Maybe that was true in the beginning. But ask yourself, why would an ex-redpill page on reddit exist, if it wasn't an issue? The redpill has been corrupted and is now toxic.

I hear what you're saying. I don't know if the redpill can be saved at this point but at least you're not defending the toxicity of the current redpill. I think if we had to choose a pill color, then the purplepill is actually not terrible. The purplepill has not been perverted nearly to the same degree as the redpill has and it has a better message. It has more to do with increasing your money + status etc. for building a relationship with someone + having a family.

Wrong. Maybe that's what redpill was at the very beginning, but it has evolved into misogynistic propaganda. you don't need the redpill to work on your looks, money, status, etc. the redpill was basically evolutionary psychology applied to dating which, you can just look to content related to evo psych instead of Rollo Tomassi. Channels like Chris Williamson or Psych Hacks are much better alternatives to the redpill stuff for learning male and female nature in terms of dating. If bettering yours…

Like a total arrogant douche-bag and an asshole. I also treated her like she was less-than because she was "passed her prime" which I now feel terrible about. She was a very sweet, intelligent, and overall just an incredible woman and didn't deserve any of it.

Yes! I have done that and made it clear to her that I wasn't expecting anything out of it. It definitely made me feel better whether she chooses to read it or just delete the message. Either way, I did my part.

Thanks! It's good to be back to normal again. And yea that's so true, the redpill is definitely a cult!

Thank you! I think feeling insecure as a man was the biggest factor as is with most of the guys that get drawn to it. Also a feeling of low self-worth and a need to 'prove yourself as a man' played a huge part in it for me too. Also wanting to have many sexual relationships with women for validation. There's probably more I'm missing since its a pretty complex issue but those are the first that come to mind.

That sounds really good. I will definitely check that out, thanks for the recommendation!

They definitely tried but I was too stubborn. Unfortunately losing her was the only way I was able to snap out of it which makes me feel even worse to think about. I pretty much had to lose a really good thing in order to realize just how much damage I had done while under the influence of the redpill.

Thanks! And yes absolutely this is a very important question for every ex-redpiller to ask themselves if they catch themselves slipping. I know that if I asked myself that, the answer would be a big fat NO lol. It only brought me anger, depression, anxiety, insecurity, stress, etc. NOTHING good.

😭 that really means a lot!! And you hit the nail right on the head! Although the loss was extremely costly and painful, I would rather wake up than to sink myself further down that redpill hell-hole. It just sucks that, THAT'S what it took for me to realize what I was doing was wrong. I'm really trying to forgive myself for that... But seriously, THANK YOU

Thank you 😊 and YES! Exactly! The manosphere has no accountability and its just sad that people are still consumed by it without realizing the harms being done to them and their relationships. Despite other issues, the redpill was what ultimately destroyed my relationship with her, and that was entirely my fault! No one forced me to take the redpill. And then boom. Nine years of the truest love I've ever experienced down the drain. It pains me to admit my mistake but it is also liberating.

Thank you! It's definitely been healing. And I can definitely appreciate that no one will be putting her through that again. She didn't deserve any of it.

Absolutely. Lots of deprogramming and healing to be done. It was a necessary but very very hard lesson 😢 I guess that's what I get for letting it get to my head.

100%! I'll need some time to recover emotionally from the loss and damages it caused but my next relationship will not involve that toxic garbage. I'm embarrassed to even admit that I had any part in that.

None of them are truly happy even if they're making money off of sad angry men. Think about it. If your job was to sh*t on ANY group of people let alone women, how good do you think that would be for your own mental health? I also pity the content creators not just the viewers.
/r/ExRedPill05/04/23 02:57 AM

Dude staying in that sh*t is not worth your sanity.

You've definitely got it figured out my man, I'm on the same level of thinking. Any content that is simply entertaining or educational feels so liberating now. I can now actually enjoy content, and not have it lead to anger, depression, and hatred. Leaving the redpill is just like breaking from an addiction.

I'm done with all pills lol. Let's just live life to the fullest and laugh, love, be happy, and be at peace.

I'm right there with you man, I just started unsubbing from that sh*t TODAY. We're all in this together!

It's not about weakness it's about being smart. For example, would you consider your man (or anyone) to be weak for wearing a seatbelt while they drove? Probably not. It means they value their life and won't put it at risk if they don't have to. I don't care how much of a good driver you are, even if I trust your driving skills, if I'm sitting in the passenger seat, I am still putting on a seatbelt. Marriage for a man (who has money) is basically saying "Hey babe, I'll bet you half of my stuff t…

Do you need to be married in order to establish trust?

How is marriage important for having children? I don't want the governmnent involved with my relationship. If the marriage was a ceremonial event that didn't involve a legal contract, I would be open to that. I would be ok with wearing a ring and calling her my wife but I don't want the governmnet involved.

Dating is brutal for both sides and that’s just nature. Both genders need to accept this because I see denial on both sides. Men are allowed to like young, hour-glass, beautiful women. But women are also allowed to like fit, tall, and successful men. These high standards only incentives self improvement in ways that are in our control. How is this a bad thing?

Nicely done, most men don't have the balls to even try. It's better to try and fail, then to not try at all! That's how you grow.

That's why it's better to meet girls in real life.

He said he would do everything in his power to pick up a girl with his game and close the deal. Escorts were the absolutely last resort if it got too late, he got too tired, and the scene/party died down or became a sausage fest or there was no other places to go. But the more he did this, the less that would happen because by doing it he got better at pick-up and game because of practice and being comfortable with rejection. He got so good at this that he now almost never gets escorts anymore.
/r/seduction16/10/19 06:52 PM

Actually the money used to pay the escort takes effort because you need to work in order to get the money lol. In all seriousness, I knew someone who went to bars/clubs/parties and would pick girls up many times. But on the nights he wasn't successful, he would see an escort at the end of the night so he was getting laid no matter what happened which helped his game he claims. Said he didn't seem, feel, or act desperate because of it when talking to them.
