What lol? That’s exactly my point. It was a boys group and obviously enough women had a problem with it that now it’s for everyone. Something you’d rarely see happen with girls/women’s spaces. We would just be like “ok fine” Oh and I should add girls still have Girl Scouts, and no, boys cant join that one.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 02:45 AM

“Women don’t care if you have a men’s group” Why don’t we have Boy Scouts anymore?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/07/26 02:23 AM

I get that but there are no shortage of women around. Like is it that much of a reassurance that your man only has (for example) 50,000 potential partners in your city as opposed to 100,000? Cheaters gonna cheat, unfortunately.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/07/26 05:46 PM

If you wore shoes with a subtle lift, like boots or dress shoes she probably wouldn’t even notice. Makeup, yea, because it’s considered feminine. But if you got an alt or “rock” asthetic you can probably get away with eyeliner and the right girls would find it very attractive.

“They may interpret is confirmation that it’s the best he can get.” For most of these guys it IS the best they can get. Nothing wrong with that, but the sooner you realize that the happier you’ll be. Alternative is keep watching porn and assuming you’re “worth” hooking up with a model but it’s the women that have a problem.

Beer, video games, and social media. In a lot of cases though I agree with OP. The men here complaining are like 3’s or 4’s holding out for a baddie and then whine that no one wants them because “even average women are going after Chad” or some bullshit.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/26 01:16 PM

OP works in customer service. Gets asked regular ass customer service question. “I’m not your mommy, little boy!” I feel stupider than I was 5 minutes ago having read this. Seriously if someone asking you to help login to their account or check lost and found is so triggering you need a different career. Maybe try tollbooth operator.

Have you considered watching football? I’m trying to get back into the dating scene and have been studying up on Love Island. NFL preseason is around the corner

I don't care if you make a million dollars, you're putting in the same amount of work, it should be equal at home. Either way you're entitled to your opinion I guess, but I would never date someone like you. And I think most women wouldn't either

It shouldn’t be based on income, it should be based on hours worked. Sure, if one person works 10 hours part time and one has a 9-5, the first would have more free time to vacuum and stuff. But if we’re both working regular full time jobs and yours just happens to pay more, then GTFOH, pull your own weight.

Whats so good about Eastern women that you can’t find in America? My thought on passport bros is they seem to get women who are looking for a green card or impressed with their mediocre income because their country is so poor. Hot take here but that sounds awful for both. I’d like a girl to stay with me because she likes me, not for fear of getting kicked out of the country or going back to poverty, meanwhile she’s secretly miserable

All these scandals just became public knowledge, I’m sure he won’t have hordes of progress coeds trying to jump into bed with him now. It’s kinda like finding a girl that dated Jeffrey Dahmer in high school and saying “I guess I should start eating people”

The same parents that coddle their sons do the same to their daughters, if not more so because of the sexist expectation that they need to be protected.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/07/26 04:52 PM

Idk, like I said if it’s painfully obvious.. like I’m sure if I saw Ryan Gosling in person I might be like “wow, ok I get it” But you’ve never heard female friends or coworkers talking about some guy you know and how hot he is and been like “him? Really? Just looks like a regular dude to me.”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 02:08 PM

Personally I didn’t notice that attractive boys got interest from girls because most guys cant tell when another guy is attractive (unless they are 10/10 Calvin Klein model looking). So my view was warped because I saw “oh. That guy looks like me, and girls like him. Maybe I need more ‘game’” Eventually realized I’m not attractive but no, it wasn’t obvious. Maybe it should have been but oh well.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/07/26 12:50 PM
7

My experience is the same but I think that’s fundamentally different than the idea of “game”. I pretty much only date coworkers because if a woman is forced to spend 1000 hours with me she might think funny or nice or whatever. Someone with theoretical “game” can meet a girl, chat her up and get her number on the spot, even if they aren’t that good looking

What you got wrong is that money and status ADD to that primal attraction. You’re thinking “she gets wet looking at Chad but dates the nerdy doctor bc she wants a good life.” But in reality when she finds out the nerdy doctor is a doctor she gets wet looking at HIM. Sexual attraction isn’t all about looks for women. Men neither, but women even more so.

Thanks for the psych 101 ass take lol. Some people like having fun with attractive people and most 19 year olds arent looking for their soulmate. It’s not that deep.

Maybe it was just fun? Personally now that I’m old I don’t want an 18 year old. But when I was 18 and horny I would have totally banged a hot cougar and not felt the slightest bit bad or taken advantage of.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 09:14 PM

According to Reddit it’s because you were taken advantage of.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 08:11 PM

Thats women you dated (or are interested I guess). No one wants to see that shit in public.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 01:57 PM

Women dress like that in part because guys think women’s bodies are hot. Women aren’t attracted to men in the same way. If you are tall and have broad shoulders they can tell even if you’re wearing long sleeves and loose pants or a 3 piece suit. If you’re a guy no one wants to see you “showing skin”. Except gays.

Isn’t it easier for insecure men to act confident behind a screen than in person? My god, Gen Z men will never know the downright fear, but also thrill, of walking up to a beautiful stranger in a bar and saying “Hi, I’m Wes”

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/26 11:55 PM

I think it matters a lot to SOME women. To others not nearly as much. So yeah you don’t need to find someone who doesn’t care about sex. But you aren’t going to please a size queen either. But you can find someone who’s ok with it, maybe even prefers it

I don’t think it’s true, but there is something to be said for the way women value success, status, accomplishment, wealth etc more than men. And I’m not just talking about “gold diggers”. Most women factor this stuff in to some degree. When I was 27 I had a hot body, full head of hair, but l also lived with my parents and wore a name tag to work. Is it inconceivable to think that when I’m 50 and have sold several businesses, own a home outright and belong to a country club, I won’t be at least …
/r/PurplePillDebate13/06/26 04:51 PM

Not at all. I’m 50 pounds overweight and would like to get in shape first. Not that I can’t get someone to go out with me in my current state, but I wouldn’t be comfortable with it.

I live alone and rarely clean my bathroom. Maybe if I’m having people over or if, eventually, it gets kinda gross. But if you move in with me and feel like the toilet should be scrubbed every other day, thats your problem, not mine

You do realize that in that scenario where a man is willing to provide for you without working, you’d be raising kids, not just sitting around working on your tan. Furthermore you don’t have to be a woman for that. Theres plenty of stay at home dads and it’s becoming less stigmatized every day.

Women aren’t online. Women arent at bars or hobbies. Guys, do women even exist?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 10:48 PM

Y’all doing too much. When I was married, my direct deposit went into the joint checking account. Hers went into the same account. Bills come out. Never had to worry about who is contributing what percentage or who paid what bills.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/26 03:16 PM

If that’s true it wouldn’t be any better as a woman bro. Some of what you said is true for attractive women (dating apps, attention on social media, etc) But I guarantee you an ugly woman can become homeless, has to work, and isn’t flooded with Tinder matches. And we didn’t even mention periods and childbirth.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 11:28 PM

No way. It’s called “social proof”. Girls see you hanging with other girls being liked/respected by them and subconsciously think “ok this guys not a total creep/weirdo/racist whatever” It absolutely helps your chances
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/26 01:58 AM

No, but if a woman is friends with you she obviously sees your personality in a positive light (maybe not your looks). So unless you’re a real uggo, she might be inclined to say “hey, you should meet my friend Jess, I think you’d hit it off”
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 05:14 PM
4

Not really the same. Traditionally, those couples would be married and have kids. Which means A: the roles are more equal since the non-working partner is doing childcare, and B: there are legal protections in the case of divorce. Most people are fine with that arrangement. Being a “stay home girlfriend/boyfriend” is just stupid.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 03:14 PM
16

The worst part is say they break up after 5 years. They aren’t married and don’t have kids so there’s no divorce hearing, or child support arrangements. And you just.. gave up 5 years of career progression and are starting with 0, for what, a free vacation? Like is he contributing to her retirement account this whole time? I doubt it. Idk I’m not judging but that seems absolutely shortsighted and crazy to me. Ok maybe I am judging a little.

Doctors mostly work on old and overweight people. And they’re getting paid. No one is paying me to not check out someone’s ass if they’re walking in front of me in yoga pants.

I’m boring, apathetic, mediocre, and stagnant anyway. It’d be great (although unrealistic obviously) if that’s what women went for. And for the record, I don’t want to go out and become all “fun” and attractive just to get a date. I just want to lift, play guitar, and raise my daughter.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/26 04:09 PM

As someone who used to hit on lots of girls at bars, I think I’d probably prefer 4 matches a month because at least you know they’re interested
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/26 06:23 PM

They aren’t mutually exclusive. I don’t think the blue pill says “become a complete subservient househusband” but it’s more like self-reflection. If your wife feels she’s constantly cleaning up after you then either A: she’s not seeing everything you do and communication can help or B: you truly are slacking, and yes, doing the dishes in this case will help. Doesn’t mean you can’t still go the gym though.

Jfc I guess you’re just trying to be a victim here but I’ve never heard a guy bring up Adele and NOT mention how talented she is. She’s a goddamn national treasure. Meryl Streep, Helen Mirren? They’re not respected? Caitlin Clark, AOC, Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Ayn Rand, Margaret Thatcher, Janis Joplin, Tracy Chapman never inspired any men?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/26 04:33 AM
3

Thats retarded. More men watch women’a sports than women do. And seriously? So no guys listen to Adele? Or watch Melissa McCarthy movies? The best selling author of the 21st century is literally a woman, but you’re right, no men ever read Harry Potter, cause she’s not a piece of ass.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/26 04:03 AM
1

Ok but you can’t deny that a lot of people (men or women) would be more likely to stop to help a woman. If I see a dude on the side of the road I go “eh I’m sure he’s got it” And that IS sexism.

It’s not gay to look at/critique men’s bodies as a bodybuilder for the same reason OP is wrong. If you’re not attracted to the person there is nothing inherently sexual about their body. So to me, watching Mr. Olympia is probably like some racing fan watching NASCAR. I don’t want to fuck the guys and he doesn’t want to fuck the cars but we’re enjoying the competition and artistry.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/26 01:05 PM

Yea but theres a spectrum right? If you are. 1 or 2 on the Kinsey scale it might be simpler to just say “I’m straight” rather than explaining your entire sexual history and all the nuance that doesn’t really matter most of the time.

Mitchell Robinson claimed he was dealing with mental health issues and it’s ok to seek help, and then carried on a historic run to get the Knicks to their first NBA finals in decades. THAT is what positive masculinity looks like. And that’s what we need more of.

I haven’t seen the show but women, although they do have high standards, tend to have higher EQ and probably come off less judgmental and more tactful. I’m a fat man. No woman has ever called me fat. Many have said I’m not their type. Thats the difference.

Stay at home dads are thing. But also how many stay at home parents do you know in this economy? If you were a woman you’d have to go through pregnancy and childbirth and a 90% chance you would STILL have a boss and work 40 hours a week. Maybe YOU just need a better job lol. I like my boss.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/26 01:49 PM

It’s real arousal. Also the unspoken part is “attractive” men age like fine wine. Women don’t value youth in itself as much as men when compared to facial features, body type, height, status, etc. So someone like Brad Pitt can still be considered hot at 60. He was also very attractive at 25. If you’re fugly when you’re 21 as a guy, you don’t suddenly become hot with gray hair and wrinkles.

Don’t want to be the primary parent? Fine. Find a guy that is none of those things. Dont want to give up your career? Fine, find a guy who doesn’t want a SAH wife. Easy. /r/PurplePillDebate13/05/26 04:34 PM

I have 50/50 and no support. Ex makes more than me, but not a huge difference (20%). Both have “good” careers. It’s often the case that one parent has either taken time off to be SAHP or has taken an easier job/closer to home, some kind of sacrifice. So that when divorce comes and that person goes back into full on career mode, they are significantly behind the other parent, and where they hypothetically could have been. I think that’s why child support exists even in 50/50 with 2 working parent…

Sureee. Then what happened? Did the Easter Bunny show up and give everyone a pet unicorn?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 01:12 PM

Of course but if more men than ever are good people and that’s something women go for, why are fewer men having sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 01:11 PM

Ugh there is nothing straight women hate more than men.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 12:42 PM

Nah I see his point. I was married once. Can’t get a date now. Idk what she saw in me. Maybe just right place, right time. But if I came in here when I was married talking all “just be yourself” it’d be like asking a bunch of financial advisors for real advice and some crypto bro chimes in like “just buy Bitcoin in 2011 like I did bro”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/05/26 03:27 AM

Who’s mad at Ciara? Russel Wilson is arguably a future hall of famer
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 05:35 PM

I don’t think we’re allowed to talk about politics here but I understand the nice guy > RP pipeline. I’m curious what makes you think that’s why people voted for Trump? Women like confident attractive men. Therefore let’s elect the guy that thinks immigrants eat stray cats? Because that helps you how?
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 02:42 PM

The source is u/PattayaVagabond’s head. I’ve seen all these shows, none of this is canonically true, or even makes sense. Could have said Sheldon Cooper or Richard Hendricks, neither of which were mentioned in the show but at least it’s believable.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/05/26 12:21 PM

I’ve never seen a portrayal of autistic men in fiction outside of Rainman
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 11:53 PM
11

There won’t always be “a nice guy to step up” so having a kid with a scumbag will always be a risky proposition. And I know some stand-up guys who have filled that role, my brother-in-law and my fucking awesome 3 nephews comes to mind. But, as men, we absolutely need to do a better job of shaming dead beat dads. You know a guy that hasn’t talked to his kids in years? That is NOT ok. This needs to be a thing, men.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/05/26 04:59 AM
1

What makes a man good at it?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 01:54 AM
4

No way, if that were true way more guys would be having casual sex. Most guys I know are pretty much always wifed up. I’d say more than half of guys at bars are looking for whatever they can get really. Which includes but is not limited to random hookups
/r/PurplePillDebate03/05/26 12:04 AM
2

Not really. I always talked to girls at bars, and sure, if someone was looking for a ONS I’d oblige, but I’m generally a serial monogamist and wouldn’t mind calling a girl a couple days later for a real date
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 10:36 PM

Nice
/r/PurplePillDebate02/05/26 10:35 PM

Thats the ideal, just hard to stay motivated that way imo
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 06:42 PM

I mean then you still have the results I guess. I’d rather be a millionaire with a six pack, cool clothes, and no girlfriend, than a fat slob with no money and no girlfriend. Seriously though I went through something similar with fitness. I thought if I had a great body women would like me. Turns out they didn’t. Now I’m trying to get back into the gym for my health but since that illusion was shattered I find it impossible to stay motivated. So idk let’s keep telling guys they should self impro…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 06:34 PM

Not really. I mean yes we are the same species, but men and women generally view sex, dating, and attraction differently.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/04/26 05:08 PM

Is he responsible, ie if he says he’s going to do something does he follow through? Is he ambitious? Not just about career goals (although that’s ok too). But like some kind of hobby or passion besides XBox and internet porn? Don’t expect him to change. If he drinks a lot (which may be fine for you) don’t expect him to quit all of a sudden when you get married or have a baby. Does he skip leg day? He’ll always take the easy way out.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 08:25 PM
2

Yes and no. Some people are better than others at hiding their true nature. But most of the guys I’ve met that end up being deadbeat dads for example are EXACTLY the type of guy you’d think would end up being a deadbeat dad. And yet someone had a baby with him.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 08:13 PM

I think I’d rather live in a world where women didnt automatically distrust me until proven otherwise than one where I can say “at least I don’t x”
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 02:23 PM
1

Kinda? Like 1 out of 3 women get assaulted in their lifetime. What is it for men assuming you’re already and adult and not in prison (not to trivialize prison rape or child abuse, but my point is if you’re a 20 something or 30 something non-criminal man, you get to just walk around all day not worrying about rape, which women can’t do)?
/r/PurplePillDebate25/04/26 01:39 PM
5

Idk I’m pretty glad I’m not being raped for one. Pretty big perk of being a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 09:11 PM

Idk I married a woman once. Wouldn’t recommend it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 12:04 PM

Not if you’re ugly
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 04:05 AM

But I don’t want to improve. I want to drink, watch sports, and be fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/04/26 01:14 AM

Bro if you are only “loyal” because you have no other options then whats going to happen the second you meet another woman who finds you attractive?
/r/PurplePillDebate23/04/26 02:48 PM
23

The truth is some awkward guys are good people, some are bad people. Some charismatic guys are good people. Some are bad people. Real life isn’t a bad high school movie where the “jocks” are all bullies and idiots and the “nerds” are all great guys with a heart of gold who just deserve a chance.

Cost is a huge barrier for cosmetic surgery for most people. Especially young people. I’m 40 and now that I can afford a nose job I don’t really want one, but when I was 25 and desperately single I lived paycheck to paycheck. Steroids have always been fairly common among gym goers but honestly, most people don’t have the discipline/time to work out like that so I don’t think it’s going to increase.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 03:00 PM
-1

Of course but which is a bigger problem? Eating disorders are terrible but they affect maybe 1% of people? Meanwhile in America something like 50% of us are overweight or obese.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/04/26 02:55 PM
-2

“Wealth never made a pussy wet” I don’t think that’s true. It’s not the wealth per se but the underlying qualities it serves as a proxy for: intelligence, work ethic, ambition, charisma. There are obvious examples of “wanting access to it” where some girl is repulsed by a passport bro or old rich guy but is willing to “fake it” for expensive gifts and vacations. But in a lot of cases success, along with other things, can make someone actually attractive
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 01:37 AM
3

OP is not wrong about the concept but he’s got the range wrong. 18 is way too young, I think it starts at 21 and probably goes to about 34.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 01:29 AM
-4

It’s not about holding it over anyone’s head, it literally makes you more attractive. Even if the woman is successful and super rich already
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 01:27 AM
3

No, it’d usually be on the bed first
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/26 12:17 AM

That’s why I’m not allowed in the Met anymore :/
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/26 06:20 PM

You had me in the first half but despite what Andrew Tate has told you liberals actually get laid, and we are in fact “normal men” lol
/r/PurplePillDebate17/04/26 06:07 AM

No need to justify, u/Newduud, it’s 2026, do you
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/26 11:31 AM

*whoresome
/r/PurplePillDebate13/04/26 08:56 PM

Looks, intelligence, free time. Literally what doesn’t peak in your 20s?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 09:21 PM
2

As long as they’re not assholes and you’re making an effort. If you quit your high paying job to sit at home all day a woman is going to lose respect for you. But plenty of people get laid off and stay with their partners till they find a new job
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 02:06 PM
9

It’s not that you have to splurge on your dates to make them like you (although I guess it doesn’t hurt). It’s more so that having a good career signals positive attributes like ambition, intelligence, and work ethic. Most women will be more attracted to a handsome doctor than a handsome, aimless guy who works at the mall.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/04/26 01:21 PM
1

I agree but most people disagree with us. ESPECIALLY about women
/r/PurplePillDebate11/04/26 10:37 PM
5

So if a really attractive or famous man has a lot of sex (easy for them), we should shame them also
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 06:51 PM
3

Slutshame men. Girl you’re going out with Randall? He is like the town bicycle. Have fun with that used up dick.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 06:43 PM
1

It’s unreasonable because you’re ignoring the market. You’re like the guy who lists his house too high because he “did a bunch of research” and it sits on the market for a year. It’s worth EXACTLY what someone will pay for it. No more, no less. If all you can bang is fat, single mothers. Then that is EXACTLY what you are worth. Sorry to break the news
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 01:31 PM
2

You can be skinny and ugly. It’s not a weight contest, it’s an attractiveness contest. So guess what? If you only attract overweight women and don’t like them, then yes, your standards are too high.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 01:26 PM
16

Because they are getting laid
/r/PurplePillDebate10/04/26 04:13 AM
2

That’s a good point. But if I’m looking for a relationship it doesn’t mean I can’t use the same advice for the initial stages (approaching, flirting, asking out). “Just socialize like normal humans do” half the guys here are autistic and the rest are borderline so thats like telling someone who never learned how to swim they don’t need lessons
/r/PurplePillDebate08/04/26 01:34 AM

I asked out a customer once and she said no. Then a couple months later she asked if I wanted to hang out and when I got to her apartment she needed help moving a couch lol. For the record I wasn’t really put off by this, and she cooked dinner so I’d say that is fair
/r/PurplePillDebate07/04/26 04:53 PM
15

Their ideology? If I said the KKK is bad because they exploit angry young men and make them racist, would you say “you don’t care about those men, you only care because it goes against your ideology” Technically true I guess, but “misogyny and white supremacy are bad” should be everybody’s ideology?
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 02:57 AM

Why if it’s clearly working for her? As a fat man I’m pretty sure women wouldn’t fawn over me if I wore tight tee shirts or tank tops. But if they DID then guess what I would wear every day.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/04/26 02:46 PM
8

If the accounts are in both their names it is her money.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 02:30 PM

I don’t know many couples that dont just have joint accounts? My wife and I had a checking and a savings. Direct Deposit goes into checking. Bills come out. I can’t imagine giving an grown ass woman an “allowance” like they are a teenager
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 02:17 PM
7

So we just totally ostracize women who don’t marry early and submit to their husbands? That just sounds like the Middle East, India, or Lakewood, NJ, and I wouldn’t want to live in any of those places.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 06:56 PM
1

There are drastically more straight men but that doesn’t change the fact that you’d have an endless sea of options too if you started hooking up with dudes. Hell you don’t even have to talk to them if you don’t want, go to a gloryhole and stick your dick in it. There you go, sexual power!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 03:11 AM
0

If you don’t want to date any of those 10 then it’s exactly the same as having 0 options. Actually it’s worse because there is a nonzero chance one of them won’t take no for an answer.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/26 02:57 AM

I blame anime
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/26 10:41 PM

We’re talking about relationships, not pickup attempts, obviously enough women DO go for it or it wouldn’t be a thing
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/26 01:55 PM
2

Not saying you’re wrong but the obvious question is why do young women go for these relationships then?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/26 01:19 PM
2

50/50 actually so maybe I don’t technically count for this lol. She’s a good mother actually
/r/PurplePillDebate30/03/26 11:40 AM
10

I am one so I guess
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 06:35 PM

These sound like excuses. Autism I guess is valid, but if you’re high functioning I think you can learn coping techniques. And race is a factor for some women but theres like 4 billion people in Asia and another 2 billion in Africa. Who’s having all these babies?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/03/26 01:53 AM
3

I never met an adult who can’t read. I’d say pretty good.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 08:00 PM

I’ve also noticed that the guys saying that are never the ones doing the actual dangerous jobs. OP probably has this discussion daily with his coworkers at GameStop.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 04:19 PM

And 90% of teachers are women so all those tough manly builders can read a tape measure lol
/r/PurplePillDebate25/03/26 03:56 PM

You can easily earn 100-300 a month driving for Uber as a man with probably the same amount of time and effort
/r/PurplePillDebate24/03/26 05:12 PM
65

Saying women have the option to do Only Fans is like saying men have the option to play in the NFL. There are idk how many thousands of OnlyFans models and the bottom 95% probably make less than you’d make at McDonald’s. And the bottom 50% probably make essentially nothing.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/03/26 11:56 PM

HEY! We also take the garbage out
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 09:12 PM

Presumably the women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/26 09:11 PM

Idk I saw this one video of a couple banging on top of a pickup truck doing like 80mph. That seemed pretty risky for all involved.

You’ve never had good MDMA.

The first part is easy since I have no resources.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/26 11:03 PM

I mean it’s probably not any “minor” reason. But dating is selections. I’ve had good dates. I had bad dates. They didn’t call me again. Dont take it so personally. One time I brought a girl to dinner, the bar, kissed by the pool table. And then when we went to leave, the parking lot had medians between rows but I didn’t think they did for some reason (I swear I wasn’t drunk). I drove right over the median instead of backing up. No second date
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 06:31 AM
9

You don’t have to do all that. It’s ok to be nervous. But guess what, the girl is too. It should still be a fun conversation
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/26 06:07 AM

The very fact that we are all 99 point whatever the same DNA means that the remaining point whatever is responsible for EVERYTHING that makes you you. It’s the difference between an artist and an engineer, an introvert and a salesman. It’s the difference between Hitler and Mother Teresa. I’d say that’s pretty fucking important.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 09:17 PM

“That doesn’t mean we got family members in zoo exhibits” you have not met my family
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 09:06 PM

I mean, yea, of course you can. Call the local news and say an old teacher molested you. It won’t fly in court because you have no proof but by then they’ll have been fired and lost most of their friends and family.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 04:52 PM

When and how did the government remove that power?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 07:02 AM

Men don’t care nearly as much about income or social status. Guys will take a super hot waitress over a frumpy doctor all day.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/26 01:13 AM
-3

It kinda is since almost all women have mental health issues now. When’s the last time you met someone that wasn’t in therapy?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/03/26 10:36 PM
10

Women care way more about your face than your body in my experience unless you’re either morbidly obese or a fitness model. And for what it’s worth, I hate travel, I’m not funny, and I don’t make money (not for lack of trying).
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 04:00 AM
17

A lot of us never pass the looks test though. I’m fat and ugly right now. If I go to the gym and work my ass off for a few months I could be skinny and ugly so why bother?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/02/26 01:45 AM

These guys never go to Canada or England and clean up because no one over there is looking for a Green Card lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/26 05:41 PM
6

Smh people don’t even dress up for operations anymore
/r/PurplePillDebate20/02/26 09:30 PM

lol what? The next time you’re getting ready for a date and you go get a haircut, shave, clean your car, try on a few outfits etc, just know the woman is doing all the same things, if not more (maybe not the car). Women don’t get relationships with 0 effort either
/r/PurplePillDebate17/02/26 04:07 PM
17

Where it comes from is young men (and women tbh) being told constantly “there’s someone out there for everyone”, “just be yourself”, “you’ll meet someone when the time is right”, etc. Or the worst is “you just need confidence”
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 08:49 PM
1

Perhaps. But even the men who actually DO care aren’t wearing anything “revealing”. If I wanted to look sharp for a night out tomorrow, I’m doing clean sneakers, maybe dress shoes, dark jeans that fit, groomed beard/hair, a long sleeve button down shirt, and maybe a nice watch. And if I want to look REALLY good, I’m wearing a suit if appropriate Men don’t “slut up” (for lack of a better term) their appearance except at gay bars because they’re trying to attract other men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 08:23 PM
4

If it appealed to the female gaze most men would do it
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 02:21 PM
3

Ok but women ALSO don’t want to see men’s exposed skin. Trust me if women were going nuts over guys showing skin in normal settings, you’d see a lot more guys doing it.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/02/26 02:11 PM
3

I think OP’s issue is that many of the women in porn were trafficked, or otherwise doing it against their will, or it was posted without their consent, or they’re underage or any combination of those things. And if you just go online and find a video you have no way of knowing if any of those are the case
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 09:54 PM
14

For the dead bedroom thing it’s not no standards and being with someone who you don’t have compatibility with but that those things change over time, especially talking marriage. I was in love with my ex for a long time. Then shit happens and resentment grows. If you don’t fix that stuff right away you find yourself “forcing” sex with someone… that you just don’t even want to be around really
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/26 03:02 PM

C. She’s not overly worried about becoming pregnant from one encounter. She likes me. And she either doesn’t care if I think she’s promiscuous or doesn’t think I’ll judge her for it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/26 12:03 AM

It really depends on the woman. But yea I agree OP can feel out a situation and if she doesn’t ask not mention it
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/26 02:24 AM
0

Because: it’s a numbers game. Sure if you approach 50 women, 49 may say no. You still got a date, possibly even a relationship that you wouldn’t have had otherwise. helps with confidence. It takes BALLS to approach a stranger with the intent of asking them out, trying to sell them something, or just have a conversation in general.. something a lot of men here sorely lack. improves social skills. I definitely don’t think the goal should be to make a bunch of women uncomfortable, and frankly, in t…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/26 04:02 PM

Not really. You should be able to tell if a girl is interested in you right way. If she’s not and you keep trying to “create chemistry” you’re just wasting your time AND making her uncomfortable
/r/PurplePillDebate27/01/26 05:28 PM

I’m divorced and I was the primary caregiver for the last 5 years. And btw all the dads I know have “stepped up” and are present fathers. This notion of the woman does everything and the man just goes to work and drinks beer and expects dinner on the table might have been true 50 years ago…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/01/26 04:06 PM

“Mathematically the only way this is possible is if a large percentage of single women are dating men in relationships.” Not really. Could be a very small number of promiscuous women having multiple affairs. Mathematically.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 01:27 PM

Ok but the handsome misogynist gets laid IN SPITE of misogyny, not because of it. This sub could be summed up in one sentence. Women care about looks. Just like guys.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/01/26 02:41 AM
13

Divorce doesn’t really wipe away half YOUR assets unless you marry someone who contributes absolutely nothing. If my wife and I put away 20k/year, for ten years, I “lose” 100k on divorce, but if I were single I would be putting away 10k/year so it ends up the same. Unless she’s a stay at home mom but then I’d still be putting away much less bc who the fuck is watching my kids
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 06:44 PM

There’s a non-zero chance your wife will be into gardening and you’ll have to move 2000 pounds worth of planters from house to house because it’s “good dirt”.

I’m afraid I’m just ex-husband material
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/26 06:26 PM

Is there ANY situation where you would kill someone? Like if it was a ruthless drug kingpin who had murdered 100s and will likely continue? Maybe that’s how some men interpreted the rape question. Like when Tyson said he never raped that woman but if he had the chance now he would have. Totally understandable.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/01/26 01:39 AM

I hear you. But I think we might disagree here. Pretty privilege definitely exists but I’ve been in the workforce for a long time and I’ve seen smart, competent women be generally respected no matter what they look like.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/26 01:54 PM
1

I suppose that’s partly true. Although Men want to be fuckable too. Maybe it’s the media? I think the whole body positivity movement should be less Meghan Trainor “I’m sexy even though I’m fat” and more “this is what I look like right now but I’m not going to base my entire self worth on how attractive I am”
/r/PurplePillDebate08/01/26 01:35 PM

I’m not confident in my body at all. Am I comfortable with it? Sure. I think it’s maybe because men are more honest with themselves sometimes? I’m fat. I know I’m fat and so does everyone else. And I know WHY I’m fat. If I wanted to, I could eat right and be fit. Maybe I will one day. But if everyone’s going swimming I can take my shirt off because no one’s going to be surprised like “omg I thought you were skinny”

So a man has no value to society if he’s not conventionally attractive? So what if maybe he’ll cure cancer or play first chair in the Boston Philharmonic. He might struggle on Tinder cause he’s 5’6”

Porn (and maybe the internet) are the only things that are materially different though. Otherwise you’re just parroting the same complaint that every generation had about the one after it.

Mothers have been around a while. If this truly is a generational thing (not sure I agree with OP’s premise), it’d be wise to consider how porn availability has changed so much so quickly, and does that have an effect? If I never had to use my own imagination to jerk off, would I have worked so hard to touch boobs at 15? Or would I have just ignored girls and went home and opened my laptop? Idk…

Being financially stable is in your control? So the next recession comes and you get laid off and no one’s hiring, that’s just your fault then? The entire global economy, that affects 7 billion people all comes down to the actions of autumnkitten831? Some people have money, some don’t. It’s all luck. Always has been.

Oh no hospital bills! lol the man is taking that risk too. Unless he’s one of your stats that walks out on his pregnant girlfriend. But again, then he is NOT a good person. So again, maybe that should be the primary requirement.

I guess. Just seems like a high bar. I suppose if you get rid of funny and financially stable, both of which are largely out of your control, the rest seems pretty reasonable.

“men who are kind, considerate, funny, financially stable, monogamously oriented, sociable, generous, fun to be with, for instance, are a minority of men” You need all that just to be good? That’s the difference. Best I can do is not cheat on you and have a job most years.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/25 01:46 AM

“A woman who makes 150k would feel like she’s dating down” Men generally don’t do this when it’s the other way. And hey, there’s nothing wrong with that for the women. Go out and make your money, more power to you. I can see it becoming a problem however if the trends continue (women make up 60% of college students and growing)
/r/PurplePillDebate27/12/25 01:46 AM

When I was working low wage jobs, I dated women who worked similar jobs. Mostly because that’s generally going to be your social circle. I did find that ambition can be a proxy for success. Women don’t want to date the guy with the retail job who games for 16 hours on his day off. You gotta be the guy who’s in school, or starting a business or doing something. It doesn’t even have to make money really, be the guy that’s up early training for a marathon.

It’s not saying you’re going to be attracted to everyone that is in a relationship. Just that knowing that someone is desired makes them seem a bit better, even if only subconsciously

So it’s not about waiting for a certain period of time. If you’re a true regular, you’ll recognize the other regulars and they’ll recognize you. Occasional conversations will happen naturally. /r/PurplePillDebate17/12/25 03:17 AM
3

“Women arent going to have sex with men they aren’t attracted to” “Men should stop having sex with women they aren’t attracted to” Both are right! Thing is though, and I think this speaks to OP’s meandering point, men, especially young men, are attracted to a significant percentage of young women. When I was in college I could just walk around campus like “she’s cute.. she’s cute..” seriously like MOST age appropriate women. Women are NOT like that at all, in fact if you’re a woman I’m sure what…

True but a lot (maybe most?) of “normal” men do care about sexual history, especially at a certain point. Would you marry a woman who banged 1000 guys? Maybe you would. But I think that’s a dealbreaker for a LOT of guys.

If felons and bullies get more sexual partners (not sure if I agree) it’s probably because they prioritize short term satisfaction and are impulsive. Men and women generally go out with the best looking people they can get. So usually that means hot people do each other, ugly people do each other, and average people are in the middle. I’m speaking in generalities here so obviously there are plenty of exceptions. Personality makes a difference, humor, status, sometimes just luck. But if you’re an uggo chances are your next partner is too!

So we change the age of consent to 25 (we should also update laws regarding marriage, property ownership, contracts, drinking age, military service since all of those should warrant true consent). Then we'll just have "barely legal" porn where they're like "omg she just turned 25, so hot" and everyone on Reddit will be like "That's so exploitative, I mean a 25 year old is BARELY an adult smh. What a bunch of predators!"
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 02:40 PM

Legally yes, but that’s probably not what you’re asking. When can they consent?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 02:11 PM

How is she a predator if they are consenting adults? She is 26 btw. If she was 46 and "exploiting" barely-middle-aged 38 year olds would it be a problem?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/12/25 01:45 PM

If you're suggesting that the exact age is (somewhat) arbitrary, you're right, but as a society we have to draw the line somewhere, and that's where we ended up.

It’s systemic because the SYSTEM doesn’t give fathers as much time off as mothers, and the SYSTEM doesn’t provide realistic childcare options for a lot of people. How about we require companies to give the same amount of paternity leave as maternity leave? And then require fathers to take it? We can take it a step further and have free or reduced childcare options for working parents like a lot of other countries, but even doing the first thing would make a big difference. Mothers would benefit.…

I don’t think I agree with the premise. So a guy becomes friend with a girl and then expresses interest at some point. Do women really think that’s a betrayal? Regardless of whether they’re into him or not i don’t think they do.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/12/25 02:47 PM

Everyone is allowed to complain. But the thing is there ARE good men. So women that aren’t finding them maybe arent good themselves? Like if you had a friend who dropped out of high school, had a criminal record, and was always like “There’s no good jobs out there”
/r/PurplePillDebate07/12/25 04:25 PM

The attitude I see from women on here is that they are fine being single. So it’s more like being financially independent and THEN going for a job they’re not qualified for. Like fine, I’ll take this job if I can get it, otherwise fuck it I’ll just stay home.

I don’t think women are dumber. And for the record you don’t have to be smart to write code, you just have to like it. Discrimination definitely exists on some level, but maybe also they just don’t like it as much? Men don’t go into teaching partially because they don’t like kids I think.

/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/25 02:59 PM

I don’t think discrimination explains all of it. I worked in STEM, and if anything we would have loved to have more women to balance out the ranks. But in reality, you post a job, and get 100 applicants, and 90 are men. So we’re discriminating now?

100 years ago there were cars, cities, and railroads. But no, what the fuck? You don’t date men from everywhere now. You date men from your city or area that are able to take you on an actual date. That’s kinda the definition of “dating”.

When you put your drawers back on after cumming, no matter how long you wait, that last drop gets on the inside of your underwear giving your dick head a sticky high five every time you move for a little while.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 06:21 AM

You missed my point. The conversation was “guys do more around the house and then expect sex”. So I’m trying to understand what’s so terrible about that so I flipped it. If my wife cleaned the house and then she WANTED to have sex, I don’t know what I’d be complaining about.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/25 03:03 AM

No you don’t understand because the entire premise of this argument is that the person doing the cleaning already wants to have sex. That’s what you are claiming is a problem. Man does chores. Man wants sex. You: but what if the chores make him tired? Then no one has to have sex I guess so the problem is solved.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 06:00 PM

Well you’re both having sex and you both have a clean house? Idk where is the downside for anyone?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 03:05 PM

“Most men fake their incompetence”? Uh no. Nowhere near most men, that’s a Reddit take. And ok. Say your man cleans the kitchen and then wants sex. You’re saying that’s bad. But if you think about it, the end result is YOU get a clean Kitchen Annnd YOU get sex. So in my example I put myself in your shoes, and if my wife did some extra house stuff and then wanted sex, I don’t see what I’d be mad about?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 02:47 PM

having a clean house AND having sex
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/25 02:39 PM

Why wouldn’t I want someone as ambitious and successful as me? Because why would I? Also, success doesn’t really say anything about the person’s character as it is mostly due to luck. Ambition on the other hand is a big plus, and maybe makes a woman more interesting or relatable. But you can be ambitious and broke so that still might be considered “dating down”.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/25 02:18 AM

That’s a little different. If you really believe it’s killing babies, it’s more comparable to asking an Englishman to care about whatever genocide is currently taking place in the third world (ie they SHOULD care).

Didn’t he marry his nerdy college girlfriend or something, who clearly knew him before he had money? And as a guy I also wouldn’t want a relationship where someone ONLY wants me for money.

True, but I’d add that early-in-relationship lies are often said with the person not expecting or thinking about being married one day. You’re on a first date, trying to impress, not really thinking and you let a SMALL lie slip, like changing your college major. Now 10 years later you gotta pretend to know about Anthropology or some shit. You weren’t thinking that far ahead. Big lies (“I don’t have kids”, “I’ve never killed anyone”) are different though.

Most people weren’t having different partners every night in college, but in general young people are going to be more open to it. Even if it didn’t happen often it wouldn’t seem weird or out of place if me or one of my roommates woke up after a party with a random in their bed. Now that I’m older and most of my friends, even if they are single, have jobs, careers, live in suburbs, it would seem pretty unusual if someone told me a story like that, that would be completely non-controversial in co…

I don’t think it’s true to say that most women don’t have sympathy for the problems that men face. They do, it’s just… what do you want them to do about it? Just like I have sympathy for the issues that women face. But I’m one person, I’m not gonna change the world, best I can do is not assault anyone and try not to be a dick.

Confidence and competence. I've tried the fake it till you make it type of confidence when I had nothing going for me in my life, and it might make you the life of the party but people won't be attracted to you after getting to know you.

Work is generally a big part of someone’s life. Idk it seems kinda obvious to ask about someone’s job on a date. Doesn’t have to be for “measuring a future” or whatever the fuck OP said, but just being interested in them as a person? Like, why else are you on a date.

Women do like nice guys! What I think a lot of “nice guys” get wrong is: A lot of them aren’t actually nice. And women, like men, are attracted to (surprise) attractive guys. If 2 guys are roughly the same in looks/personality/status, then sure, the nicer guy does actually win.

Getting a match on a dating app is NOT the same as getting someone interested in dating you. For a man, you’ll probably get ghosted before you even meet. But for a woman, most matches will either ghost you or only want sex if you are in the bottom 50% or so.

I don't think Weinstein or Spacey have worked much since their allegations came out, but if they did a lot of people would choose not to see their movies. I don't think it would make people complicit, per se, but even in a world where most of our consumption contributes to some type of exploitation, is it unreasonable to expect moral people to try to avoid the most exploitative companies/industries?

/r/PurplePillDebate13/08/25 12:23 PM

She’s probably right. That’s true for a lot of people individually. Just not on average. Me, I drank and was fat in college, then hit the gym hard age 25-35. Here’s the thing though, even though I was hotter at 35 than 21, it doesn’t hold a candle to the college dude who works out as much as I do.

All the women I knew well enough to share this information with me had way more than 3 partners in their teens and twenties. Not 100s but 10-30. That seems quite normal to me. I am in the US, from a not religious area, and a Millennial though. I don’t think Gen Z has sex.

So let’s say you’re right and it eventually women are making twice what men make on average, $100k to $50k. In this scenario even though a woman might not “need” a man to get by, they’ll be competing with couples making $150k for housing/childcare/etc.

Swiping right for three hours a day and not talking to anyone because you have no matches is not “dating” or “social”.

That’s true but the shift in young men I think is alarming. It’s always been the case that people who are progressive in their 20’s grow more and more conservative over time. (not always but often) To have a huge cohort of people who are 18-30 and already extremely conservative… idk what that says about our future.

I’m the guy that actually fucks while they are thinking of you and I agree!

Idk while the whole “swearing off dating” thing never took off I think a lot more women are flat out refusing to date Republicans or Trump supporters. Dudes are lying on their profiles that they are “moderate” or “apolitical” to get laid. That wouldn’t have happened during the Bush years unless the woman was a diehard who worked on the Kerry campaign or something. Generally people didn’t care who you voted for.

A lot of guys think like that though, especially guys that complain that women aren’t putting out enough. Those are often the same guys who say they don’t want a woman who’s been “ran through”.

I’d want him to live a fulfilling life and not rely on validation from a partner for his self worth, and also be a good role model so he grows up with some of the traits that make him attractive.

Everyone is different, but as a man, you're not looking for instant world-crashing attraction. It's more like a threshold that "Is this woman attractive enough that if we click personality-wise, or she's really kind/funny/etc. I'd want to be with her?" Because the next step is a convo and possibly a 2 hour date, which is low-risk for a dude.

"But when these men will go IRL and won't have success, what are you going to tell them?" Be patient. I know it sucks. It's not fair that some guys will just be born with good faces and do fuck-all and be successful, but that doesn't mean you're doomed if that's not you. Get really good at something, like find something you're passionate about that has nothing to do with dating. This will take years. Maybe lower your standards if their too high.

> Which isn't explicitly a bad thing, it sounds as though you might have used those men in the same sense. True, but the double standard is that most people wouldn't say the men are being used, because they assume the men are getting more out of it and women don't really want casual sex, they are just occasionally tricked into doing it.

He's a comedian and there is always some roasting that goes on during these types of award shows. Will Smith and his family aren't exempt from that. If you can't handle it then stay home. There's a line of course but I don't think the joke was too bad. She doesn't have cancer by the way.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
