CS Student here. There are two types of women in tech that I have run into. the type that passes by letting the white knights do their homework for them (and i cannot stand these people at all). the ones that really know their shit and who will run circles around me and 95% of the other students if we aren't careful. There seems to be no in between. And boy I just love running into the girls who are just as smart as can be (I always say if you are the smartest person in the room, you are in the …

This is dead on. Women (still, and maybe always will) have issues that they need to deal with. Any they should by all means try and fix those things. They are the most equipped to fight for them. But men also have (and maybe always will have) issues. To deny this, as it seems is so often done, is what gets up defensive. To imply that improving ourselves brings you down gets us defensive (although if it really does, there needs to be dialouge. Just dont imply that we are bringing you down only be…

I think the bigger question for me is if both parties are equal levels of intoxication (not matter where on the scale that is) what happens then? If one is tipsy and the other is close to blacked out, is that rape ALWAYS (ie if the guy is blacked out, is it rape by the girl, or is it rape by the guy, or is it nothing, and how consistent is that if the roles are reversed)? If the thing about alcohol means that you can't give consent, then neither drunk party gave consent. (it starts to get potent…

Though most #Rapists are men, most men are not rapists. Of course It would be helpful if we could tell the difference. well technically correct, it is misleading. 40% of rapists are women (According the CDC study that we have all seen 1000 times)

give it a shot and let us know. if you can make her laugh, you may take down the bitch shield. if not, she probably wasnt much fun to talk to anyway. i would really be interested in the pua community's response to testing of this

oneitis. there is not A girl you like. the nervousness comes from thinking this could ruin your shot. you have several chances with several other women (if you feel this to be untrue...you have oneitis). knowing that THIS conversation will not screw up your ONLY shot should make some of the nervousness subside

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
