Your unavailability is not reactive. You're showing that you already have plans, and that is not going to change just because she decided to call you again. You are not reacting to her test, and that is attractive.

My point was that they are not logical. The fact that you are unavailable makes you appear more valuable in their eyes, which makes no sense. I would maybe reschedule once, but if they keep ghosting, and try to come back and reschedule later, you need to show that your time is valuable by not jumping at her next availability.

It's a test to see if you have other options. Having other options is the most important thing as far as attraction

Woody harrelson had a quote in season 1 of True Detective. "I believe, past a certain age, a man without a family can be a bad thing." It seems to be true in my experience. As I've aged my world has gotten smaller, and what makes me happy, for the most part, is simply being around my wife, kids, close family and friends. The less I focus on personal goals, the happier I become.

He didn't say everyone is an adversary. One of his main points was to think about how you can make them an ally.

I've seen the people who get ahead in life, and OP is on the money. The truth isn't always pleasant. Learn it or be left behind.

Can I ask what fields you see as guaranteeing that kind of salary?

The "everyone has to go to college" rhetoric in education today feeds in to this. I knew at a young age that I couldn't keep up academically. There are other paths that you can take if you're a hard worker but don't quite have what it takes academically, and it would be nice if the school system accepted it. Ultimately, it is your responsibility though.

This is all true, and it took me a long time to realize it. Generally the "cool" kids are the ones who contribute to the vibe of the group, and the outcasts are those who don't.

I think better advice would be to always try, but if it isn't reciprocated, move on

When I was 18 I started a landscaping business out of high school. Long story short, it started to grow and was on the verge of really making money. Instead of following that path like I wanted to, I listened to my dad's negativity and got out of the business to get into IT. It's been nothing but a joke, the job market is shit, and you'll never be paid what you're worth. I am now the one living with the decision he made for me. And it's anger inducing, knowing where I could be right now as a sma…

Can I ask, in your experience, how much does "size" matter in these situations? Is the buff body more important?

This is all true. And to be honest, you don't even need to be that "cut" in my experience. I carry a bit of a gut myself, but ever since I started lifting, I catch women looking. Oh, and the groping. Lot of female friends sneaking in for a quick grab at the biceps. Seems to happen especially after a good arm workout. Feels good man.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
