Untrue, actually I enjoy it. Not penetration but stimulation. And I’m not one to go along with sexual things I don’t actually want/enjoy.

I don’t see why its their business even if the woman isn’t waiting for marriage. Virgin or not, I expect a man to be respectful of my pace, timeline and boundaries around sex. I also do not expect to know his sexual history nor ask about mine. Appropriate topics would be sti tests, birth control methods, and consent. Otherwise I don’t see any reason why a man should need to know if I’ve slept with 0 people or 30 people before him. As long as we are both clean/healthy, consenting, and have an und…

I would caution you not to tell them at all. I would say only that you would like to take things slow. And then, throughout the various stages of intimacy, do not be afraid to immediately shut down any advances or acts that you don’t feel comfortable with. Thats not going to signal anything to them - I am very experienced sexually, but I have no qualms about slowing someone down or outright saying “no, not like that” or “no, not yet” to things I don’t like/want or even just things I don’t prefer…

Yeah fair enough. I just think it could also be rude for a guy to assume or imply that we would do my hobby together just because he decided to try it. I definitely would be happy to coach a boyfriend on his first time snowboarding, but thats not something I would sign up for with a guy I’m barely dating.

I’m not really sure I understand this. I snowboard and it’s definitely a defining hobby of mine. If after a few dates a guy said he was going to try snowboarding, I’d probably be happy that we could potentially have that in common if he likes it/sticks with it… I would probably voice that but I wouldn’t be trying to go with him for his first time… I’d be glad for him to try it out so we could go together later on if things progress.

“Trapped”? Or they claimed they were child-free but then didn’t take any responsibility for birth control by getting a snip or wrapping it.. If they want to be child free theres no reason they shouldn’t have just gotten a vasectomy

He’s 49, with a 34 year old. How much you wanna bet it has nothing to do with her fitness and everything to do with his pedophillic preferences for much younger women.

Yes!! Who are their “heros”? (Are they actual heroes who did good things for humanity? Or are they athletes or billionaires who hoard their wealth and cheat/beat their wives? Are they all men, or do they also have women they look up to such as a relative, political figure or business woman?) What are their favourite movies? (What are the underlying themes of the movie and what do they like about it? IE fight club - do they like that the main character was a sick and violent individual who wanted…

Yeah!! And in polls and shit online guys are ALWAYS saying that girls should ask them out… but they literally don’t respect women who ask and they never match the effort. Honestly I find if I make the mistake of accidentally showing interest in a guy they back off. They don’t want us if they don’t have to work for it a little.

I know this is an old post now but hoping to find some help - what would be the queen energy way to address the first point? I don’t need or want constant text conversation, but I’m waiting 12 hours for a response and no definite next date plans. I don’t want to block and delete just yet, in case he truly is busy, but I’m a little annoyed at the lack of consistency.

In my experience, though this is frustrating- often I’ve agreed to a drinks date, and then when I arrive and the first drink goes well he will pull out the menu. I think in a way they are vetting too, and only committing to a drink but if they like you they often will stay for dinner. This has happened to me a lot. At first I was annoyed, because if it was just drinks I’d eat beforehand. But if I knew we’d be eating I wouldn’t show up fed. I’ve started having a snack before a drink date and taki…

I think we should push for more handbook posts that help us recognize HV traits! This is still a struggle for me but I think focussing on the negative too much may mean I miss some gems.

Oh my gosh thank you so much!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/10/21 02:20 AM

Yes exactly. This is something I think FDS could improve upon - once you master vetting for LV traits, we need to also learn strategies to focus on, find, recognize, and attract HV traits in men.

I do live in a big city that seems to have a larger number of financially secure men than my previous city. So I am lucky that way. Also I’ve still had to date a lot of frogs to get to this point but if you are ruthless you get better and better at it and not wasting your own time.

I really don’t know how to answer the first question because you should be answering that based on your own experiences. In my case I used lessons learned through work relationships. So like learning to pick my battles and when to keep the peace. Second, there are lots of posts about this in the handbook but often in an early dating situation there is the question of when/how long was the last relationship, how did it end. So you can be pretty explicit then and say “oh it was good, he treated me…

One I met online dating. I know its not FDS recommended. He was vetted and still is being vetted. The other is a good friend of my brothers’. He has my brothers endorsement, and good reason to treat me well since I am pretty close with my bro. This was just good luck probably. I think my last paragraph says it all - with time, practice, and ruthless vetting and cutting out of LVM, you start to recognize more high-value come out of the woodwork. I think a major mindset shift I had was that when I…

Yeah, these were definitely just lessons about myself/personality but I did not share anything vulnerable with him or anything that could be manipulated/used against me. High level and never admit if you were mistreated in the past. Keep it mysterious but subtly Imply that you are very accustomed to being treated well (and wouldn’t accept less).

I love it when people (men, my friends, my mom) threaten me with “you might never find anyone like that” “if youre too picky you’ll end up alone” when I express baseline standards. I immediately smile and say that’s ok! I am not afraid of being single. I’d rather find someone who adds value to my life, or stay single and keep my own life value high. Lol honestly if anything, these types of headlines only serve to reinforce me that I am single/having trouble finding a good partner because I am intelligent, and the pool of men who can reach my level or not feel intimidated, is smaller. I feel no need to dumb myself down for that. If anything I think once I do find a partner he will be so much better than the LV some women settle for.

Right!! I’ve been on plenty of dates and I have never been pressed or asked about the bill. I offer at the point in time that I see fit and its never been an issue. With time you will realize that its not your fault you were deceived by him, you were approaching a relationship honestly and he wasn’t. He was purposefully manipulating you. That is NOT your fault, and you don’t need to examine why YOU fell for it. You approached love the way society taught you to. In future however, you will take a new approach and you wont let your guard down or let a man gaslight you again. When I started rejecting men after the first date like right out the gate, way more often instead of giving him “the benefit of the doubt” when I sensed a red flag or “giving him a chance” when I wasn’t that attracted. And adamantly defending myself when friends or family imply I’m being too picky and might end up alone (I said thats okay, i’m not ashamed of being alone).

Agree and upvote!!! We are all too aware of the many many men who are trash or worse than trash. I want to see uplifting content that levels me up, levels up women, and helps us see and find high value men. At a family get together recently, I started cleaning up dinner/dishes. What is the best high value, Queen energy way to shut down or slow down his advances in the way of kissing, or sexual-leaning advances? How do you turn down these advances and imply youre classy & taking it slow, without actually letting him know your timeline or making it a big thing. Yes! I love FDS but the negativity is bringing me down. I want to learn to recognize misogyny and LV/NV traits, but that comes pretty easily because once you know what to look for you see it everywhere. What I really could use is how to find, vet, and recognize GOOD traits and HVM! I’m an expert at finding the red flags (theyre everywhere!) but when I meet a man that I don’t see any red flags in… I’m at a loss as to what to do! I think I just met a HVM, I didn’t think it was possible because I’ve had nothing but examples that 99% of men are trash lately, and I’m suddenly in a bad place because I can feel myself crushing and I’m terrified he’ll reject me and I’ll feel badly about myself!! Talk me off the ledge queens!! (I know I wont betray myself of my FDS but I am definitely feeling a crush which is against the rules so I’m mostly scared of the fallout if it ends )

Pretend to be a feminist and spout the script about the wage gap and how unfair the expected division of domestic labour is. Then take me to your apartment, which you have clearly not cleaned properly in years, since the baseboards are caked with scum and hair, and dog food is scattered all over the kitchen floor and everything smells like dog. I feel the same way!! 30’s and dating, and the world is a terrifying place, seemingly moreso than I thought it was before (I’ve also been sexually assaulted more than once). This is so tough!!! Because I’ve had a bf just like this. He was responding to my complaints, and I definitely beleived he was in love but in hindsight it was lovebombing, and after 1 year he stopped obliging my requests which at that point were to be treated with basic respect so I dropped him (this was before I found FDS). I think something I look for now or have an eye out for is their instincts. If a man does things only when told and doesn’t inherently know it, its a potential problem. Ther…

So true. My LVM ex was short, (taller than me but only by a couple inches), his feet were the same size as mine, (yep, make your assumptions, his dick was small). Similarly, do not confuse your personal satisfaction with your situation with a blanket statement that women dont need/want/deserve/achieve orgasms less than men do. And what you mean is women often dont orgasm from penetrative sex alone. And thats correct. That has nothing to do with the fact that women are at the shitty end of an orgasm gap. We’ve defined sex by the type that gives men orgasms. That doesn’t mean women cant get off, its just different than men and that doesn’t make it less impo…

Maybe the whole problem though is that society treats male sexuality as the baseline of human sexuality and then compares women against that. Youre right, women are aroused differently not necessarily less. But this world isn’t built to arouse us like it is for men. Men don’t even try to arouse us. They just expect us to be aroused instantaneously by their presence? And porn is a horrible basis for a study. Most porn is incredibly male-centric and often has violent and degrading undertones, that…

I cant help but immediately think that he wasn’t actually going to propose, it was just a last-ditch effort to get her back “but I was JUST about to propose!” That he actually convinced even himself that he was going to.

THIS. Nothing looks worse than keeping hair on the back and sides when the top is gone or noticeably thin/patchy. Ugh. Drives me nuts.

No, look into scalp micropigmentation and shave your head. Hair transplants rarely turn out beleivable, they end up sparse, leave an obvious scar, and even if it takes the hair from the donor area are too thick (hair shaft) to be beleived at the hairline where hair is naturally thinner.

He asked for women’s opinions, and I agree with your first paragraph. However I’m not sure exactly what you mean by “norwooding”.. Sure you can get away with a norwood 1-2, mayyyybe a 3 if your remaining hair is thick and textured enough. But a 3 vertex or a 4+, keeping your remaining hair will absolutelyake you look old and unattractive. So many dudes hang on way too long. Its time to shave it at that point, a shaved head is far more attractive than an obvious norwood pattern. It just looks lik…

Very sorry to say, but many women, particularly young women, definitely find baldness unattractive. That said, thats not to say it makes you a leper either. Lots of women would date/sleep with a bald guy and find them attractive. It helps if you have other attractive qualities of course, such as tall, good facial hair or good looking face etc. You werent asking advice per se, but I’d like to offer some anyway. I think often the most unattractive aspect about balding men is when they are in denia…

Agreed, I think many do want to experience it and gain some sexual experience and liberate themselves so they don’t end up in a weird sexual relationship with one man for most of their life having not experienced their own sexuality outside the preferences of one partner. Then they stop liking casual sex so much after some experience, not because its not fun sometimes, but because after some time they realize that they are providing far more orgasms than they receive. That sometimes doesn’t chan…

Because men often devalue and judge women for having had any real sexual experience before their LTR..?

Young women do want casual sex. They have sex drives, they want orgasms, they want to feel desired. Sex is healthy & raises endorphins. Of course they want it just like young men do. I disagree that they don’t want to admit it to themselves. Have you seen the way men and society regard “promiscuous” women? Women want sex too, we admit it often, (in forums such as this) and amongst ourselves. We just can’t admit it to certain men and be open about it in society at large. Many women choose not to …

They expect women to nurture and meet every need of theirs and their children. Go ahead with the artificial womb idea, I say. See what parenthood is all about

Its super clear that they don’t need the money, and that any job she could get would not make a significant financial impact. Literally he’s just mad that his salary has been reduced and instead of accepting it, or blaming himself, he wants to suddenly make it her problem / fault and even calls it abuse!!!

You don’t need to get the truth out of them, they will not admit it. If they say it was a joke, simply tell them either “no, it wasn’t” or “putting me down/comparing me/number-scaling me is not a remotely appropriate joke to make about your partner, ever.” It is not a discussion, they don’t get to argue this. Walk away, leave the house, let them stew in it. Honestly, if men want to act like dogs, we can treat them like dogs. And to train a dog, you reward good behaviour, ignore bad behaviour. Th…

Oh yes, I always hated Jim's proposal too, and *especially* him buying his parents house without consulting her!! WTF! Then again, it is a sitcom, and I would argue that none of the characters are superbly healthy or realistic as to how normal people would act/react to anything that happens in the show. I mean, Michael Scott?? He is basically a cartoon. But, I hear ya, thanks for the thorough breakdown! I am new here so my eyes are still just starting to open to some of the more nuanced details!

The stories with a nameless/genderless friend, are referring to a past romantic situation, almost definitely. But, what's a red flag about that? They have had a past relationship, and they might want to tell you about their Vegas trip without making a spectacle of the fact that this story took place with their ex. I'm just saying - I do this if I want to tell a story about like, anything that happened within the last year and a half of my life because my ex and I were together, but I dont see th…

Number of men who stealthed me with the condom: 1 (I wasn’t on bc at the time so had to take a plan b, later found out he also gave me a curable std, and when I told him so, he laughed, as he was apparently aware he had…
