I always look for whether or not they always have to get a drink when we go out. Does every social activity involving him drinking, when he's at home does he drink things like that. Be very wary if he drinks alone a lot. I found a copy of the AA Big Book at the house of someone I was seeing (it was sitting out in his living room) and he tried to say "he found it at the thrift store." Paired with me realizing almost very single time I saw him he had a drink I was glad to see things end. Lord, the…

Agreed. Bisexuals don't cheat because of their sexuality it's because they're flaky ass cheaters. If you have same sex attraction it's not like your options open up all that much, the overwhelming majority of people are straight anyways.

Yes. Absolutely. Agreed. All the men I've slept with who I knew for a fact watched porn sucked in bed. Couldn't do oral worth a shit and while luckily I never got jackhammered there was zero passion. It's like they were cold, dead fish just flopping around my vagina. Never again. Don't reward mediocre porn sick scrotes with access to your body.

Anna isn't for everyone, but I especially appreciate her advice on having expectations/boundaries in your relationships and carrying yourself with more grace and elegance.

I've been debating throwing in the towel as well. I haven't dated men much the past couple years and I feel like my quality of life has definitely improved. I'm bi though so I feel like I have a bit of an escape hatch built in but there's not many bi/lesbian women where I live. :(

You sound like a really fun, interesting person. Don't listen to your sister, tomboys are awesome. If you change yourself to snag a "HVM" you'll only end up with someone who doesn't align with your true self.

I have many but one worth discussing is if he can't talk about the good things about himself without putting other people down.

THANK YOU. I'm so over the "feminine/masculine energy" and "men/women are better at XYZ thing" ideas that keep popping up on this sub.

I'm so sorry you didn't get the love and support you deserved. I hope things are brighter for you now.

I started out 2020 by blocking any guy from 2019 who gave me grief. It felt amazing! It made me get over my fear that blocking someone is "mean." It's not mean, it's boundaries. If you jerk me around, you don't deserve any access to me. Period. Another good moment is when I dumped my emotionally abusive ex. He started crying (the first time he ever cried during our relationship btw) and I just walked out. It felt like floating on air afterwards. I'm re-charting my career path to ensure I get pai…

When I lost a parent my then boyfriend asked me how long I was going to be sad about it. That should have been a huge red flag to haul ass out of that relationship but I was too devastated by grief and was emotionally paralyzed. He later that same year cheated on me. If you're ever in pain and you partner's first response is cold, unsympathetic, or cruel - just leave them. Ghost them, block them, and focus on you. Looking back that's what I absolutely should have done.

I feel the same way, too. I don't buy into the whole "energy" thing. Everyone has a mix of "masculine" and "feminine" traits. I'm also not a fan because it's slippery slope to the lady brain argument, which is used to oppress women.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
