Ask a lot of questions This on its own is really good advice. People love to talk about themselves. Sounds counterintuitive, but the more you have someone actually physically talking to you, the more they like you. Asking questions causes them to talk to you. I've learned to ask nearly rapid fire questions, and I noticed people actually like me more because of it. I've later learned that it works on me just as well, I just never noticed it before. This tip is actually in the Dale Carnegie How To…

It pretty much is medicine. The analogy of it being a pill is quite ingenious.

Would it be possible to dig this up? It'd be interesting to read this article.

I suppose if your goal is to lose your virginity at all costs, then maybe it's worth it I thought this was OP's goal she suspected you were a virgin Fair point. But do you think if I lied to her and then gave her decent sex she'll still suspect I was a virgin? (Second girl, same scenario, I told her for shits and giggles that I was a virgin before her, she was surprised because I made her cum 3 times. I guess NAMALT..heh) Oh, there's more to this story - she slept with me that night. We didn't h…

I totally agree with you but I'm not sure how that relates. My point was that the girl stopped in her tracks because she found out I was a virgin - she said so specifically. She was under the impression that I wasn't, which is why she was ok with having sex with me. As soon as she found out I was, it became a turn off. There is a reason everyone here is saying to lie about it. Girls do it too. Had I made up an ex or two (of course hindsight is 20/20), she probably would not have been turned off.…

Sorry, I misunderstood. Ok, yes, it happens a lot, but it doesn't mean it will happy to every virgin (which is what AMALT implies).

No, it was bullshit. I later did have a fwb with another girl. I never became attached to her. Not after the first time, not ever after that. I actually believed the first girl. I even was afraid to have sex with the second girl thinking I would get too attached. I did not. It made me furious (but also relieved me). I did not want to have a relationship with the second girl, and she did not want one with me. But we both wanted to fuck each other. It was the perfect situation.

Don't know. I was in this position when I was still a virgin - was making out and heavy petting on the bed when she suggested a fwb situation, and then I got asked that question. I guess I was too excited about it, so it showed. I told her the truth and she instantly dried up and told me some bullshit about how she doesn't want me to become attached to her because it would be my first time. So no. Don't reveal it even if you are already naked with her. If she wants a clear number, I'd go for a l…

Because there is no point to this post. How are you adding value to this subreddit with this? Incidentally, your post reeks beta.

I wish I had read this thread when I first started college. I only found out about TRP about a month ago. I graduated college 3 years ago. It's depressing the shit out of me, and I wish there was a time machine. I really hope that I can redeem myself. Hoping grad school is worth it.

Set a precedent - an expectation that you are interested in her sexually by doing something that guys who are interested in her sexually but too afraid to do something about it (like kino, etc) won't.

A girl in college said she wanted to have a friends with benefits situation with me. We were making out and were about to enter this arrangement. She asked how many girls I've slept with. I told her the truth, that I was a virgin (at the time). She instantly changed her mind irrevocably. Learned my lesson: never tell a girl you're a virgin.

Yeah. I guess it's my fault. I knew I was going to stick my dick in crazy. But I wanted to go for the ride (pun intended). Didn't realize it'd be harder to get out than I thought. The fact of the matter, she was not bad to me, and I was the one who broke up with her. Or maybe my judgment is clouded. There were definitely things about her that bothered me. Including her attitude about her past conquests, the whole not having a specific answer to the simple question: "how many boyfriends have you …
