I would agree there's nothing wrong with having a preference. It's okay for a woman to want to date a tall man. Just as it's okay for a man to want to date a woman who isn't overweight. The problem is that the societal response to both of those issues is completely different in many cases. Being this toxic is honestly not the behavior anyone should strive for, regardless if they are male or female - in my opinion at least. If you think that this kind of behavior is fine, that's an alright opinio…

I'm just trying to figure out if this sub denies the existence of what that phrase represents What does the phrase represent to you? Many people consider aggression, violence, hostility, and other similar behaviours to be "toxic masculinity." The problem that I have with the phrase is that it associates these traits with males when there's no reason to, and implies that these traits are the fault of men as a collective. To make up a hypothetical example: if a man punches a woman because she won'…

It seems like there has been a lot of these "rile us up without reason" posts on here lately... Don't get me wrong, this is overall a great place for discussion and awareness of gender equality issues, but I think the amount of this kind of post is getting out of hand.

The worst part about this is that it will lead to women getting the job to have less experience than men (they wouldn't have been hired if they had been men), which will just feed people's stereotypes that women are dumber. Long term, this solution helps nobody.

Even if the women weren't strong enough to join the chain, they should have at least tried to find another man for the chain. There were many ways they could have taken action that they were perfectly capable of doing.

It's not that men are wonderful because of their gender, it's that people (including men) are wonderful regardless of their gender, and it's alright to be proud of your gender.

The law does not specify that the person doing the penetrating must also be the victim. It is possible for the woman to force the man to penetrate, causing the man to be both the penetrator and the victim. Unfortunately, this distinction is lost on most people in our society, leading to bias.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
