Could have stopped at “men” for the title. Beyond that, you doing ok there?

Aggressively anti-men, anti-conservative, anti-personal responsibility, anti-accountability, anti-truth, anti-common sense........ The list goes on and on.

Thank you for sharing that, I had no clue about the origins of the name! Also great to hear they're still doing well. Have a good one!

Yes, it is Karen Straughan. She also has a YouTube channel and podcast called Honey Badgers or something like that. Or at least she did, not sure if it's still around.

Much the headlines that kept screaming "1 in 4 homeless are women!"

Makes me wonder if there's something like R/accidentalpuns. Edit: apparently there is. r/accidentalPuns TIL

There were claims it is a troll/satire account over on R/trashy.

From what little of it I could stand to watch and the horrendous mess of a comments section. I strongly believe it was mainly done as a huge setup to further attack the MRA movement. From the selection of debaters to the editing of what was said and what was talked about.

Yeah, it's gotten bad.

It's the majority of the state, not just SF.

You'll regret it.

I really wish this wasn't as accurate as it is... And most of those you'll see here aren't the good ones.

Exactly why if I ever glance at any posts from that sub, I go straight to the bottom of the comments to read. Starting to be a habit for quite a few different subs actually...

Depending on where it is I'd say they'd likely team up to do it. Feminists being the loudmouth screamers and Antifa trying to be the "muscle". Or something like that at least....

Congrats on having them for this long.

I thought it's a good thing to see people be held to equal standards of accountability.... maybe I need to go back to therapy myself.

Sounds vaguely familiar to some parts of the US. Cops demonized for doing their jobs so why waste the effort? Criminals given so much support and protection you'd have thought they were some heroic savior.

From the news in some places, I've been convinced humanity has been falling apart for years, we're only just seeing the more blatant cases of it now.

Who has he attacked? And what "hate speech" are you referring to specifically?

I almost recognize this intersection.... Please tell me this wasn't in San Francisco. edit to add: just checked, it's San Francisco... I knew I recognized that corner. damn it...

Was thinking the same thing. Working with horses and meeting a few horse girls in passing, only once or twice have I ever met one with THAT attitude.

And there's even more from history we're only just now learning the truth about! Folks like Julia Child as an off the top example comes to mind.

When considering this and other issues going on in general? It's been bleak for at least a decade or 2. The future is just looking that much worse now.

Don't tell that to the anti-gun groups! You'd never hear the end of it...

Sadly I'm in that same boat though potentially a variety of different reasons beyond just this mess.

Well that's just San Francisco, I'm not sure about the rest of the state. But I do know that the more folks move out the higher the cost of things like rent and taxes are likely to go. Can't say with 100% certainty beyond that though, I'm no expert on it.
/r/PussyPass09/09/19 11:53 PM
2

Definitely does... Even with budgeting it's a slower process out this way. In the SF Bay Area, apartment rent has been averaged at about $3000-$3500 a month, and a recent report said you need to make an average of $80-something an hour wage to really make do. edit to add: tried to do a quick search for any article that talked about the last bit and was unable to find any at the moment. I did find this article that at least lays out some of the general costs of living and expenses. https://www.in…

There is that factor too, but to my knowledge it isn't as great an issue as cost of moving or medical restrictions.
/r/PussyPass09/09/19 03:26 AM

Not everyone of us can just up and leave. A big example is medical conditions restricting ability to travel.

Big reason plenty of us are planning in some form or another to get the hell out of here. It's long past just a "shithole" anymore! Passed that mile marker about 5-10 years ago now.

Only thing I can say is, these types of people prove how mentally/physically weak and immature they truly are. Explains how they have gotten so good at playing such childish games.

Unrelated to the OP, but that's an awesome job! I'm trying to work at getting at least more fit after depression weight gain. I just need to work out actual time scheduling that would let me do it.

I would only add that that still exists even here in the US, sure as hell exists around the Chinese communities. Grew up around it and never understood the idiocy of it. (The old people pass bit I mean.)

isn't there a law of some type where "sometimes the simplest answer is the right one" or something? that kind of what you're talking about?

Almost always best to at least hear them out first, most times when they start the scapegoating, they're just tying their own noose with all the rope ya gave them by listening. But that backlash is DEFINITELY a force to be reckoned with... It's why a lot of folks stay quiet despite their beliefs and views in places like California. Way too many SJW/Feminist types that carry big entourages.

Same story with Kamala Harris, dated Willie Brown, got made city and county DA of San Francisco, on to state attorney general, now state senator.

There was actually a case of a sperm donor being held liable for child support payments and back payments to a lesbian couple that wanted a child. Even with a full contractual agreement written and signed by all absolving the guy of responsibility, the courts claimed it was invalid because it wasn't done by a certain person or in a certain location or a done a certain way. I forget those detail bits, but I remember reading the article of it. edit: found the article http://abcnews.go.com/Health/k…

Even that example wouldn't be considered the "proper way" anymore.

The only one I've seen do that is my mother and that was during some volunteer renovation work for our church. They needed a wall taken down, my mother and her friend (another lady I know well) showed up in work clothes, half face respirators, and were ready to get to it. They both worked for the local health department.

Thanks for reminding me of that train wreck of idiocy... And I thought she actually got smart and just disappeared! edit: I still love the part of that vid where even the audience calls out her bull

First time I've heard of it, but then again California LOVES to hide those types of things... It really isn't home anymore.

I vaguely remember those types of lessons... like I was given one ages and ages ago... always wondered what happened with that, and now I know!

that came afterwards I think... ages since Sunday school for me too tbh.

I'd be able to pay more than a few house bills with that kinda cash.
