I wholeheartedly agree with you that it is ridiculous but it’s still a rule and she was an idiot for breaking it. Just wait till after the Olympics are over and then you can smoke enough weed to kill Snoop Dogg.
People need to realize when you leave your country that you need to obey the laws of whatever country you are in. I know a girl who got in trouble in Mexico and she tried to explain to the Mexican authorities that they couldn’t treat her like they were because she was a United States citizen. They then explained to this dummy that she wasn’t in America.
Because they’ve been told that it’s unacceptable for a man to hit them, so they think the rules don’t apply and that they can do what the want without repercussions.
