New York has some fucked up gun laws, and if it was only 5 months I believe he actually was processed pretty quickly. New Jersey has similar hoops as well, I believe.

His out for the whole thing (including a decent shot at getting his daughter for himself) is to make/file a report with the DA or police that he was 14 at the time of the girls conception. He has proof, in the daughter, of the timeframe, and her age gives all relevent info regarding his and the mothers age. It says that unless the person seeking child support has been convicted of sexual assault, they are entitled to the child support. From the article “The Department of Economic Security doesn’…

It is really too bad college is so expensive. I look very little like my ancestry, so I would love the chance to claim Hispanic in this class just to troll the absolute shit out of them.

that breathing he's doing when he's laying there naked? that is very very bad. if you dont have that person intubated in a right hurry, they're dead. its agonal, and it is not condusive to survival. if the timeline on the video is solid, then whatever they injected him with is what caused his death. he was struggling but still able to maintain an airway while he was conscious, but once he's out from the drugs, he dies.

I agree that the dudes who bailed shouldn't be given awards for bravery, as they do not appear to have done anything that would merit it. I also say that saving your own ass is a really, REALLY high priority when it comes to a situation like that, so I do not blame them for hauling ass either. The problem with the whole thing is the dude calling them out for not doing something to try and help the remaining hostages. I cannot hold someone at fault for getting out, telling the police 'There is th…

Actually they have every right to do so. Mostly because you nor none of the rest of us can stop him. That aside the only reason to treat each attempt seriously is for legal reasons. I may not give two rat fucks if this person lives or dies but I am a doctor or cop or judge and if I don't treat it seriously I am liable. Compassion only goes so far when this is the ninth time you personally have dealt with this person who "overdoses" on tylenol every time mom and dad don't give her her way. Or did…

It protects, but only to an extent. I'm an EMT-B in Indiana. If I'm off the clock (no Duty to Act) and see some kind of incident and begin medical treatment, I have to provide proper care for my level of training. It only protects you as long as you aren't negligent in your care. Which is why it really doesn't matter if you start yelling for a doctor or someone shows up saying 'I'm a nurse'. That doctor might be a podiatrist, and that nurse might work in a dentists office for children. They are …

Men are more likely to succeed in attempting to kill themselves than women. Women attempt to kill themselves a LOT more often though. The methods used in the attempts are the big differences. Men tend to use more 'guaranteed' methods, with less regard to messiness or pain, while women aim for more of the painless, clean ways. Generalizations, ofc, but its pretty easy to figure out when you start looking at the data.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
