But does it help the cause to use terms like "rape culture" to describe the reality we live in? I really don't think so; not in North America or Europe. That's all I'm trying to say. To play devil's advocate though, you might be in one of the worst places in terms of low level sexual abuse, and it probably doesn't reflect what's happening in society at large.
