for a new therapist. | /r/AntiFeminists | 09/01/22 04:52 PM
Anyone else hate these alpha male “self help” channels? You forgot gamma, omega, kappa, lambda… | /r/MensRights | 09/01/22 04:16 PM
Anyone else hate these alpha male “self help” channels?Yes, I don’t even want to be super masculine, but sometimes it feels like it’s the only way to be good enough for women and other men too. | /r/MensRights | 09/01/22 01:23 PM
My husband was sexually assaulted last night.Yes this sucks, when people seem to think that ”a woman can NEVER overpower a man”. Well, 1, you ever heard of weapons/tools. 2. Try being a guy who weighs 75 kgs and be married to a 120 kg woman. Even if I technically had stronger muscles than my ex wife, she could use her weight and block doorways etc. She also had the upper hand psychologically. | /r/MensRights | 19/12/21 07:39 AM
Domestic violence isn't domestic violence if a woman does itOk tell that to my ex wife who was both physically and verbally abusive. | /r/AntiFeminists | 18/12/21 02:13 PM
I'm thankful to this subreddit that I am not alone when it comes to feminism. It’s probably the ”it’s impossible to hurt men because they’re the oppressors” logic. Somehow ”patriarchy” makes us invincible. | /r/MensRights | 12/12/21 10:01 AM
What's with the "uncircumsised man are gross" in media?Same in sweden+scandinavia | /r/MensRights | 12/12/21 09:08 AM
What's with the "uncircumsised man are gross" in media?Stupud americans are stupud | /r/MensRights | 12/12/21 08:37 AM
What's with the "uncircumsised man are gross" in media? To me as a scandinavian, I only found out a few years ago (I’m 35) that circumcision was the norm in the U.S. I was all like what? I thought only a few extremely orthodox religious people got circumcised? Too bad I was wrong because it’s a terrible practice, I don’t want think you should be allowed to use religion as an excuse to harm others physically. Yes sadly it’s not illegal even here in atheist sweden. ”We have to honor freedom of religion”. Argh. Leave children’s genitals alone you sick b… | /r/MensRights | 12/12/21 08:29 AM
How do we know that the statistics on 97% and 1/3 of women have been sexually assualted are false?Yeah like the fact that kids with bigger ears are better at math… | /r/MensRights | 05/12/21 08:14 AM
I've long been deeply suicidal about this. Every time I see it I spiral into self harm and drug abuse... Most people I've brought this up to simply brush it off... The last person I lamented to (and I am NOT kidding) literally told me "it's probably good men are suicidal about this."Please tell me this isn’t real. What the hell. | /r/MensRights | 05/12/21 08:05 AM
All I did was question how they intend to get a man if they don’t want to clean. I’m not even some sort of big time anti feminist….*dump immediately | /r/AntiFeminists | 28/11/21 04:00 PM
Am I the only one who thinks gender roles are worse for men?I stopped being a career person recently. Now at 35 I have a brain dead job with decent pay but not stellar, I (almost) never work overtime and do the bare minimum at work. They neither value effort nor punish lack thereof at my workplace anyway. Then I go home and focus on fun things like gaming, synths and friends. Being focused on career isn’t for me and it just felt empty and boring. | /r/MensRights | 28/11/21 06:22 AM
And the foreskin has 20,000, but no one gives a shit because men are disposable mules.Did they just use ”sensitive” as an insult or am I missing something? | /r/MensRights | 27/11/21 10:47 AM
Isn't there any first world country (in Europe) that treats men better?I’m swedish but maybe denmark would be a good alternative for you, they aren’t as hyper nervous and woke as us crazy swedes, they’re more laid-back | /r/MensRights | 21/11/21 09:29 AM
Isn't there any first world country (in Europe) that treats men better?I think it’s important to remember that even if the mainstream media and politics here (sweden) are very woke and feminist, that’s not necessarily representative of people in general. There are plenty of decent non-woke men and women here. Non-feminists are kind of silenced ”at gun point” (I don’t mean it literally) though sadly | /r/MensRights | 21/11/21 09:24 AM
Pediatrician says, "Let's cut a penis off."As a scandinavian I was very surprised when I heard from a female american discord friend that all of her boyfriends had been circumsised. Note this was a couple of years ago and I didn’t know that circumsision was so big in the U.S. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/11/21 08:47 AM
Why do we need international men's day? Everyday is international men's day! (Response)Damn, that is sneaky and excellent. | /r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates | 20/11/21 08:31 AM
Someone casually throwing the word incel around like it’s nothingJust like how some people use the word gaslighting as if it means ”someone doing or saying something I don’t like”. | /r/MensRights | 24/10/21 11:34 AM
There is no patriarchy. The only gender bias that exists in the West favours women. Anyone who tells you otherwise wants to break you. Stay unbroken. The patriarchy is almost a pointless word because they change the meaning all the time depending on what they’re talking about. It’s a kind of motte and bailey | /r/MensRights | 24/10/21 11:22 AM
The hidden violence of womenIf someone points out terrible things like this, a common rebuttal is ”but it’s SO RARE for women to do this, it’s basically a statistical anomally…” then they go on to say that 80 or 90 or 99.7 % of all violent criminals are men. The exact number may change depending on what mood they’re in at the moment. | /r/MensRights | 23/10/21 06:33 AM
