Complimenting 'works so well'? Disagree.

Nope. Texting implies aloofness. Assuming you've already built attraction, it's the better way to go. I like how people have a few experiences and think they've come upon a pick-up epiphany. Sometimes this forum feels so PUA 1.0...

What a rubbish post. Roosh is an OG in the PUA world and puts in so much work. 99.9% of the people in this forum wouldn't be fit to lick his boots when it comes to seduction. The fact you'd pull the typical hater pseudo-psychology bullshit about "getting back" and "hating women" speaks volumes about how little you know or care about the topic at hand. Deconstructing feminism is totally germaine to the academic side of pick-up. Why does that bother you so much? Roissy is good when talking about f…

I totally agree. Women don't get that because they have the luxury of sitting there and getting approached. It's a numbers game, but that's no excuse to sacrifice quality of your approach.

I know man, I've been doing the online thing and have banged dozens upon dozens from there, yada yada. No one is getting a 40% close rate from EACH FRESH MESSAGE they send is my point. Once you get them to bite, sure.
/r/seduction27/11/12 06:02 AM

So would I. But 35-40% close (or even date rate) is still bullshit.
/r/seduction27/11/12 05:50 AM
2

Agree on the bullshit. I'm easily in the top 20% of looks for guys and the 8-10 response rate is not anywhere NEAR 35%. Unless poster looks like a male model, also not buying it. Women are way more superficial online.
/r/seduction27/11/12 03:25 AM

Yes, it does. Meeting online people AA is no where near real life AA, IMO.

All the people talking shit about the author: You're clearly not familiar with Roosh (signs you're a pick up noob #23) and you really have no room to be calling him "whiny" or critiquing his game. The man is a master.

It's a shame. Female hypergamy is vicious and they can't really help it. Lots of lonely overeducated fading women with too high standards. They might get hitched, but it'll be to a beta they despise and they'll secret yearn for the jerk who pumped and dumped them a decade earlier. Life is sad. I personally wish I could be more attracted to women on their 'achievements' than their looks, but mother nature if a cruel mistress.

I agree so much. I'm 6'1, lean, and have a good face. Sometimes during a bad outing I will feel like the ugliest dude on earth. Women have so many types and respond to so many different things that it's definitely not the easy mode my other guy friends think it is. I date girls because I put in WORK. I spend HOURS gaming online and in person almost every day. I've seen uglier and shorter dudes outpull me easily all the time with tighter game.
/r/seduction20/10/12 08:11 PM

In DC, you would be surprised how many mediocre women demand a 6'1 or taller lawyer who resembles Ryan Gosling. Even worse, their standards don't change as they get older/fatter.
/r/seduction20/10/12 08:06 PM

I kind of disagree. Short guys with a lot of muscle end up looking even shorter.

I don't understand the down votes. The best people to listen to advice are successful men, not women. I don't trust a damn thing a woman says when it comes to seduction advice. Compliments, poems, and candlelit dinners may make her feel fuzzy inside, but they won't help you get her pants off any more quickly unless she's already into you. In that case, why waste time with all that crap unless you're going to get serious/long-term?

This subreddit is like PUA-lite. It reeks of quasi-betas and white knights who don't quite have the balls to embrace a more...Rooshian school of thought that actually produces results. They like to pretend it's all inner game and spout ridiculous shit like "leave her better than you found her" so they don't feel like jerks. Here's a hint: A woman never feels "better" after being left by an alpha guy.
/r/seduction12/10/12 02:09 PM

No idea why this was downvoted. Anyone who think that seduction isn't a numbers game is a fool. Seduction has never been about "get any and/or every girl you want". That's impossible.
/r/seduction12/10/12 02:08 PM

You don't get it. A woman's self perception is shaped by those around her. Yes, even the prettiest women are often the most insecure, but that doesn't change her sexual market value and how often she gets hit on. The truth of the matter is that women who are less than a 7 (it's an approximately, don't need to be immature and say 'what about 6.9's?') will respond more positively to a wider variety of techniques, including compliments. If you think you game a 6 the same way you game a 9, you're cl…

Wow. You have NO counterpoint to what I'm saying so you what do what most intellectual featherweights do in a debate : You try to play armchair psychologist against someone you don't even know. You've already determined I'm 'angry' and 'resentful' towards women? You don't even know me. I also think all women are evil? How do your fingers type out all this nonsense you've literally pulled out of your rear? It must be easy to win debates when all you can do is make-up nonsense about who you disagr…

Complimenting women does not build attraction. It can increase existing attraction, but jesus guys, complimenting women to build attraction is the way of the beta, and that shit does not work on any girl above a 7.

This post is silly. IOIs are essential for knowing when to escalate and even if to waste your time once you've started an interaction.
/r/seduction11/10/12 02:36 PM

Really? Complimenting girls does not build attraction unless she already likes you, and it especially does not work on American women.

Women like to avoid awkward situations, so I would argue more important than checking off a YES/NO is HOW she responds with body language and eye contact. You can get a girl to give you a million cheek kisses and she may not be interested. And if you're at the point where she can bite your neck, just kiss her already.

Back when I was beta, I was in love with the idea of only one girl for me and that's it. As I've become better looking and have more game, monogamy utterly bores. Relationships are even worse. I feel married after 5 months, and most of my friends can't understand how I'm so bored given how hot she is. I'm actually kind of scared, because unlike most AFCs, I have the power to reliably game and bang new girls, and it's a huge rush. I don't know if I'll ever be satisfied just banging one chicks. Va…

Robert Pattinson is no doubt an alpha compared to the hordes of averages dudes simply because of his fame and looks. But personality wise, he's a beta. Being a celebrity isn't so special if you're dating other celebrities, so if you think that is enough to keep KStew loyal, you're wrong. He's awkward, quiet, and probably a "nice guy". Contrast this is a strong willed and commanding alpha director who looks great for his age. KStew cheating is a prime exercise in female hypergamy.

Cold, brutal, and honest. I can hear a million feminist brain hamsters falling off their wheels. Hypergamy is a cold mother. Look at Kristen Stewart cheating on her good looking beta (Robert) with the alpha older man of power (Rupert).

Roosh is fantastic. People running the fool's errand of trying to put a "good face" on PUA don't like him because of his unflinching honesty and observations. Yeah, PUA is all about 'self-improvement' and 'being yourself'. If by that you mean having sex with lots of pretty girls (which is nothing to be ashamed about). I've never understood this whole 'quest to get a girlfriend'. Wrap it up and sow your wild oats.

Honestly? You're either too clingy/insecure or (more likely) the guys your dating are a bit out of your league and you're not cute enough. Seddit is pretty white knightey for a PUA forum, but trust me: It's probably your looks or your clingy behaviour. Also, don't fuck them on the first two dates.
/r/seduction10/07/12 05:34 AM

Roosh V recommends against it and I agree. You need to exude masculinity and women need to sense you're a sexual being, not a neutered guy. Sexual chemistry and tension is far more palpable when you've got stocked libido. There's Something About Mary is BS. Don't do it.
/r/seduction29/05/12 09:28 PM

Honestly, I wouldn't bother with online dating if you're trying to improve your game. Everything is far more superficial online, (age, height, looks). Guys who are 5-7 can pull 7-9's with tight game in real life, online it often goes the other way since every woman's market value is way overvalued due to the flood of male attention. Just my two cents. If you were very good looking you could clean up online, but for more regular folk...real life is better. And honestly: I found your profile a bit…

Seems like FAG (fuckup avoidance game). Most people don't realize game is to keep your prosects interested or win over borderline cases. 40% of the time the girl isn't feeling you, and 40% she is. Within the first ten seconds 80% of women have made up their mind. This chick would have banged you barring any serious fuckup.

I'm not sure what everyone else said, but the fact the top comment is to "do the approaching yourself" is sad considering this is r/seduction and shouldn't be full of the orbiters you find on the rest of reddit. I''ll give it you bluntly: 1) Be hot. This is mostly out of your control, facially. But I would do cardio, light weight lifting, and yoga. Eat healthy and avoid excess carbs and sugars. Even a plain-faced slender woman is a queen among she-beasts. Put on make up, but don't over do it. 2)…

Men who want women sexually "too much" are douchebags? The primacy of shaming men for their sexual desire is a staple of the feminist house of cards, not seduction or any sort of biological view of the world. I can't believe I'm reading this tripe on r/seduction.
/r/seduction28/02/12 05:06 PM

"Applied to women it simply means that you should not want anything from them." But this is ridiculous. I want access to their mouths and vaginas, and so does everyone on this forum, or it wouldn't exist.

False dichotomy. There's nothing wrong with talking shit about a cockblocker, an unpleasant/rude target, or a beta orbiter ruining your game. This "new, friendlier PUA" is a joke. Can you at least define what 'treating women like peole' even means? That's nonsense. Unless you're beating her or selling her into slavery, who cares? Do you not get how treating hot women like they're nothing special gets the ginas tingling?
/r/seduction27/02/12 05:20 PM

The post is silly, because many of us will do better once we objectify women. Treating them like they're nothing special is the key to great game, as long as it doesn't come from a place of bitterness. Dealing with DC harpies for years on end will end any illusion most men would have about pedestalizing women. You just don't care after a certain point.

Cool, I can do all that without picking up dinner. If you want to throw away your cash with something I can do with a few drinks, be my guest.

How is this the seduction community when PEOPLE ARE DOING DINNER DATES WITH WOMEN THEY HAVEN'T BANGED YET? Doesn't anyone read Roissy or Roosh? Seriously. Don't do dinner dates. Drunk Chipotle after drinking and making out is one thing, but if you haven't railed her, you shouldn't be saying 'check please'. She can't judge you for not buying dinner if you don't eat. Eating also negates the effect of the alcohol you've been drinking and makes your breath stinky. I also trade off buying drinks with…

Disagree with everyone around here saying not to wear suits. I've integrated suit game into my dating life and it's done wonders. Also good to bait an IOI (lots of compliments on my suit fit/pocket square). The caveat is that you have to act like a guy in a well-tailored suit, very cool and charming. If you act like an insecure shy guy it obviously won't work. If they ask why I'm wearing a suit, I'll say I just bought it and wanted to 'try it out', and tell them not to get a big head (in a playf…

DC is such an ugly festering pit of frumpy girls from the midwest. No dime pieces like that, ever. I'm jealous.

It sucks, but I'm lucky enough to live in (kinda) diverse DC. If I was in some smaller MD or VA town, I'd be in misery. I grew up around white girls and was pretty much only attracted to them until the last two years. I've had to deprogram myself but now I'll take a slim Asian/Indian/mixed girl ANY DAY over an equivalently hot white girl. I also had to get over my fear of dark nipples, which I mostly did as long as the skin isn't too light (the stark contrast is weird).

I wouldn't even acknowledge who she's dated in the past. You bringing it up shows that you care, and you shouldn't. Same principle applies when gaming taken girls: Ignore the BF and plow. Guys who try to keep bringing up the BF (to put him down or convince her to break with him) are shooting themselves in the foot.

Leave her better than you found her is kind of bullshit. I'll cite Roissy: http://heartiste.wordpress.com/2011/09/09/leaving-her-better-than-you-found-her-not-likely/ And there's nothing wrong with being a player or calling women pieces of ass.

The people saying "don't put much emphasis on race" are undoubtedly going to be white guys who have it easy as SHIT when it comes to hooking up with white girls. I'm a 6'1 lanky (but well toned) mixed race (not black) and let me say this: Focusing my efforts on fellow "ethnic" girls has netted me FAR HIGHER rates of return. If I approach a random white girl the odds of her feeling my vibe is probably less than 10%. If I talk to an Arab, Indian, Asian, or mixed girl, that number JUMPS to 50%. Not…
