Life's a bitch for sure. If people were equally easy to understand as a computer (CS major and software engineer here :D) noone would use TRP "wisdom" :D

I appreciate your stand on this. But the more i read about it from you, the more I think that those people are dumb in the purest meaning of the word - they have to be told in this black and white manner to be able to understand a VERY BASIC concept of human interaction. Nevertheless, thank you for your explanation, you now are the one exception i met from TRP.

This is a really great thing. But why TRP embeds this in a canon of women hating, instead of phrasing it like you did, is something i will not understand and cannot tolerate.

This is different from generalizing in such a strange way. What you say is more or less "don't let yourself get abused"?

You are twisting the numers on purpose here. First you say PIV = regular sex. Which is not true. If regular sex comes down to PIV only for you, I understand your bitterness. It seems to me you don't have any sexual experience at all. Second, it is not twice as much. The numbers are simply not comparable. It is not the same women reporting for 25% PIV sex that were raped and the sensations made them orgasm. I get the feeling you are a troll.

I try to actively do that. I wanted to help dudes on TRP because for some, there is much more they can do instead of reading TRP which can be seen in their posts. But guess what happens with posts on TRP that are very challenging. I think that the underlying ideology (not the theories on top) of TRP is wrong and establishes the tendency to adopt yourself alone to be good with women - not for your own sake. And there will never be an effective alternative for the stuff TRP seems to offer, because…

That's not what I said, but I would rather not see this become a notable trend outside of the internet although it probably won't be that.

Although I can't see the big value of TBP too, I read TRP because I am seriously afraid of poor guys being drawn into that kind of thinking and having their lifes get fucked really bad and I am serious on that.

Sure bad things happen to good people, but that's not what I said. Those people have to fix their problems for their own sake not for getting fucked once in a while. Those things don't "happen" to them, they just experience the same things everyone else does and are unable to adopt. Apply logical fallacies and classical logic to simply all of TRP and note it down. The bad taste in your mouth will get worse.

And it is normal for people that are not mentally sound to get rejected. This comes usually first, you don't get rejected ALL THE TIME if you are a nice lovable person. It doesn't happen, and I still have to meet a red piller that proves me wrong.

Yeah, but 'don't trust people at first sight' would be a completely sufficient heuristic for that, covering ALL of the aspects TRP tries to cover. You leave the real world when you tailor this simple self improvement every person (that's not a complete retard) has to do some time in life into the fact that you don't get laid. For most people this process is called "growing up". Your problems with ladies are not problems with ladies, you have problems with people. From your previuos comment the p…

I just think you either have a really unlucky streak of meeting bad people our you just apply confirmation bias yourself on your experiences - which is probably true, because you identify you as a sexist.

Probably. Because mental problems is what makes them fail in the first place. The same goes for people consulting TRP. If you fail with ladies AND you are unable to get your life back on track by yourself AND you are easily impressable, TRP is the place to be. Many of TRP followers should instead go to a therapist and start being honest to themselves.

That's not the point. The point is that no list of power or strategy will make up for the character flaws everyone of us has to carry around. If someone is really invested in self improvement and doesn't limit this to girls, getting laid or hating women, you get the same results, without pseudo scientific crap that is posted every day on TRP.

That's what I think too. If TRP followers and/or appliers would focus on just being a better version of themselves day after day and evolve into likable persons, their bitterness would go away and problems with the ladies would also vanish. Missing self relfection is the key to most of what I read from TRP (even in this subreddit).

The internet is like an endless loop for reinforcing one sided ideas. I would want to discuss TRP with someone over chat or in real life because of that, but the only guy I know (from Germany) that has TRP mentality has ovious character traits that forbid any normal social engagement with him - only the internet remains. What i wanted to say with the "devoted to the cause" thing is that they are disconnected to the cause blindly, not serving it anymore.

This may be a mentatlity different between us two, but I don't see radicals being devoted to the cause but being blinded into their radical position (this holds true especially for jihadists in middle east). A thing that bugs me is that the feminist movement as a whole is always narrowed down to the very very vocal minority that just produces mental bullshit. Could this difference maybe stem from me being only a guest in the US from time to time? I don't know, but my reality seems very different…

"The majority is irrelevant because they are moderates." This identifies you as a person that only wants to deal with radicals.

The more i discuss with people from TRP, the more it disconnects from the real world for me. The argument you just provided just enforces my opinion that this term is in fact only viable in a social vaccum.

I think you are speaking of a very loud and nasty loud minority. What those people achieve is bad but they only make up for a very small part of people being active about feminist questions.

And it is probably true when you do it that often.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/11/15 08:41 PM

Most of all it is normal social behavior. Some people just fail at it often and some when trying to be good with ladies. Why give it a fancy name? It happens all the time all gender.

Now there is decent women hunting down role models and slutty women with bad character traids that like fat nerdy dudes and vice verca in the same ratio from my experience. Overengineering finding osmeone to have sex with is part of the problem, not the solution here. If you have problems finding girls you think are 10/10 that don't reject you right away, from my experience, figure yourself out before trying to figure women out. I see a lot of guys there telling stories about "betas" that are re…

Yeah, but judging all women as some huge blackbox of strange character traits you have to decode to get to a decent amount of sex is very very strange to me. Being epmathetic enough to make sense out of people enough to have an idea if they are decent or not will help way way more than reading pseudo scientific "field studies".

I'm certainly not nearly as attractive as Enrique Iglesias, but things I read there, going from false rape accusations over to being cheated on again and again don't feel like needing a strategy - espacially not for getting laid. Forming a healthy amount of empathy to have a feeling for people's character traids would basically give most of the dudes there a lot of success. Or how does it account to people not aligning with any of the theories on TRP but having all the stuff people there want? P…

It is not the fact that you want to get laid, it is the fact that there is any sophisticated strategy behind it. Attraction a matter of behaving decent and being a decent person and, of course, a lot of randomness because chemistry and genetic attractivity play into it. Thinking there is more to it than that is a little bit silly imho, and I know a lot of people that are NOT hot, NOT in shape and NOT rich, but get laid often. Edit: maybe it is a general problem with behavior among other people, …

"Women shit on losers" is for a certain extent not true. It just depends on how "serious" you are in trouble mentally or keeping your shit together. Most of the people there are simply by nature not able to treat women as normal persons (which gets you laid eventually and pretty fast) and are - for me - for the most part misogynists. Putting the act of approaching a person of the different sex in several theoretical boxes shows me that they are not capable of just talking to women because they d…
