There really is some misleading presentation of information here. I won't argue the scientific reports; but you're presenting online survey results, which are by design self-selective in the sort of person who'd answer them, and a Wikipedia article with an unsourced claim that romance novels comprise 55% of the paperback market, alongside those scientific results.

I'm convinced someone saw the Seddit post in r/foreveralone and wrote this up, assuming it'd get upvoted and therefore prove their negative assumptions about Seddit right. Whether that, or just a parody intended for humor, the end line about having to do all this by the time you're 17 tipped the hand.

Since you've implied you're in college... Had a good first date a week ago with a girl from classes, but we were too busy to have a second date before winter semester starts in January. Already had her on Facebook from knowing her beforehand, and we've commented on each other's stuff a little since. It honestly depends on the person, and I think you know what the answer is. I'm personally from a small, very Christian town, and all my friends in high school made an effort to wait before they had their kiss.
