4	What is feminism even trying to achieve? To me it seems like feminism is mostly a tool for already rich and powerful politicans and famous people to get even richer,powerful and famous. It’s not a movement for normal, poor or disadvantaged people. Have you ever heard a feminist say we need more female factory workers? No it’s always about how we need more female CEOs and that female musicians or actresses are unhappy about getting paid ”only” 3 millions instead of 5. 7	Pressure to provide and make money as a man I’m always so surprised when I sometimes hear americans on reddit talking about how they earn 100k usd or more like it’s nothing special. I’m all like, wait since when is sweden such a poor country? Last year I earned (the swedish equivalent of) 47000 usd and it’s the most I’ve earned so far in a year (36 yr old, 12 years experience). I still earn less than the swedish average though. An engineer in sweden earns about 55000-80000 usd/year. 3	My husband was sexually assaulted last night. Yes this sucks, when people seem to think that ”a woman can NEVER overpower a man”. Well, 1, you ever heard of weapons/tools. 2. 5	What's with the "uncircumsised man are gross" in media? To me as a scandinavian, I only found out a few years ago (I’m 35) that circumcision was the norm in the U.S. I was all like what? I thought only a few extremely orthodox religious people got circumcised? Too bad I was wrong because it’s a terrible practice, I don’t want think you should be allowed to use religion as an excuse to harm others physically. 11	Am I the only one who thinks gender roles are worse for men? I stopped being a career person recently. Now at 35 I have a brain dead job with decent pay but not stellar, I (almost) never work overtime and do the bare minimum at work. They neither value effort nor punish lack thereof at my workplace anyway. Then I go home and focus on fun things like gaming, synths and friends.
