I've seen longer sentences for weed possession..... And weed's pretty fucking tame in the grand scheme of things

Notice how they also never explicitly refer to the kid as a minor. "Boy", "schoolboy", "youngster", etc, but they'll never actually say that this woman is a pedophile.

Of all the possible things to get upset about, you pick PORN?? Honestly, people aren't even trying to disguise the fact that they're just aching to pick a fight anymore...

It's the phrasing that bothers me more than anything. Like, it'd be one thing if they said something like "We care about representation, so we strive to have at least an equal amount of minority writers", or something like that. Instead they are basically saying "Fuck white men".

I agree with this. There's not really much of a reason to get triggered by what is clearly meant in jest, and likely a joke between friends (or at the very least, I doubt Perry cares too much). It's not some stranger on the street or anything like that, and, in my opinion, it's people taking jokes too seriously and getting offended that could very quickly lead to tumblr-ish behaviors.

Wait, do you have a source of some sort for that? Because that's legitimately terrifying if it's true.

Sadly, it doesn't work that way. You need to get some proof that you are in fact a woman, and not just saying so. I had a couple friends that had to jump through all sorts of hoops to get verification so they could change their gender. It involved filing 60 days ahead of time, not being able to leave town during that time, having a doctor verify that you are serious about making the change, etc etc.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
