yeah Texas method is a solid one.... Guys lifting weights actually HELPS with bone denstity and lifting weights DOESN'T stop growth.... all of those rumours are made up by doctors who don't even fucking lift. ULTRA HEAVY FUCKING weights may compress your spine a little bit, but we are talking about heavy fucking weights....like 250+kg in the squat....Let me tell you if you can squat anywhere near that no one cares if you lost a couple of inches....your muscles will make up for it.

Lifting is not dangerous if you have solid technique and a solid training program. Starting Strength is a really good program, eat a lot and sleep well....that should do it. After you max the potential gains of SS, I'd suggest Madcow's 5x5.

It depends...if u mention "normal" like what todays society describes as normal then NO. By my definition of normal I mean: 1) Strong, muscular man either from manual labor or lifting weights. 2) Earn a living 3) Wants to have sex with women but not begg for it. Well it depends... If my date refused the drinks, everything is ok... if NOT My preference would be to go near the guy buy two beers, one for me one for him...have a good laugh, chat a little bit to make him feel safe and then break the bottle on his head, continue beating him....not for the woman but to guard my territory and salvage my dignity.
