| -4 | Taylor Swift releases man-hating music video. It's the Gillette ad all over again...I'm not going to get into a circle jerk argument with a stranger on the internet. If you are a part of this subreddit you already have views that won't change from a short exchange in the comment section. I'm so sorry that you feel life is easier for women, despite an entire history showing otherwise. I have no doubt there are aspects of life that are much more difficult for men; the encouragement to hide emotion and the pressure to be an alpha male to name two, but there really is no comparison… | /r/MensRights | 28/02/20 03:25 AM |

| -9 | Taylor Swift releases man-hating music video. It's the Gillette ad all over again......Do you really think homeless women have it easier? Do you think women in prison have it easier? Is finding a date on tinder one of the biggest issues you face as a man? This is exactly what I am talking about. Yes. There are certain arenas where women have it easier; divorce court is probably one of them. But by a vast majority men have it easier in this world. That's a fact. Period. However, women across the board, of all races, ages, sizes, and varying degrees of beauty, I would argue have had experiences where they do the EXACT same thing as a male cohort and have received a negative response. That’s pretty much the whole point of the song. If a woman behaved the… | /r/MensRights | 27/02/20 11:24 PM |
| 10 | Taylor Swift releases man-hating music video. It's the Gillette ad all over again...The end of the video was not satire, it was role reversal. Women across industries, particularly in the entertainment industry, are told to be sexy and likable. So Taylor is reversing those roles to show how stupid it is. She also praised the girl for standing there doing nothing - saying that men are often praised for doing the bare minimum. In my opinion the video was over the top and supposed to be funny. But there were definitely some serious themes underneath the absurdity. | /r/MensRights | 27/02/20 08:31 PM |
